Chapter 8 Almost Nude

The three girls were currently playing beach ball when Sheena suddenly paused.

"Holy cow!!! When did Chad get those abs?" she exclaimed with wide eyes.

"Yeah, right?" Yan drooled, her eyes trained at Jordan as she spoke. "Although, I'm willing to be stranded on an island if I have Jordan to accompany me. So yummy!"

Raven laughed so hard at how her two friends were behaving. "Well for me, the best looking most macho among all of them is definitely the last one walking in," she cheekily declared as she saw her father just behind Jordan.

At the joke, the girls laughed in unison.

"Oh right. Raven, I guess you weren't kidding when you said that Jordan doesn't like you," Sheena blurted out, changing the topic.

Raven looked at her with inquiring eyes.

"Chad introduced himself to Jordan last night as something like this. -Hi, I'm Chad. And you must be Raven's brother-" Yan interrupted, copying Jordan's tone and gloomy face.

"Oh, right. I heard that too. Jordan answered like this. 'Who told you I'm her brother? She's not my sister, and we're not related at all!'"

Raven could only listen as the two told her what exactly happened last night while she was drunk. The more she heard, the more her frown deepened as she felt bitter.

"Why would I care for him, much less even bother with him?" she sighed. "He can hate me as much as he wants. So what? I've done nothing wrong."

She huffed. It was only a good thing that she'll be leaving soon. She'll finally not see that sour face of his for years!

Shaking her head, Raven went off to the beach and walked up to Chad. "Hey what's wrong? Are you okay?" she asked, seeing Chad just staring at her without even blinking.

"Oh yeah... I thought I saw a Goddess," Chad teased with a roguish smile. "Do you need anything?"

Raven smiled. This guy really loved to banter around. She's used to it, of course. He was fun to be with, and she really enjoyed his company.

Slapping his shoulder, she laughed, "Stop that, Mr. Hunk. Give me a bottle of soda!" Taking the bottle off his hands, she was still laughing when she moved to sit on a beach chair. It was there that she suddenly bumped into Jordan. "Oops sorry..." she said, not even bothering to look at the man as she sat on the chair.

Silently, she grabbed her snack and turned to her father, who was currently sitting on another beach chair by her side. She moved, failing to see just how gloomy Jordan looked as she left.

"Father, aren't you going to swim?" Raven asked, completely ignoring Jordan who had seemingly moved to sit on the nearest beach chair beside her.

"I'll do so later," Senior Choi answered as he rose up and checked on his phone. After which, he looked up, noticing how his son was holding a towel. "Is that for Raven? You brat! You're so slow! Go on and give it to her instead of just standing there like a statue," he scowled.

Hearing the altercation, Raven looked at Jordan, who simply handed her the towel.

"Thanks," she said, but she was still not in the mood to even smile at him. Instead, she just continued to eat at her own pace.

Senior Choi shook his head at the utter trainwreck happening in front of him. 'So slow!' he thought as he looked at his son, who looked extremely uneasy at what just happened.

Shrugging he returned to his phone, a wicked grin appearing on his face as he swiped at his spoils. He had taken various photos of the group, mostly of his daughter Raven. He was saving these for future use. Already, he was busy thinking about all the favors he could ask of his son in exchange for each one of these photos.

Having finished with her snack, Raven once again backed herself up into the water. This time, together with Chad.

"Son, you should also enjoy your time here. What's up with that unpainted face of yours?" Senior Choi couldn't help but comment.

"What's up with you? Why would you let her wear so little? She's almost nude!" Jordan incredulously asked back, completely ignoring the question.

Senior Choi didn't even need to respond as he heard Jordan call his assistant on the phone. In just ten minutes, Lou arrived with paper bags containing rash guards of various designs and sizes.

"I'll call Raven here. You can give this to her!" Jordan scolded his father as he handed him the new set of swimwear. "Can you at least be a little stricter towards her?"

Senior Choi was left with his mouth opened in a daze, watching as Jordan left to join Raven in the water. Looking to his side, he saw Nanny Rong approaching. "Nanny Rong, who does that brat think he is to order me around? Am I not his father or what?"

The older woman didn't respond.
