Chapter 2 Death and love

David was one among a guy I have never see him in military since no one has time to watch what others are doing in military camp you are struggling to survive,struggling to go back alive my mom was always worried about me and I was giving her hopes that I will be fine so she doesn't need to worry about anything I will be home safe so I was very cautious with any activity that we were assigned to do in military.

David was a tall man a very tall one he belonged to a noble family but I didn't care about that and I didn't even want him to be my guy because in military camps when they notice you are dating they will beat you so much to an extent fear the real world.

David came next to me in the camp and said " i always see you alone why?" And I told him that I like it, he asked " what makes you feel that way" I told him that I hate interacing with people,I told him that I am too afraid of people more than anyone in the world he laughed and said "people are always good don't be afraid " we had a small talk and it was nice and he came to me with a gift it was just a sweet i liked it and said " thanks " with a low voice and bowing my head with shy.untill now I was still a virgin I have never engaged sex with any man among all those I was too afraid and also i didn't want drama in the camp since if they notice you,you will never forget what they will do to you.

But I was crushing on David a very muscular guy,tall and black i really liked him now and I wanted him to feel the same too,I know he was feeling the same to me but he was not ready to say that infront of me.it was always fun when I meet with him during our free times in the camp we could stay together and talk and laugh together but I was still talking to John telling him how I am doing in Millitary he was waiting for the three months to end so that he can see me and I was okay

My bedmate selina was sick,it was very hard for the soldiers to believe that someone is sick they all took the action that you are pretending,but my bedmate was serious sick but no one knew about that so she was always given painkillers whenever she said that she was sick,

I was also giving her support telling her that few days remaining for us to go back home so she will be treated perfectly and she was always agreeing with me giving me a good smile and u was satisfied with that smile on her face but she was dying deep down her soul,she was already rotten inside her body but no one knew that not even her,I won't remember this day seminar she was sick as usual and I told her to take her pain killers that she was given by the camp doctor,she took it but nothing worked her body temperature rises and the camp matrons insisted for her to rest since she has already take pain killers.

Selina my bedmate slept and I helped her to cover her legs with the bedsheets she was burning but she felt cold,I had to support her talking to her giving her hope that few days has remained so she just have to wait for a little moment soon we will be home selina was always smiling at me she was never showing a face of loosing hope at last she fell asleep and I let her sleep,I climbed bed and let her rest now

Early in the morning I prepared water for selina to take shower and assist her to the hospital only patients were allowed to visit the hospital so I went back to other daily activities of the camp and we met in the evening I asked her how is she doing and she said she feels okay I was relieved with that answer but she was lying to me.

We lined as usual so that we can be counted and be let free to go to sleep selina stood up to talk to a certain matron she wanted to tell her that she was not feeling okay she just took 6 steps and fell down I can say that I saw how she died,since she died infront of everyone,after she fell people wen't to pick her up but it was late she was silent she didn't say anything or move she was there just silent.i was afraid to approach her since my thoughts were right though I didn't share them with others,the camp ambulance came and take her but guess what it was already late.

I climbed bed that night alone no one in my double decker,no one was there since selina was taken by an ambulance so I said maybe I had bad thoughts she will come back tomorrow let me hold my breath and be strong she will be back tomorrow,the next day reached and after I woke up I did my personal cleanes and some selina's clothes as I supposed she will come and find them clean so that she can wear them,i was on my bed thinking on how can I get a lot of water to wash the clothes for both of us two soldier ladies came to my bed and asked " are these selina's stuffs?" Pointing at seminars trunker and I responded " yes" they didn't want to talk more they took her trunker and everything that belongs to her.

In Millitary when someone dies you are not told but if you see her properties are taken it means she is dead and the want to send back her body to her home.at first I said nothing people looked at me since they knew what was going on " I didn't want this to happen " I said to myself with a low voice tears coming out of my eyes.
