Chapter 3 Flirting with Fire

Lucas' POV

"So, why her," Damien, my Beta asked me.

"Sam is your Luna and my mate. And, I can't wait to bring her home and make it official."

"She is a human Alpha. How do you know that she will accept you?"

"She will, just give me time to convince her. I will make her mine," I replied with confidence.

Sam brought our food back and gave everyone their food first; she saved my mine for last. As she came closer to me to hand my food to me, I didn't hesitate in the slightest. I grabbed her around the waist and brought her to me. I inhaled her scent again. I would never get tired of her smell; cinnamon, sugar, honey, and a hint of sweet red roses. She went to move and walk away. I just held her and asked what the rush was to get away for. She said that she had to get back to work. I held her for a few more minutes, before pulling her onto my lap. I placed my right hand on her leg and slowly started moving it up her thigh. Once it was mere inches from her pussy, I knew she was wet. I could smell her arousal, I was getting so hard. I was about to burst through my pants. I took her hand in mine and placed and a kiss on her knuckles, rubbing circles with my thumb on the top.

"You are beautiful Sam and you smell great," I told her.

"Thank you, but I really need to get back to work."

"Ok," I let her go and she got up. I moaned at the loss of her against my body. Before she left, I grabbed her hand once more and walked up to her. I reached in my pocket and pulled out my room key to the Chateau on the Lake, where I staying in Branson for the weekend. I could always get a new one, once we got back to the hotel. "Here's the key to my hotel room. We'll be leaving soon and going back. You should stop by after work. I'm in room 298 at the Chateau on the Lake. I hope to see you there." Sam took the key, placed it in her pocket, and walked away. I couldn't help but grin, ear to ear. I had a feeling that I would be seeing her later.

Sam's POV

When Luc pulled me onto his lap and started groping my leg, I had to bite back my moans. It felt so good to have him touching me. Then, he had to go and place a kiss on my hand, it made things worse. I told him that I had to get back to work; I needed a reason to get out of there. In reality, their table was my only one. We barely had any customers that night. We were not busy at all. I just wanted to be anywhere, but there at that moment in time. He let me go and before I could walk away, he grabbed my hand and placed the key to his hotel room in my hand, he told me to stop by after work. He said that

he wanted to see me. Luc is staying at the Chateau, I heard it's beautiful. I've never been and I did want to see it. I didn't know if I should go or not.

I got back to the bar and everyone had so many questions and they were all talking at the same time, my head began to hurt. "What was that all about?" they all chimed in unison.

"I don't know. I honestly don't. But..." I held up the key that he gave me.

"Sam, what in the actual fuck is that?" Michael screamed at me.

"It's the key to his room at the Chateau. He wants me to come by after work," I replied.

"Well," asked Erica.

"Well, what?

"Are you going or not? Don't play coy with us, Samantha Jane! Are you going to his room or not?" Renee piped in.

"I honestly don't know. I don't even know the guy.," I replied with my best smile. But, to be honest, I kind of wanted to go. Luc made me feel things that I shouldn't feel. But at the same time, I liked how he made me feel. I loved it actually.

2 hours later

Luc walks up to me to let me know that he is taking off. He asked when my shift was over. I informed him that I had another three hours to go. "I'll see you tonight," Luc stated, as he reached down and kissed me on the cheek, before starting to walk away. I grabbed Luc's hand. He stopped and turned with that stupid grin on his face. I wanted to slap it off really hard. He was irritating me, with all his touches and you smell really good. And don't get me started on the, hey, beautiful that he kept throwing my way all night. He was starting to get under my skin. The problem was not that I didn't like it, but, that I did. "Luc, we just literally met. So, here's this back, I'm not going to be needing it." I gave him his key back or at least, I tried to. He told me to keep it and he stuck it inside my apron pocket. This time, he gave me an open mouth kiss on the lips before walking away, I refused to kiss back. He was being a really cocky bastard. I wasn't going to go. I wasn't going to let him have his way.

A week later

A week has passed, I never went to Luc's hotel room, and I thought that I had heard the last of him. Boy, I was sadly mistaken. I was at work when I received sixty dozen red roses at work, with a single white rose in the middle of each bouquet. That's 720 roses that I just received. It was 7:20 P.M. when we first laid eyes on each other. I remember because I just came in from a smoke break when I first saw him. I checked the time on my phone to make sure that I was not late. There was a card attached. It read: Roses are red, violates are blue. I want you. Thinking of you. I'm still at the Chateau, same room. He had his phone number attached to it as well. Needless to say, I was awestruck, they were very beautiful. So, when I got off work that night, I decided to text him. I wanted to thank him for the flowers.
