Chapter 2 2

Buzz-buzz

A phone rang, it was the only thing emitting light in the dark room, The person sleeping got disturbed by the sound so she got up and picked up the phone.

"Hello," It was a sleepy voice, her hoarse voice sounded really seductive as she spoke.

"It's Mommy, were you sleeping?" The woman on the other side had a very comforting voice, the girl in the bed got off the bed and opened the heavy dark curtains and allowed the light to enter the room, that was a complete mess. Everything was out of order, her clothes were scattered all over the room and the bed had half eaten food decorated on it.

"Yes, I just woke up-" she combed her hair with her fingers and sat back on the sofa beside the window.

"Dear-we were thinking," Her mother spoke with caution.

"Mom! Not again! I told you I am not marrying anybody! I can live alone," she was annoyed, because her mother had started this discussion many times.

"But dear, you have become of age,"

"I am 24!!" She stood up from the couch in anger, "Mom why is our every conversation revolving around my marriage? Don't you have anything else to say to me?" She knitted her eyebrows as she walked around the room.

"Okay, okay! I won't say it again! Don't get angry!" Her mother tried to calm her down.

"No I will get angry! How come this is the only thing you say to me when you call? If you want to see someone getting married ask Rose to get married!!" Dela ended the call angrily and threw herself on the couch.

"Huff- this is making me angry!!" She muttered in a frustrated voice. After a while she picked up her cell phone again and saw that she had received twenty messages from her manager. She knitted her eyebrows and opened the messages.

Ava: "I have such big news for you!!!"

Ava: "You have got an invite from Director Theo, He wants you to come to the audition for the FL,"

Ava: "hey!! Answer me! Are you there?"

Ava: "stop ignoring me!!"

Ava: "oh I remember! I booked your tickets for tomorrow afternoon,"

Ava: "Don't forget it!"

Delaphina read the messages and slowly got up off the couch. She walked into the washroom and looked into the mirror. The girl in the mirror had pale white skin and natural pink lips. Her brown hair that reached her lower back were dead straight, though they were a bit rough because she just got up but that didn't make her look any less attractive. Her cheek lightly blushed and her almond shaped Hazel eyes. She was a beauty without comparison.

In the entertainment circle she made herself a name on her own. She was a hard working actress. Though her father Gabriel Dallarose, a well known business tycoon ,had a great influence on her career, she had achieved many heights just because of her great acting skills.

"Hm- a female lead!" She mumbled, and glanced back at her phone screen.

Dela: "Send me the script, i will do it if I like it,"

She replied and placed her phone down, and pulled her hair up into a bun. And went to take a bath.

A girl walked through a dark alley, it was cold outside so she had wrapped her coat around her body tightly. The crickets were making sharp noises, her quick footsteps were the only other sound one could hear.And from behind her she heard a deep voice that made her jump in fright.

"Hello my love! We met again," it was a hoarse voice, the girl's heart leaped out of her chest and goosebumps appeared on her body, her complexion got pale. Her feet halted and she slowly turned around. There was a dark shadow of a man in a long coat, he was leisurely resting on the wall, and he pulled out a lighter. With a clicking sound the man's face illuminated with the warm light of the fire. He brought it closer to his lips where he was holding a cigarette. It caught fire, when it had burned a small portion of the cigarette, the fire vanished and the only thing left was the ember.

The girl was breathless, she stood like a rock as she stared at the guy's shadow.

"Get lost!- I don't want to see you!! How many times have I said that!!" She shuttered while speaking.

"But what should I do? I can't live without you," he stepped away from the wall and slowly approached the girl, she stepped back slowly.

"Stay back! Don't come closer to me!" She shuttered.

This was really amusing for the guy, he sucked in on his cigarette and threw it on the ground. His leg slowly stepped on it making the last source of light to disappear. The guy blew the smoke out of his mouth. The air had a burning smell in it, the girl quickly covered her nose with her hands.

"Hah! You look so cute when you do that," he guy held her shoulder and lightly stroked her hand on which a frown formed on the girl's face. She removed one of her hands from her nose and grabbed onto the guy's arm. She was surprisingly very strong. She jerked off his hand and stepped away.

"Get lost before I beat you up!" She said.

"Hah! A tiny girl like you will beat a fully grown up man like me? Does that make se-" he had placed his hand on her shoulder again and was slowly making his way towards her neck when he felt a sharp pain between his legs. The girl had kicked him in the ball. She took his hand that was resting on her shoulder and twisted it, it was so painful that he crouched even lower. Everything happened so quickly that the guy didn't have any time to react.

"Agh!! It hurts!! Let go!!"

"Cut!!" The director roared and the girl let go of the guy's hand.

"What are you? An animal?"

The lights of the alley turned on and the two people were finally visible by the lights.

"I am so sorry!! Did I twist it too much!" The girl bit her tongue and sat beside the guy who had a frown on his face. "Let me massage your hand for you!" She said and kneaded his arm, "it's fine, you don't have to do it," he got up slowly leaving the girl. She stared at his fading figure as a bunch of ladies circled around him.

"Rose!! You were so great!" A girl with curly hair rushed over to the girl on the ground.

But Senrose was pouting sadly. "This is the last episode where I appear!! What am I going to do after that?" She looked at her manager Aka Friend.

"Hah! I was waiting for you to say that!" Bliss grinned proudly.

"What do you mean?" Senrose asked.

"I have collected a few scripts of the upcoming dramas, I am sure you will get a role in them," Bliss spoke in excitement, "And look at this," she took out her phone from her pocket and showed her something. "Isn't that my song?" Senrose said. "Yes, exactly!! Look at how many views you have and you already have a fan page!!"

"Fan page?" She asked.

"Yes! Look, you have a grand total of 5 fans!!" Bliss said.

Slap!-

Senrose slapped Bliss's head lightly, "You made me excited for no reason!" She said and got up.

"No! But look!!"

On the screen there was a Silhouette of a girl singing. Rose's face wasn't visible as she sang. There were about fifty comments saying that she should reveal her face. She had a total of fifteen songs that she had sung, it was a hobby but it grew on her and she decided to share it with the world but in the beginning no one was interested in her voice, but slowly her songs were heard and liked by many people.

Senrose walked away with her manager, the crowd was not interested in seeing her off as she was just a stunt double.

She got a little wage, and so she had to do all sorts of odd jobs. But her dream was to become a well known actress.
