Chapter 9 A Handsome Man (Part Three)

When she heard that, Eliana was so shocked that she almost threw up all the food she had just eaten. How could he say such a thing to a woman he had only known for a few minutes? It was a good thing that she was not sensitive. Otherwise, she would probably be really terrified right now.

Looking at the man with such disdain, Eliana sneered, "You are such a playboy. Be careful. You may be impotent one day."

Hearing her response, the man was left utterly dumbfounded. He quickly turned around and looked at her. Although this woman was wearing heavy makeup, she seemed to be young and in good shape. Her only shortcoming was not having an ample chest.

Eliana noticed that the man was staring at her chest. Feeling so uncomfortable, she covered her chest with her arms and shouted, "Stop staring!"

The man looked away indifferently. "It's so flat. No one's going to bother looking at it."

"You..." Eliana was so furious that she was gritting her teeth. Not only was this man lustful, but he was also very rude.

"Sit still."

After saying that, the man stepped on the accelerator again and car drove away, passing by a few cars on the road.

Marcus hadn't caught up with them. Despite this, when she looked back, Eliana still got startled. It seemed that Marcus and the hooligans were still chasing after her.

"Hurry up! They're gaining on us!" Eliana shouted in panic.

"Calm yourself down. It's still a few years too early for them to try to catch up with me. Fasten your seat belt."

At this moment, Eliana had no choice but to trust this man since she didn't want to put her life at risk and Abby was still waiting for her back at home. There was a very sharp turn up ahead, and the man managed to make a swift turn. Eliana was so terrified and kept screaming the whole time. She couldn't help but wonder if this man had a death wish or something. Why did he make a turn here? Her whole body kept trembling in fear. If she didn't fasten her seat belt, she probably would've been thrown out of the vehicle by now.

By the time Marcus finally caught up with them, the man had already made a U-turn and brushed past them and was now going the opposite direction.

Marcus wanted to make a U-turn as well to try to go after her, but it was a very sharp turn. Unfortunately, he didn't have the skills necessary to make a turn here without getting hurt. In the end, he and the hooligans could only clench their fists and curse. Seeing the woman who wrecked his car get away right under his nose almost drove Marcus crazy.

The car was going so fast that she could hardly tell where they were when she looked outside. Eliana suddenly remembered a scene where a white car was driving on the road. The people inside the car were her, her twin sister, and her mother. Her mother told them that she was going to take them to see their father whom she had never met before. On that day, both she and her sister were very excited and kept asking their mother what their father looked like and if he was handsome.

When they took a turn, a large truck appeared on the other lane, but there seemed to be something wrong with the truck because it just kept going faster and faster. As a result, the car had a head-on collision with the large truck, causing both vehicles to fall into the sea.

This was a scene that she wished she would never recall in her life, but now it just cropped up in her mind again.

Recalling such a traumatic experience, Eliana couldn't help trembling in fear.

The man noticed that her face had turned pale. Thinking that she was just feeling cold, he pressed the button to close the roof so that the wind couldn't come in.

"Are you all right?" the man worriedly asked.

"I...I'm fine." The man's voice managed to pull her back to reality from a memory that was filled with blood and tears.

After what felt like an endless drive, the car finally pulled over by the seaside. The first thing she did after getting out of the car was wash her face with the sea water to calm herself down.

She had just been in a really dangerous situation. And she couldn't begin to imagine what could've happened if she got caught by Marcus and those hooligans.

The second she raised her head, she saw a tissue being handed over to her. When she looked up, she saw a pair of slender arms and a beautiful face.
