Chapter 5 My mate is my enemy

(Prince POV)

I groaned as I felt a pain in my abdomen.

"Mr. Killian!" a voice echoed in my ear making me give a content sigh. I felt myself shivering and sweating as I tried my best to find the owner of that voice.

"Mr. Killian, are you alright?!" A hand touched my forehead and an explosion of sparks erupted through my body.

I finally found her! I finally found my mate!

I used all my strength as I tried even more hard to open my eyes.

My mate touched my cheek and once again a wave of spark fill through my body. My body felt relax and I tried even harder. After some more struggle I was successfully able to open my eyes.

My eyes met with a pair of light brown eyes. My eyes roamed through her face, studying each feature.

"Hello Mr. Killian" She said smiling nervously. My heart skipped a beat at her beautiful smile.

Wait... Something is not right.

I have searched the whole planet for my mate. She was not there. I was convinced I have no mate. I looked around the room. This doesn't look like my home or the space ships.

My eyes widen as I remember the incident.

The earthling... the gunshot...Pain... the... the girl!

I looked at her again.

It was the same girl. The one who found me injured in the woods!

I quickly sat up and on process she moved back in shock.

"Urgh!" I shouted as pain filled my abdomen.

"Sir! Please don't move! You are hurt!!" she shouted as she quickly came to me. The pain was still evident in my body but I noticed I was bandaged.

The girl pushed me backward so I lay on the bed.

"Mr. Killian, please be calm. You have suffered a severe injury in your abdomen" she said, her face filled with worry.

"Mr. Killian?" I asked as she looked at me wide eyes.

She stared at me for a few second as I stared back. She quickly cleared her throat and looked away blushing.

"Yes that is your name right?" she asked as I stared at her.

"Don't you remember, sir?" she asked as I kept looking at her.

"I think you have lost your memory." She said as she grabbed a notepad from the table next to her. Her eyes held confusion and question as she started to mumble and scribble down notes.

"Don't worry sir. I'm sure it is only a temporary memory loss. For confirmation I will do an MRI scan tomorrow." She said as she gave me a beautiful wide smile making my heart skip a beat.

No! Don't say that! You are the next king! She is a human, our enemy. You cannot marry her. What will father think?

"Don't worry Sir. Your name is Killian and you work for the Alpha D-section team i.e. the Top team for the sniper" she said as I looked at her questionably.

"Oh right. I found it from this." She said as she showed me an earth shirt. "You were wearing it when I found you" she continued.

It's the dress of the earthling that shot me. She must have thought I am this Killian Human. I guess that is good.

I will be safe as long as I go unrecognized. I will escape when I'm alone.

But what about my mate....

I suddenly felt a movement. Her hand was going to touch my forehead but I caught it midway. Sparks flew around us as I took a deep breath to calm myself.

She, on the other hand, stared at our hand.

She is an earthling. I forgot they don't have mates.

That is good I guess. I can go back to the ship without having to fear about her.

But why... why would our creator, Lord Zylax pair me with a human?

I stared at her light brown eyes. Her beautiful eyes held confusion and I feel the urge to kiss them.

No! No! Oh Lord! This is so wrong.

I broke my eye contact and let go of her hand.

"I need to do a quick check up on you. I... I think you... um have a fever. Your face is red" she stammered as I nodded still not looking at her.

She took some weird gadgets and started to do this so called check up. I was hesitant at letting her use those earthly things on me but a part of me kept telling that she can be trusted.

I felt eased under her touch and I couldn't help but smile at her adorable concentrated expression.

"You are alright. The wound in your abdomen is also healing fast and good. But you will have difficulty in walking. But nothing physiotherapy can't do. A little hard work and you will be walking in a month" She said as she finished my bandages.

"Physiotherapy? What is that?" I asked as her eyes widen.

I crunched my eyebrow and looked at her confused.

"You can talk?!" She said shocked.

"Yes I can. Why couldn't I" I said as she gave a nervous laugh.

"I'm sorry. You were silent all this time. So I just thought....." she said scratching her neck.

One thing I notice a lot is that these earthlings are over-expressing.

Or.... maybe it's just her.

"Thank you for taking care of me" I said as she blushed and nodded.

"It is my duty, Sir" she smiled making my heart flutter.
