Chapter 12 Unwanted Intrusion

/ 1

As Elizabeth, Elvie, and Jasmine made their way towards the Alpha's mansion, Elvie's mind buzzed with an idea. She turned to her mother and sister, a spark of mischief in her eyes.
"Wait," Elvie said, her voice filled with anticipation. "Before we head to the Alpha's house, I have an idea. Let's make a stop at Carla's place first."
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow, curious about her daughter's sudden change of plans. "Why Carla's house, Elvie?"
Elvie's lips curled into a mischievous smile. "Because, Mother, if we want to make a significant impact and gather support against this marriage, we need to ensure that Carla is on our side. She has a strong influence over the pack, and her disagreement could sway others to join our cause."
Jasmine nodded in agreement, recognizing the strategic value of Elvie's suggestion. "That's true, Mother. Carla's support could be instrumental in gaining more opposition to the wedding."
Elizabeth contemplated the idea for a moment before nodding in agreement. "Very well, Elvie. Let's pay Carla a visit and share the news with her. If she shares our concerns, she can use her influence to rally others who may oppose this marriage."
With their revised plan in place, Elizabeth, Elvie, and Jasmine redirected their path towards Carla's house. Excitement and determination fueled their steps as they envisioned the possibility of gathering a significant opposition force against the union of Andrew and Mara.
Carla was in the living room when their servant tell her that she have a guest, she saw Elizabeth, Elvie and Jasmine, they are not close so she was curious why there are there.
Her heart pounded as she heard the servant announce the arrival of unexpected guests. Elizabeth, Elvie, and Jasmine stood before her, their presence causing a surge of curiosity and concern. Carla observed them cautiously, aware that their relationship hadn't been particularly close.
Elvie, unable to contain her urgency, stepped forward and spoke with a mix of determination and desperation. "Carla, we need your help. As Andrew's current girlfriend, you have the power to influence his decisions. The wedding between Andrew and Mara is imminent, and we cannot let it happen."
Carla's eyes widened in disbelief and anger. She clenched her fists, feeling betrayed by Mara's alleged actions. "What? Mara is a liar! She told me she was going to talk to the Alpha and end this agreement. How could she do this? How could Andrew agree to marry her?"
Elizabeth, sensing Carla's frustration, softened her tone. "Carla, we understand your anger, but we need your support now more than ever. You have the potential to sway Andrew's decision. We can't let Mara become the Luna of the pack. You were meant to be the future Luna, the one who brings power and influence to our family."
Elizabeth, Elvie, and Jasmine exchanged glances, relief flickering in their eyes. They had found an ally in Carla, someone who could challenge Mara's intentions and protect their family's interests.
Elvie asked, "Carla, do you want to go with us to the Alpha's mansion to talk about it?"
Carla quickly agree.
Elvie's suggestion resonated with Carla, and she nodded in agreement. "Yes, Elvie, I'll go with you. We need to confront Andrew and Alpha Troy about this matter. They need to know the truth about Mara's deception."
Carla's heart raced as she prepared herself mentally for the confrontation. She felt a surge of determination, fueled by the desire to protect her position and her family's ambitions. The thought of Mara scheming her way into the pack's hierarchy infuriated her, and she was ready to take action.
Together, Carla, Elizabeth, Elvie, and Jasmine embarked on their journey to the Alpha's mansion. The tension in the car was palpable as they discussed their strategy and rehearsed what they would say. Carla was resolved to make her voice heard and ensure that the truth prevailed.
Upon arriving at the Alpha's mansion, Carla stepped out of the car with a sense of purpose. She straightened her posture and steeled herself for the forthcoming confrontation. As they approached the grand entrance, Carla's determination grew stronger.
Inside the mansion, they were greeted by servants who led them to a waiting area. Carla's heart pounded with anticipation as she exchanged glances with Elizabeth, Elvie, and Jasmine. They were united in their cause, ready to challenge the decisions that threatened their family's ambitions.
Moments later, they were escorted into a grand meeting room where Alpha Troy and Andrew awaited them. The room fell silent as Carla entered, her presence commanding attention. She locked eyes with Andrew, a mix of anger and hurt in her gaze.
Carla took a deep breath and began to voice her concerns, her words filled with conviction. "Alpha Troy, Andrew, I need to talk to you about the wedding between Andrew and Mara. There's something you need to know. Mara has deceived us all. She promised me she would end this agreement, but now she is trying to steal my place as the future Luna."
Alpha Troy's expression hardened as he listened intently to Carla's words. Andrew appeared taken aback, his eyes flickering with confusion and doubt. The weight of Carla's accusations hung in the air, waiting for a response.
Carla continued, her voice steady yet laced with emotion. "I love Andrew, and I have always envisioned us together, leading our pack as Luna and Alpha. Mara's intentions are not genuine. She is manipulating the situation for her own gain. I urge you to reconsider this marriage, to see through her facade and understand the consequences of your decision."
Alpha Troy and Andrew exchanged a disappointed glance, their expressions reflecting a mixture of surprise and disillusionment. Alpha Troy, with a heavy sigh, broke the silence, his voice laced with disappointment.
"Carla, I am truly disappointed in your words and actions. Your desire for power and your willingness to tear others down to achieve it have become evident. I had hoped that you would understand the importance of love and genuine connection in a marriage, rather than solely focusing on status and position."
