Chapter 3 My Mate

Chapter 2

Tigra's pov

I don't know how long I've been trapped behind this wall for. I never see daylight anymore so I couldn't tell you what time it is. They have someone bring me my food and other stuff, but I never see the person. I have a bed a desk and a small table and a bathroom. It's amazing how much stuff they have down here within the walls.

It's as if he had this planned all along. To have it set up the way he did she wondered if he had this planned since she was born, but why? Why not allow her and his son to be together? Of course, she hated his son, and would never promise to be with him all her life especially now that she has found her one true love.

She often thought of Sam and wondered what he was doing. Did he ever think of her? She knew he thought she was dead Gavin Gage's father had told her that. She didn't know why he came to visit her so much since he claimed to hate her. He told me the next time he was coming he would have a surprise for me.

I didn't even want to think what that could be. I hate that I'm here all I do is think, and now I am wondering if everything I believed in was all a lie. Everything I was taught was nothing but lie. I grew up hating wolfs, but now I was in love with one and all I wanted to do was be back with the pack that welcomed me like family. I actually started to hate vampires they made me sick. I wanted to be in the arms of my mate, but that would never happen again Gavin took all that away from me.

Gavin's pov

I knew I should kill this mutt, but I couldn't I felt guilty for taking away Tigra's future from her. I know she thinks I'm a monster, but I'm not. I never wanted this not really. Yes, I wanted my son to be king that's why I made a deal with Tigra's family.

I'll admit I did so many things wrong in my life. See I am not Gage's real father. I did raise him only because his real father was never to be known. I did as my beloved asked of me. I was under her spell. Everyone hates me thinking I am the one that has done all this terrible stuff, but I am not it was all him. If he ever found out I didn't kill Tigra or her mate I would suffer, but I couldn't.

I couldn't kill my own daughter. I could never tell her she was my daughter and that is why her life is so messed up. If I told her it would ruin everything. So, I have to keep her hidden away from everyone. I am bringing her mate to her as a surprise so that maybe she would stop looking at me with so much hate. This was the only thing I could do for her. I just hope I didn't end up regretting it later on.

Sam's pov

I can't believe this is happening not now my sister needs me. I'm going to be an uncle, and now I will never see those babies. Serenity must be going crazy right now. I don't know where they are taking me all I know is that these men are vampires and that was not a good thing. This man named Gavin reminded him of someone, but he didn't know who. He told him not to worry that everything would be ok, but how can that be when he's not with his family? He knew Xavier would take good care of Serenity but losing him would affect her.

He was blindfolded and they sprayed him with something he figured it was to mask his sent. They drove for a while and then stopped here we go this is where he was going to die. He heard the voice of Gavin telling him to walk and not say a word. We went down a lot of stairs and to somewhere that smelled really old and musty. Great they were going to lock him up and make him suffer so much for a quick death.

Tigra's pov

I heard the door, so I immediately knew it had to be Gavin, so I didn't bother to get up and hide. He was probably bringing her more books to read since she told him she was out. She sniffed the air once just to make sure when she caught a sniff that made her heart skip a beat no it couldn't be. She heard footsteps, and knew it was more than just Gavin. She hurried and hid so no one would find her.

"Tigra its ok come out I brought you a surprise." Gavin said.

"Ok what is it?"

She looked up and saw the only thing she has ever wanted in her life her mate.

"What is going on?"

"Tigra is that you?" Sam asked.

Gavin took the blindfold off and untied Sam so I could run into his arms.

"I don't understand I thought you were dead what's going on here?"

"I was brought here because of my family. I am so sorry to bring you into all of this Sam."

"Gavin what's going on why did you bring him here?"

"I well I felt bad for you not having a life because of a deal that was made way before you was ever born. I'm not such a bad guy Tigra. I felt you were never given a chance so when I found out about him being your mate, I had him brought here so you could at least be together. I must go before anyone expects anything. If you need anything let me know I will be back later."

"I don't know what to say Gavin."

"Don't say anything just be happy."

"Look man I don't know you but thank you for bringing me to my mate."

Sam held her for what seemed like forever. He looked at her with so much love, and truly seemed happy to be with her. She knew she had a lot to explain, but she was scared he wouldn't want her anymore. How do you tell the love of your life that now because of her he would never see her family, never get to run or see the light of day? That by being with her his wolf would slowly die. How could I do that to the man I love so much.
