Chapter 6 Escape

Marilyn really wanted to spray a mouthful of salt soda on this man's face. Their rich and noble people given birth to a baby was as easy as buying vegetables on a street, is that it? They could have a baby as long as they wanted?

But she didn't have any other choice under the current situation. For Kendrick, her opinion didn't matter at all.

Her father's life was in his hands, and she was like a fish on a chopping block, no matter she would be steamed or braised in soy sauce, it's all up to Kendrick. Now she dared not refute.

But as expected, Kendrick left immediately. On the second morning, when she got up early, Kendrick already had gone. The housekeeper told her that Kendrick would be away for three months and asked her not to worry too much.

Marilyn was definitely not worried about him! If only Kendrick could be gone for a year and a half without coming back!

If he came back again, maybe he would found that Marilyn had caused a lot of trouble.

Not long after Marilyn knew that Kendrick had left, a large sum of money was suddenly transferred to her bank card which had a fixed income of 2500 dollars per month. Marilyn counted the number and the several zero followed behind. She didn't dare to dream that she had so much money. She shook her mobile phone with her trembling hands. She was so excited that she almost burst out the tears.

It was too generous of Kendrick. Wasn't he afraid that she would sneak away with the money and never come back?

He still remembered that she had cheated him tens of thousands of dollars before, but now he was so generous, why?

Marilyn had thought that her comfortable life would come after Kendrick left. After living in the Si Family's villa for a few days, Marilyn realized that her idea was too naive!

Kendrick wished he could have spies around her every time. Every move of Marilyn was monitored by spies from different places.

Even when she was basking in the sun in the garden, the housekeeper would walk a few circles in front of her from time to time. He even seemed to come over to feel her breath, as if he was afraid that Marilyn would commit suicide with the sun light.

She was not a vampire. She couldn't be killed by sunlight!

What Marilyn ate every day was carefully matched by nutritionists, and even the amount of the food was calculated. There were six or seven nutritionists around her, let alone the people in the kitchen.

Marilyn felt like she was living in a dream, just as she was the princess in ancient time.

What's worse, she suspected that there was brain waves communication between Kendrick and the servants. It was a flawless connection. In other words, Kendrick had installed the omnidirectional camera without dead angle on her!

The nutritious food was well matched, but these things cooked with less oil and less salt. For Marilyn, who was used to eating junk food, this kind of tasteless food would be a ruthless torture to her taste bud.

Two days had passed. Not only didn't Marilyn feel that her nutrition was well balanced, but she also felt that her steps were unsteady and dizzy. She was in urgent need of junk food to renew her life.

In the evening, when the servants had fallen asleep, Marilyn quietly fumbled out of her room and sneaked into the kitchen, intending to find something to eat in the fridge to satisfy her craving for food.

As soon as she opened the door of the fridge and found a can of drink, the new phone that Kendrick bought for her began to vibrate crazily in her pocket.

Marilyn turned on her phone and saw a message from Kendrick. "What are you looking for?"

She was so frightened that she immediately turned around to take a look. She almost suspected that Kendrick had come back. He was hiding somewhere and looking at her coldly. She even thought that when she opened the door of the fridge, she could see that Kendrick was hiding in the fridge to scare her. She was so scared that she stood up with sweat all over her body.

This was not a romantic drama. It was just a ghost movie!

Marilyn looked at it for a long time but didn't find anything unusual. She was wondering what was going on.

Soon, she received another message from Kendrick. "Don't look at it. There is a camera in the fridge."

Marilyn angrily closed the door of the fridge and thought that the phone was on the head of Kendrick. She poked the phone hard and replied, "Don't you have a job? Why do you stare at the camera every day? I won't tear down your house!"

"I just happened to see you. Don't play tricks."

There were only nine words from the message, and these words also reminded Marilyn that she was just a tool to give birth to a baby for Kendrick. He asked people to look at her not because he cared about her, but because he was afraid that she would run away.

Somehow, she felt a sense of loss. She sighed and went back to the bedroom dejectedly, lying straight on the bed.

It was a sleepless night.

More than a month later, [顾妙玲] found that she wasn't born in a wealthy family at all. It was okay for her to live for one or two days. Finally, one noon, when the people around her were busy, Marilyn quietly escaped from the garden.

Like a bird freed from a cage, Marilyn was so excited that her heart was about to jump out of her chest. As soon as she walked out of the door, she began to run wildly.

The place where Kendrick lived was a villa in the mountain. It would take her at least twenty minutes to get to the place where she could take a taxi. When Marilyn's legs were about to break, she finally saw a road sign not far away.

She got on the taxi, out of breath. She patted her chest and tried to breathe smoothly. "What's wrong with rich people? Aren't they afraid of breaking their legs when they live so far?"

The driver frequently turned his head to look at Marilyn from the rearview mirror, as if he was very curious about her identity.

Fearing that Kendrick's men would catch up with her, Marilyn kept looking in the rearview mirror after she told the driver the hospital's name. She was afraid that a large group of people would jump out from behind and push her to the ground as if she was a criminal.

"Please drive faster, master. I'm in a hurry."

The driver stared at the rearview mirror with a serious face and said in a deep voice, "Little girl, are you targeted by the pyramid selling organization? Don't be afraid! I'll take you to the police station now! "

After saying that, the taxi drifted away and made a brake mark on the ground. It was about to turn around and rush to the nearest police station.

Marilyn gesticulated with her hands and said, "No, no! It's my, well, my husband... "

The driver's car drifted back to the right track again. He still nodded seriously and said, "No need to explain. I got it."
