Chapter 5 You Are A Filthy Woman

Since Roy had no place to vent his anger, he went to the club to race with his friends.

As for Malcolm, he could only feel relief as soon as he heard the sound of Roy's car driving away. He lowered his head and looked at the sleeping Janice in his arms. Her face was flushed and she waved her hands from time to time. It was obvious that she had too much to drink.

After some hesitation, Malcolm frowned and put her down, leaving her on the cold ground. He then stepped into the living room.

At this point, Jasmine Lin immediately came up to him. She was a servant brought by Janice from the Jian family. She had been with her for more than 10 years.

Seeing no one behind Malcolm, she was immediately confused, but didn't dare ask directly.

But as she was hesitating, a cold voice thundered in her ears. "She's outside. Bring her in!"

Jasmine immediately ran out and felt sorry the moment she saw the passed out Janice sitting alone on the ground.

"Miss Janice, why are you sleeping here? You'll catch a cold!" She ran up to her and tried to pull her up. Although distressed, she rubbed Janice's arms, hoping to warm her.

Janice was so drunk that she didn't even wake up to Jasmine's voice and touch. The servant had no choice but to bring her in.

Jasmine carried Janice upstairs and gently placed her on the bed before running the water for her bath. Janice didn't make a fuss. She huddled up obediently with her face looking sad, red, and dazed.

That was what Malcolm saw when he came in the room.

Janice looked like an animal who was terrified of being alone. She was curled up on the bed, as if protecting herself from unknown threats. Such a defense made Malcolm unhappy.

How could she be so fragile?

Why would she seek protection?

Since Janice had committed so many mistakes, she should ask sincerely for forgiveness instead of acting pitiful to gain some sympathy.

Malcolm thought about this as he made his way to the bathroom. Before Jasmine could greet him, he reached for a basin of water from the bathtub.

As soon as he went out, Jasmine immediately sensed that something wrong was about to happen. And sure enough, she saw him pouring water over Janice just as she stepped out.

He acted so decisively, showing no trace of pity at all.

The water was still cold as Jasmine had just turned on the faucet. With water soaking through her clothes and the chill penetrating her skin, Janice woke up from her drunken state.

When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Malcolm's gloomy face and the basin in his hand.

The light in her eyes disappeared in an instant.

"Malc..." Janice called out his name and was about to get up and change her clothes in the dressing room. She felt terribly exhausted and had no energy to argue with him. She just wanted to slip into dry clothes and then go to sleep.

She hoped to forget everything that happened that night by the time she woke up the following day.

But it seemed as if Malcolm wouldn't let her have a moment of peace.

"Janice, it's been just two years. Have you forgotten the rules in our contract?" Malcolm's harsh tone completely sobered Janice up.

She then looked around and saw Jasmine standing behind him. Jasmine looked so small and she seemed very worried and afraid.

Seeing her terrified expression, Janice sniffed and smiled, pretending to be perfectly calm.

"Jasmine, I have something to talk about with Malc. You can leave now." She walked over to the servant and held her hand as she stepped out.

She had to make an excuse as she didn't want Jasmine to see her in such a distressed state. Jasmine wanted to say something to Malcolm, but she chose to keep her mouth shut when she saw the ferocious look in his eyes.

Janice saw it, too. And although she felt uncomfortable as well, she pretended to be composed and collected in front of Jasmine.

"Well, Jasmine, Malc and I are a couple. We can work out our problems. You can go back to your work. I would like some porridge after my bath. I hope you can help me prepare it." And before Jasmine could reply, she was almost pushed out the door by Janice.

Closing the door behind her, Janice realized that there were only Malcolm and her in the room.

With an unwavering smile, she said gently, "I'm sorry, Malc. I drank too much tonight so I forgot the rules. I won't make the same mistake again."

One of the rules they had both agreed to was that Janice couldn't sleep earlier than Malcolm in their villa.

Her tone was not firm and she didn't look particularly determined. But Malcolm could tell that Janice meant every word and that she wouldn't do it again.

But he still felt extremely unhappy about what happened. Even worse, he couldn't understand why he felt this way.

"Next time, you will have to leave. I don't like people who don't keep their promises." The implication was very clear. If Janice broke the rules again, she had to leave the villa and say goodbye to Malcolm.

She knew fully well what that would mean for her, so she took a few deep breaths and nodded.

"Okay, I see." Janice had engraved Malcolm's words to her mind, cautioning herself against forgetting it in the future.

Pleased with her obedient response, Malcolm replied with an "okay", which was rare for him to do. He then went back into the bathroom, carrying the basin.

Janice took a few steps towards the dressing room to get changed into dry clothes, but on her way, she suddenly heard his voice.

"Why don't you come in?"

His cold and sharp tone made Janice's whole body tremble.

He... Was he finally accepting her?

When they got married, Malcolm swore that he would never have sex with her at home because he considered her filthy.

But was he letting her in this time?

Had he found out the truth and accepted her?

Janice walked in the bathroom with joy. Inside, she saw her husband's body barely concealed by steam. He looked tall and strong and his figure emitted a powerful aura.

She couldn't help but blush.

They had been married for two years and only then had she seen his body directly. Shyness and excitement swelled in her heart.

But before she could say anything, Malcolm's next words tore her heart.

"Come here and squat down," he ordered.

Squat... Squat down...

As Janice hesitated, Malcolm grabbed her by the hand and pulled her into the bathtub. Her soaked clothes clung tightly to her skin, outlining her busty figure.

Malcolm's eyes darkened as he began to caress her body. His actions were rude and not gentle at all, but Janice felt extremely happy. If this led to sex, she thought that it would be a great progress. Perhaps, if she worked harder, both of them could revert to how they were in the past, back to their sweet beginning.

But her dreams were immediately crushed when she heard the affectionate but steely voice of her husband.

"Stop dreaming. I won't have sex with you here at home."

The words rang in her ear.

"You're a filthy woman..."

Janice couldn't help but weigh his affection against his cruel words just now. She suddenly burst into tears.

"Malc, you always manage to hurt me..."

But Malcolm didn't even hear her sobs clearly.

Enduring the pain in her heart, Janice cleaned herself up and headed to the study. Since Malcolm had called her to the hotel as soon as she got off work, she was never able to finish her job. The director of the design department had told her to submit her final design tomorrow morning, so she had to stay up late and work overtime to finish the task.
