Ananya tried to brush off her concerns, focusing on the love she shared with Vicky. But the seed of doubt had taken root. She began to notice little things – Vicky's evasiveness, his secrecy, and the mysterious calls. One evening, Ananya decided to confront Vicky. "Who's been calling you so often?" she asked, trying to sound casual. Vicky's smile faltered for a moment before he regained his composure. "Just work, babe. Nothing to worry about." Ananya wasn't convinced. She sensed there was more to it. But she let it slide, not wanting to ruin the evening. As the days passed, Ananya's doubts grew. She'd find Vicky's phone messages deleted, and he'd attribute it to his phone's auto-delete feature. She started to feel like she was losing touch with the man she loved. One night, Ananya woke up to find Vicky's side of the bed empty. She got up to find him standing by the window, staring at his phone. The glow of the screen illuminated his face, and Ananya saw a flicker of unease. "What's wrong?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Vicky turned, his eyes locking onto hers. "Just...just checking some messages." Ananya's heart sank. She knew he was hiding something...
