Chapter 10 Dan's Scheme

The four people present fell into silence.

Dan's return eased the anger in the living room a little.

"Shirley, what are you doing here?" The smile on Dan's face faded when he saw Shirley.

"Honey, you're back." Haley's soft voice was full of complaints. Her tearful eyes made Dan's heart melt.
