Chapter 1 The new baby

"Push harder..... The head is out already just a little more" the doctor said to queen Amanda who screamed and finally the baby came out.

The cry of a baby could be heard in the room.

She was so eager to know the sex of the baby and she asked the nurse.

"What did I give birth to" she asked curiously and the nurse knowing what she meant replied her

"A bouncy baby girl, her majesty, She's so cute and...."

"Enough!" The queen said and asked her to take the baby away from her, knowing the kind of person the queen was she took the baby out of the room to nurse her.

Oh God!! Why me

Why can't I give birth to a male child, huh?

What's wrong with me.....if not for the love the king had for her he would had married another wife

She kept thinking and without wasting time, she fell asleep

The king just came back from a royal meeting and was tired, he went straight to his room and sat down on his bed.

He heard a knock and he muttered a faint "come in", he pulled his suit jacket and throw it on the bed

" Good day father " princess Bella greeted him with a smile and he nodded in response

"What brings you here ella" he asked as he pulled his shoe

"Dad am Bella not Ella" she said and that was when it dawned on him that he had mistook her for Daniella

"Well it's same thing Darling...consider the " B" removed, Is it not Ella? " he said in a funny tone and she laughed.

Well the king is also funny and he isn't that strict.. And the people loved him for that

"Well I came to inform you that mom has put to bed" she said happily and the king also smiled

"What is the sex" he asked as he flipped his leg into the slipper in front of him

"A baby girl dad" she said and the king countenance changed and when he saw that she noticed he then faked a smile.

"I will go see her" he said and Bella bowed before leaving the room

DAYS LATER

It was finally the day the baby would be named, everyone dressed in a red gown except the men who were dressed in black suit with red tie including the king.

The royal hall was busy as all the maids and guards walked around making sure the place was well decorated. The king sat in his throne and the three princesses sat on his left hand side, remaining the royal chair on the right which the queen was suppose to seat down but she was absent cause she was still dressing.

"It is ready... Your Highness" the guard said as he bowed and the king signalled him to leave, the king assigned a maid to go call the queen and few minutes time the Maud returned with the Queen.

Her dress was mopping down the floor, her hair packed in a ponytail and her crown was sparkling in her hair, she wore a nice smile and walked to where the king his

"Greetings your highness" she said and the king smiled, he knew he married a beautiful and nice woman but the problem his that she didn't bear him a son.

"Mom you look breathtaking" Ella said and the queen smiled and replied her

"Thanks Ella....you also look pretty baby" she said and Ella blushed

"You are such a joker mom... You don't need to make her feel good, she looks like a maid" Isadora said and suddenly her leg started to hurt her.. It was like someone was burning her

Dora turned her gaze to Bella cause she knew only her can hurt her like this

"Arghhhhh.... Stop it Bella! " she yelled in pain and Ella scoffed

"Next time you don't talk to your elders like that" Bella said and Ella chuckled

"Enough guys... Stop it Bella and moreover she wasn't talking to you she was talking to Ella" the queen said

"You haven't changed mom... Always supporting her even when she's wrong, yes she was talking to me she wasn't talking to Bella but does that change the fact that she insulted me, I shouldn't have complimented you in the first place" Ella retorted and made to walked out but was stop by the king

"When will all this stop, can't you guys behave like sisters for once..and Ella you don't walk out on me" the king said angrily

"I didn't walked out on you dad... I was talking to mum" Ella said angrily

"But I was present... What is the Royal teacher even teaching you guys, he was suppose to tell you that no matter who you are talking to.... As far as the king is present there you don't walk out on the person" the king spoke calmly

"Am sorry dad... It won't happen again" she said and bowed

"Good, Dora you are grounded, go to your room. You won't be attending this ceremony" the king finally spoke and walked out

"Mom can you imagine!! " Dora yelled

"I will talk to him just go to your room" the queen said and Dora stormed out of the room angrily

"You will regret spoiling her" Bella said as she took Ella hands and they walked out heading to the hall.

The queen sighed.

The ceremony was filled with lots of prince and princesses from other kingdoms and they were all seated in the Royal hall waiting for the king and queen.

Presenting to you 'king Nathan and queen Amanda'" the Royal announcer announced and everyone stood on their feet and bowed. The king waved his hands at them as he went to sit in the chair waiting for him, the Queen also did same.

The people were addressed well and when it was time for the baby to be named they stood up again.
