Chapter 3 Mate

(Prince Nyx POV)

"I always considered us to be unfortunate because we were not able to find our mate. But now I understand it's because the Lord wants us together" Hasya said as I rolled my eyes.

'If the Lord wants us together then he would have made us mates' I wanted to say but I held my tongue.

I promised my father I will not speak anything improper against her.

I am Prince Nyx, the 2nd son to King Knox and the next King to the planet of Zylians. I am currently 21 and mateless.

We Zylians are species of advance race. We are called the conquerors of galaxy since we conquer any planet which perks our interest.

But attacking this planet has another purpose. We hate them. We despise them. They took something dear and near to us and we will destroy this planet for that.

The woman who is blabbering beside me is Hasya. One of the top warrior of our planet and too full of herself. We both haven't found our mate so we were forced to accompany each other in order to get married in the future.

Well I am forced. She seems to enjoy.

"Will you shut up!?If we get killed, your mouth is the only thing to blame" I finally snap as the last thread of patience broke.

We were hunting the earth grounds. With her loud mouth, we will definitely become an easy target.

Sound of earth guns firing suddenly filled the air as I cursed.

"Shit. They found us!" I said as I took out my weapon.

A group of men came out. There were at least 10 of them. We will not make it.

"Hasya split and run. It's the only way to not get killed" I said in my language as she nodded.

One plus point she has was when it come to this situation. She becomes fierce and ready to fight instantly.

"Now!!" I shouted we immediately took off in opposite directions. I jumped through the trees confusing the earthling that is following me.

I had to kill few of those worthless earthlings before losing sight of the rest.

I walked carefully through the forest of this planet. It was dark and past midnight. The silence filled throughout the area.

After years of planning and learning about these earthlings we surprised attack them. We hate them. they are worthless. Ever since young I was trained and taught to lead my army to destroy this planet. I was taught all the traditions and languages of these humans because father said we must know our enemies to defeat them and as future king I will be successful in my mission.

Suddenly I was interrupted by a sound of leaf cracking. I slowly took out my shifter from the pocket and pressed the button to turn it into a high power electric gun. It was my divine weapon.

Every Zylians have powers which get transferred to their weapons. But this is only half our power. When we need our full power, our body ignites into the power and our eyes glow.

I kept my weapon ready looking around for any signs of movement.

Suddenly a loud bang echoed through the air and I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen region before I collapse to my knee.

Shit! I've being shot!!

I looked at the direction of the sound to find an earthling on top of a tree with a gun. I pointed my electrifier at him and shoot him.

Dead.

I smirked, proud of myself. I'm very good at shooting and aiming.

Once again pain shoots through my body as I curse.

Urgh!! It hurts. I put my gun in neutral mode at put it back to my pocket. I began examining the wound but it was very much stinging and I don't seem to get any concentration.

Suddenly I was alerted by sounds of movement and I began looking around. I don't think I can fight with this wound. Usually earthling weapons don't take a huge toll on us but this...

I cursed as I removed my suit completely and put on the earthlings dress. I hate wearing this disgusting thing but I have no other choice. The only way out is disguising myself as an earthling.

I just hope they don't figure out I am not one of them.

"Argh!" I groaned in pain as I tried to move my body. I quickly sat on a crouch position clenching my stomach.

"Oh my god!" I heard an angelic voice making my eyes widen. My eyes shot up to see a petite figure... a female. She approached closer taking her own time.

"A...are you alright?" She asked.

"St...Stay....a...away" i grunted and she immediately stopped on her tracks.

"Urgh!!" I shouted as the pain kept on increasing... my vision going in and out.

Why am I feeling like this? I've gotten shot before but this...this pain is new.

"You're wounded badly! Please let me take care of you" She shouted and I didn't notice that she moved closer to me.

This woman... Why do I feel so content on just seeing her?

She sat down on her knees and looked at my wound.

"Don't touch me" I shouted but my vision completely blackened as I fell forward but the last thing I felt is a wave of sparks.
