Caterina reports back to the office after she gets off work, all exhausted and in disappointment.
"Good evening sir," Caterina said as she opened the door.
"How is the mission going?" SAC James asked.
"Great sir, but Daniele De Rizzo seems indifferent to me, and it seems like he is just a cold billionaire and nothing else, but he has a weird behavior." She decided not to report about when Alessandro asked him not to mess with him.
He sighed. "There has to be something, do everything you can to find something, and make sure no one suspects you, and stop coming to work for a while if you don't have any information."
"Yes sir, have a good day," she responded before walking out of his office.
Sophia walked up to her. "How is your first day?"
"Bad-" she responded as she sat down on her desk.
Sophia's face lit up in excitement. "Bad, why is it bad, is he really that cruel?"
Caterina sighed. "Yes, he is cold, and it won't be easy for me to get anything from him that easily," she took her bag and stood up.
"Wait and drive me home," Oscar said as he walked into the office.
"No, I have to decline," she said and immediately left the office. She had to execute a good plan to find something, even if it was so little.
Caterina woke up feeling tired and exhausted, she yawned and scratched her hair with her hand lazily, she struggled to stand up and took a shower before taking a cab to work.
She knocks on his door, and smiles when she does not hear any response from inside. "That's good."
She opened the door and started checking his office. She checked everywhere but could not find anything. She bit her lip all exhausted. "Where could it be?"
"What are you looking for," Daniele's voice came from behind her as he walked towards her.
"I–I dropped my earrings here yesterday," she said with an awkward smile as she adjusted her clothes.
Daniele dropped his bag and walked even closer to her, making her fall on his chair. "Is that what you are really looking for?" He questioned again with a straight face.
Caterina swallowed hard, and bit her lip nervously. "Ye– yes."
He leaned even more. "You were not putting on earrings yesterday," he said sit her on the table. "Now tell me what you are really looking for."
"Nothing," she acted indifferent and looked away, trying to get off the table.
He pinned her down. "Nothing?" He smirked. "Then it will be nothing if I kill you," his voice became more bold and scary.
Caterina's cheek flushed as she looked away, her eyes drifting to the floor. "I know you can't do that, and I will also stay away from your office."
"You bet I can," he smirked and gently moved his hand to her thigh. As his hand brushed against her thigh, Caterina breath caught in her throat. She forced a smile, trying to play it cool, but her heart was racing
Caterina's eyes snapped toward Daniele, her heart racing, not knowing his next move. "I will," she said smiling.
He scoffed. "Don't mess with me Caterina. You can leave." The air seemed thick as Daniele voice dropped to a menacing voice.
Caterina stood up immediately and ran to her desk.
She took a deep breath and looked at her shirt that was already unbuttoned, which was enough to see her boobs. She wondered if it was his doing as well.
She refused to take any more action until it was lunch when he came out from his office.
"Let's go and have lunch," he said.
"Lunch?" She asked, in surprise.
"Yes, don't you check my schedule," he folded his hand and walked to her desk. "I thought that you are a professional with experience, but you don't look experience to me."
"Yes, yes," she quickly picked up her table, and saw that he indeed had a lunch meeting. She feels even more awkward in this situation.
"I am sorry for not checking."
"Yes, you should be," he responded before walking away, and she ran along him.
She feels like a fool when she is around him, before she used to be a brave and intelligent agent, find evidence and take down a company easily but here, she is more like a fool not knowing what she is doing.
Caterina opened the door for him, before getting into the back side with him.
She keeps on beeping at him from the other side, she is just so curious about him, to her he does not look like someone that can kill, he looks so natural to believe.
"Why are you staring, do you have something to say?" He asked, with his attention still on his phone.
She shook her head and looked away, she felt embarrassed for being caught.
The driver drove them to a private restaurant, which belongs to the LDTM group.
Caterina and the driver waited outside the private room while Daniele went inside.
"Father Francesco," he called as he sat down.
A man that looked like he was in his early 60's was sitting down across, he had a straight face and expression so cold it is impossible to read his mind, or know what he is saying. "You are here?"
"Yes father," he responded. "Do you have anything?"
"Yes," he responded and took out a box. "Here it is, kill him, if he gets in the way of the operation."
Daniele nodded. "We will get it done, don't worry about anything."
"How is the case going?" he asked as he sipped wine.
"Alessandro has cleared up the case, and everything is settled now."
Father Francesco nodded, and scoffed and he saw Caterina shadow leaning on the door from outside. "I can see that you hired another reckless secretary, did you do a background check?"
Daniele looked back and sighed. "I need to have someone like her by my side to look natural."
"Don't do anything stupid when she is with you," he warned.
Daniele nodded, as a reply as he continued to eat, for some reason he found her cute and he wanted to get to know her more. She seems stupid, but she doesn't look like it.
The door cracked slightly, as if been pushing by an unseen hand. A figure burst into the room, his gun glinting in the dim light
Caterina widened her eyes as he saw the man charging towards Daniele.
