Chapter 3 3

Rose walked over to her bed, every inch of her body was aching as she had overworked herself in the last few days, Just as she landed on the bed's surface, the phone in her pocket started vibrating, she pulled it out and without looking at the caller's name she swiped the screen and took it to her ear.

"Hello," she said in a tired tone.

"What happened? Are you sick?" A worried voice spoke from the other side,it was a man's voice that was loaded with care and affection.

"Grandpa!!! I missed you!!" Rose sat up quickly and spoke.

"You liar!! If you really missed me, you would have called," he replied.

"I am telling the truth! I missed you so much!! And I have goodews," Rose spoke in excitement.

"What is it?" Mordak asked.

"I am coming back home!!" Rose exclaimed.

"

"You are?!" He was taken aback.

"Yes!! Finally, I am coming back." She said.

You are?!" He was taken aback.

"Yes!! Finally, I am coming back." She said. "I have given an end to everything, and now I can peacefully return." She took a long relieved breath and continued, "I have a flight tomorrow morning, don't tell Miles that I am coming back. I will surprise him once I am back," Rose spoke.

"Finally!! I will see my granddaughter, after 5 long years," he spoke in a longing voice.

Senrose had boarded the plane and was looking for her seat.

"May I help you?" The air hostess asked with a polite tone.

"Yes, Please," Senrose replied.

The hostess took her ticket and glanced at her seat number and then pointed at the fifth row.

"There it is, Right beside the old lady in pink," she said.

"Thank you very much," Senrose thanked her and headed towards her seat.

After getting herself comfortable she glanced out the window and clenched her teeth tightly. The emotions she felt were happiness, fear and excitement, it was so overwhelming that she couldn't express herself any other way, so she just clenched her fist and bit her teeth to control her overflowing emotions.

"Here I come," she mumbled.

The old lady beside her was holding an entertainment magazine with the picture of a guy. He wore an elegant three piece suit with black shades resting on the bridge of his nose, revealing his pair of Hazel eyes, he had a flirty smile on his face as he winked at the camera.

Senrose's eyes sparkled as she shrieked, "Noah Hulls!! Why is he so damn handsome!?" Her voice was oddly loud that made the old lady jump in surprise.

"My goodness!! Why are you so loud?" She spoke.

Senrose pouted and looked down in shame, "I am sorry, I just got a bit excited when i saw him," she pointed at Noah Hulls, He one of the most famous actor and a great singer, he was known worldwide for his talents, and he ruled the hearts of maiden's all over the world, and one of those maiden was Senrose, Noah was her first love. He was a source of inspiration for her and one of the many thousand dreams of her was to work along with him on a project. But seeing her current growth rate Senrose could feel that it was an impossible thing to achieve.

The lady closed the magazine and looked at the cover. Her lips slowly curled into a mischievous smile and she spoke.

"You love this guy here?" She asked Senrose.

Rose gave a quick nod, her eyes were sparkling when she did that. "Yes, I do!" She replied.

"Here, have it then," The lady gave her the magazine, Semrose paused for a second as she didn't expect that from the lady, she readily took the magazine and hugged it tightly. "Thank you so much!! Now I can stare at him for the rest of the journey without getting bored," she grinned.

"Young people these days," the lady chuckled as she shook her head sideways.

The lane took off, it was a ten hour flight, Semrose had fallen asleep with the magazine tightly in her arms. She didn't wake up until the lady beside her, patted her shoulder to wake her up.

"Wake up, we have landed." She spoke.

Senrose opened her sleepy eyes and looked out the window, it was dark outside, though the lights on the runway were on, it still couldn't overpower the darkness of the night.

It took Senrose half an hour to get out of the airport. For some reason the airport was packed today, that made it almost impossible to walk out. When finally she got out of the exit, she fixed her hair that was ruined. She then pulled her luggage and waved her hand to stop a cab. A silvery white car stopped and the driver got off. "Let me put it in the trunk," the driver said respectfully. Senrose nodded and let go of the bag, she was still holding into the magazine tightly. She opened the door of the car and sat back in the seat. The driver too took his seat and just when she was about to tell him where she had to go, the door of the car opened and a guy rushed inside, Senrose felt like her heart had left her body as the person who had just entered looked like a thief. He had his face covered with a black mask and was wearing a cap making it impossible to see his eyes.

"Go!! Hurry!!" He spoke in an urgent tone.

"EXCUSE ME!! Who do you think you are to brag in my car as you please?" Senrose spoke in an angry tone as she shrunk back in the seat trying to maintain as much distance as possible.

With those words said Senrose expected an answer but the guy never looked in her direction, he just pulled out a black wallet from his pocket and took out all the money that was inside it.

"I will give you this if you drive away now!" He tried to buy the driver and guess what? He succeeded. Just when the driver saw the money in the guy's hands his eyes sparkled and he stepped in the gas and soon they were driving through the road with lightning speed. Senrose huffed in anger and glanced at the guy who was looking back through the rear glass. He seemed worried.

"Hey! Where are you taking me?" Senrose asked the driver.

"Where do you want to go?" The guy in the mask asked.

"Why should I tell you?!" She replied in a defensive tone, "First you sabotage my ride and then you bribe the driver and now you want to know my house address?- are you a pervert?" Senrose overreacted as she stared at him with suspensos eyes. She was no longer hiding in the corner. Right now she looked like a lioness that had been let out of her cage.

"Miss, I know it was sudden but I really had to do it," he replied in a soft and soothing voice that suddenly Senrose felt like she had done something wrong.

'Huh? Why is he talking like that? Shouldn't he be using a language that gangster's do?' Senrose stared at those eyes that were hidden under his cap. 'Come to think of it, He sounds very manly. I wonder what he looks like,- what?! Have you lost it? Shut up and concentrate on roasting the guy!!'

"Whatever! You took away my ride-

"Watch out!!" The guy exclaimed in horror and pulled Senrose towards himself, he wrapped his arms around her, while her face landed on his firm chest. The only sound Senrose heard after his worried cry was a screeching sound of tires rubbing against the road.

After a while there was a complete silence, Senrose felt her heart pounding harshly, her nose was filled with the fragrance of a man's perfume, and before her eyes there was a broad chest. She swiftly pushed him away and held herself.

"Are you okay!" He asked, his voice was filled with worry. Senrose didn't say anything at first but when she realised the situation by looking through the windshield, she gave a light nod.

"That's relieving," he replied, it went oddly silent after that and then the door of the car"s suddenly opened and someone placed a white handkerchief on Senrose's mouth, she saw another guy doing the same to the masked guy. Everything happened very suddenly and Senrose lost her consciousness.
