Chapter 3 I'll be fine

The she-devil

Aunt was more concerned with our plans other than her health, she gestured out to me as I pulled her up from the bed, "come on". The weakness aunt felt disappeared the moment I made known I got the job.

We walk into a dark room, the atmosphere recked of dust, widows were locked shut, "turn on the lights please" she pointed out where the switch was and when I turned it on, I was mesmerized by what I saw.

The whole room was filled with pictures of Mr. Drew's whole family and every activity they underwent each day.

"What is this aunt! I never knew such room excited?" I said looming my eyes around, rather she pulls my eyes over to a photo of a young man, which was; Mr. Drew's son ( Daren Drew).

"You do know who he is right?" Aunt idlis for my response, " yes...I..do" I answered but was more concerned about what aunt was thinking.

"Okay! So change of plan! You won't only infiltrate Mr. Drews's family but also use his son as a medium to get what you want". She confirmes and hoped to hear an enthusiastic response to her sudden change of plans.

"Wait! What?". I Said in shock, my feet pulled a step back from where she stood glancing at me.

"What is it? Do you not wish to take revenge for the death of your parents and take back what you lost?".

I halted to think for a second, before returning my opinion to her, " I do but using the son, isn't right? Mr. Daren is innocent, he shouldn't be added to our plans".

My hesitancy to her plans made aunt suspicious about me, she fills up the distance between us, dragging my ears forward to where her mouth was, echoing her words through my ears "now listen and listen good! Don't you think of falling in love with Mr. Drew's Son and before you try to do anything that might jeopardize our plans, thinks well and this isn't a debate, you will make sure Daren Drew falls in love with you". She angrily shoves me away, ambling out from the room.

Although I was hell-bent on wrecking the lives of Drew's family, Daren wasn't on the list, and besides he didn't do anything wrong, the only thing was Mr drew ended up having a murderous father.

The same day, aunt and I was sited at the dining table, quietly having our dinner, when Mr. Daniel the Butler informed us that a young man was waiting outside for me

Who?"

I tried to inquire but he had no idea what his name was, thus after some time, I walked out of the house just to see my boss Daren outside my home.

"Sir Daren! What are you doing here".

My eyes turned back, to cross-check if aunt was in anyway spying on us, apparently seeing him here will give her the urge and the conformity that Daren was the key player in our plans.
