Chapter 4 Episode 04

ALLISON'S P.O.V.

I looked at the photo in shock. If Orion finds out that she's actually my step-mother, I was as good as dead. I put everything back in place and pushed the box underneath the bed. It was difficult to accept, but my entire life was actually on the line.

He must not find out about... A sharp pain in the corner of my abdomen struck me like a blade and my eyes became blurry with tears.

"What the hell is going on?" I whispered to myself, but I felt relieved of the pain, perhaps it was just... The pain hit me again, this time harder, and I found it hard to breathe

The pain increased and tears rolled down my eyes slowly, I couldn't help it. It felt as though something or rather someone was stabbing me with a needle continuous.

"Arghh!" I screamed at the top of my voice as another wave of pain hit me like a wrong. I needed to get out of here.

I pulled myself on my feet while trying so hard to work as the pain didn't reduce. My heartfelt heavy, and my wolf whimpered so loud that it caused my body to hurt. What the hell was going on?

I heard the door open and I looked up to see Francis and just then I lost balance as the pain continued, which made me sob out loudly, I couldn't bare the pain anymore

"Allison!" I heard my name so close yet so far.

Everything became double, I could barely control my sight as I slowly lost breath. It felt as though I was on a thread of life and death, I felt myself being carried up, and I blinked severally to see Francis panicking.

"Allison! Allison, can you hear me?"

"I... It's hurts... So much" those were the only words that came out of my mouth, I couldn't speak any longer and slowly my sight became blurry, and I was greeted with darkness as I passed out in his arms.

My eyes flew open as I gasped and met eyes with a white ceiling, which made me furrow my eyebrows confused. A beeping sound pierce through my ears and I felt the need to knock that machine down, then I realized I was in a hospital.

"Can't we at least do something to..." Francis trailed off as he walked into the room with a doctor, and he met eyes with me, "... You're awake!" He rushed to me as he began to check if I was alright.

"Stop it, I'm fine. What happened?" I asked, and could see the worrisome look on his face which made me confused, "... Francis tell me, what happened" He let out a sigh and looked at the doctor who immediately walked out of the room.

"I'm sorry, Allison. The reason you hard those pain is because of Orion"

"Alpha? How is that even possible, he wasn't even..." I trailed off as realization hit me and I looked at me, "... No, it can't be. I know he hates me but not this much, please tell me it isn't true"

"Orion slept with another woman, Allison. How long have you been hiding the fact that you both have been mates?" He looked at me dead in the eyes as my heart broke into pieces knowing he was sleeping with someone else.

Which only meant I was nothing to him after all. Just the woman who will give me a son, I had a hope that he might change his mind, but I was just a mistress he hated and nothing else.

"I've known since I came here, the first time I saw him, I knew it. I thought perhaps if we had sex he will recognize it and all, but he never did, then you told me about the curse and I realized I might have a little hope in breaking the curse on him and making him feel the mate bond, making him see me, but now everything is gone, he hates me after all"

"That's not the end of things, Allison, you could still confront him and..."

"I already did, and I ended up in a cell. Accept it Francis I can not bring him back or break the curse, I am bound to him, bound by pain that I had no right to show" Tears rolled down my eyes as my breath shortened a bit, I could help but feel it.

The hope that is slipping away from me like a jet, my heart hurting, how did I even fall in love with a man that all he did was hurt me?

"You still have your freedom, Allison. You're pregnant" I looked at him as shock drive its way through my body, and he smiled a bit.

"I'm what?"

"You're pregnant, Allison. We aren't sure if it's a girl or boy, but we do hope it's your freedom..."

"I have no freedom. It's just a child who will set me free of his clutches and not of the world's. One step into the woods and we both know I am as good as dead, and I can't go back to my pack because that isn't my home, it's simply a place I grew up in"

"Allison..."

"Francis, promise me that you won't tell Alpha anything about this. I'll tell him when the time is right, but please keep shut " I looked at him with home, and he let out a sigh.

"Ok, I won't tell. I promise"

"Can we go back to the house?"

"Sure" I stood up from the bed, and he helped me walk out of the hospital before driving me to the house

We stepped in, and I could tell he wasn't home yet, which made me confused, but his aura suddenly creeped up upon me and I turned around and saw him standing with a woman by his side.

"Francis!" He called out and shivers rushed down my spine.

"Alpha, I..."

"I'm getting married in two days, get everything ready" My heart scattered like a hammer hit against a piece of glass
