Chapter 9 Adria Sabotaged the search party

Adria stood behind the walls, her body lingering on the wall, her eyebrows raised in interest of what the armies might be talking about, she propped a foot up as her ears strained to listen to what the armies were talking about. "I have to do this," She muttered to herself, Her fingers tightened into a fist. The Armies of Sivercrest pack were a few meters away from her, as they ducked their heads talking about something, their legs straightened with knees uncrossed, assembling in a circle as Alden walked towards them with a purposeful stride.

As Adria leaned her body forward slightly, her foot caught on a small stone and she tried to bite back her grunt of pain, but it was too late as one of the armies turned his head toward the voice and Adria tried to hide herself inside the wall, but the army was so interested in what they were discussing and didn't bother to check what is behind the sound. Adria let out a gasp that she never knew she was holding. "Why is our Luna spying on people," a deep baritone voice said from behind her. Her heart raced, and her body flinched as she jerked her body to the wall. "Oh my! ... look at that, you look like someone is pointing a sword at you," the baritone voice said amidst a stifle of laughter. "Oh Alex, you scared me!"Adria whispered, putting her hand on her racing chest. She pulled Alex by his arm to a corner while her eyes gazed around the surroundings to see if anyone was watching. She pulled his shirt, dragging him closer to herself. Her eyes squinted at him and she loosened his belt, deepening her hand into his trousers, she grabbed his cock and slowly caressed it sensually, her blue piercing eyes staring intently at him while she bit her lips softly. Alex rolled back his head, shivers ran down his spine, and his eyes fluttered as he moaned softly. Adria's hand brushed his hair slowly, her voice above a whisper, "Now tell me..." "They will be heading south when the moon starts to go down," Alex shivered and let out a breath. Adria removed her hand from his trousers, she patted his chest lightly and her lips pressed into a thin smile. *** The evening sun was casting long shadows. And the Silvercrest pack was already on their way to search for Dana. As they began their walk, Adria hid from behind watching them in her carriage, she furrowed her brow and tightened her fist, "I'm never going to let that wretched girl come back to this pack, I'm not going to allow her to take my place again." She signaled for her rider to divert the carriage North. *** Just as the armies arrived in the middle of the woods, other werewolves who were not part of them eloped from their behind. They were very aggressive, they began to change into their wolf form as their fingers started turning into sharp claws and they were gnarling in anger. Their sharp claws dug into the skins of Silvercrest Armies and blood gushed out from their body. They were wrenched in pain, unable to fight back the rogues who appeared too strong as rogues. They killed almost all the Silvercrest armies until some began to run away. After they finished their attack, someone eloped from behind the woods, her cloak covering her face so that anyone couldn't see her face. "Well done!, Leader of Rogues," she clapped her hand gently. The leader of the Rogue nodded," You know the deal right." "Of course." As the Rogues walked away, Adria heard the rustling of leaves behind her, she turned and she noticed a figure that moved swiftly. Her heart raced, her forehead creased With anxiety, someone might have seen her. As she walked forward to where she heard the sound from, she heard a gurgling sound from the direction. She stepped back into flight mode, her heart began to race and the hair at the back of her neck stood up. A figure emerged from inside the wood, she wanted to scream. Before she saw that it was just one of the Rogue, his fingers were covered in blood. He nodded to her and Adria nodded back, she went further in that direction to take a better look and saw that it was one of the armies. He might have seen her face, She thought. " serves him right," she muttered to herself while she walked closer to the Rogue patting him on his shoulder. "Good job!, You will be rewarded for this." *** It was nighttime in the Silvercrest pack, Alden had just heard the news about his armies. He sat dejectedly on his throne, with a slumped posture burring his head in his hands, his stomach quivering as his mind reflected on all the armies he lost. He bit his lip sorrowfully, his eyes reddened."What have I done to deserve all these," he lamented. *** Adria walked into dejected Alden lying face up on his bed. Alden stared obliviously at the ceiling, his hands intertwined on his abdomen. Adria pulled out a chair and sat in front of the dresser, she pursed her lips, and her muscles were tensed. Alden's aching voice made her stop midway as she wanted to clean up her face, "where have you been?" She shuddered, "Huh?...," she blurted out nervously. "I was just outside watching the sunset," her chin deep into her chest adopting a slump posture, and she began to play with her fingers under the desk. The room was thrown in silence for a while before Adria's voice broke it, " I heard what happened," she turned to face Alden, her gaze darting from him to the wall. She stood up to meet him on the bed, sitting beside him. "It's not your Fault Alden, don't let this weigh you down," she cupped his face and kissed him on his forehead. Alden sat up and hugged Adria, his body cold, with heaviness in the chest. Adria pat him on his back lightly as her thoughts applaud her achievements. " This is just the beginning, you will never find Dana and you will never be able to continue being the Alpha of Silvercrest pack." These thoughts echo through her mind, her lips spread into a thin line and she smiles mischievously, her hand continuing to tap Alden gently.
