Chapter 3 2

"Don't be modest now, babe; we both know you are a wild one." He teased, making me smack his chest.

"What is wrong with you?" I laughed with an even deeper blush. I can't believe he just said that.

Our sex life was definitely more than I had ever experienced with anyone else before. He was gentle but dominating, and he had no shame in devouring every part of me. Vincent definitely woke up a part of me that I didn't know existed.

He was never rough or called me anything but sweet pet names, though. My mind sometimes wandered into being a little more submissive or role-playing in some crazy fantasy. I mostly blamed porn for that. It was not realistic, yet it made me curious.

Franco nodded to a man next to Vincent, then left. My eyes drifted back to Vincent, then moved slowly to the large presence in the room. Why was this man so scary-looking, and why was I afraid of him?

"This is my cousin, Caelum. We have a meeting soon, so I hope it's okay if he joins us for dinner." Vincent guided me to sit. I took a hard gulp, looking back into that man's eyes. They were so intense I felt a chill run through my body. Did he kill people for fun? He definitely had that serial killer look down perfectly.

"It's nice to meet you, Caelum." Once his name left my lips, his eyes looked over me, and then his jaw was visibly clenched. Was I not supposed to address him by his name?

He just nodded to me and then called over a waiter to order some drinks. Drinks for him and Vincent, not even bothering to ask if I wanted anything. That wasn't rude at all!

"How was your exam today?" Vincent asked, grabbing my hand to get my attention back on him. I'm sure he could sense my disapproval of his cousin.

"It was easy!"

"Easy? 60% of kids fail that class because of that exam."

"Well, I had an amazing study partner." I gave him a sexy smile. He came over a lot to study, but that was not what actually happened.

His gaze was as filled with lust as mine, and he laughed. "I adore researching this body," he said, giving my thigh a squeeze.

"Vincent! " I gently chided, nibbling on my lower lip. This guy was utterly shameless, particularly in my presence.

Before he could divert me further, I said, "You promised an explanation last night." I thought I explained myself very, very well last night.

" He winked at me and then addressed the waiter to order me a drink and all of our food. My food had never been ordered by him before. Fortunately, he chose my favorite dish from the menu, so I didn't disagree. I crossed my arms in disapproval and said,

"You didn't explain anything and since when do you order for me? " Perhaps I was a bit upset about it. With utter disdain, Caelum exclaimed, "Are you serious about this woman?" His eyes became even darker for some reason. He disliked me and the fact that I was dating Vincent.

What was everyone's issue? I cowered beneath his stern stare before turning to look back at Vincent. That guy is too much for me. If I talked to him, he would murder me before the day was over. "Are you in trouble?" I asked him.

"Impossible," he answered, grinning widely.

"In danger?"

"Always!" He raised his eyebrows at me as if it were a joke.

"Vincent, I'm telling the truth. This has turned into more than simply friends with benefits, even if we claimed there was no relationship. You strolled into that club last night as though you were on a mission to murder any guy who dared lay a finger on me.

It was only a strip club for a hen do. I wasn't even drinking. Then, with these huge, frightening guys, that man appeared and commanded everyone to halt. I said, "I may have slightly overreacted," as Caelum was one of those big, scary men. At home, bachelor parties are not conducted in this manner. You have nothing to worry about because the guys who came would never cause you any harm.

"I don't want to talk about this! Can we have our meal now?" His last statement was entirely commanding. I didn't think it was possible for the Vincent I knew to have that tone.

"No, we can't! You didn't provide me with any explanation. What did you anticipate a bachelorette party would be like? Vincent, this is the twenty-first century. We are not men's slaves. Remember women's rights! Vincent smiled at my outburst before whispering in my ear, "I know about women's rights." I also know that you belong to me! " He stared at me with such ownership in his eyes that it was a little frightening.

I believed that I belonged to him, but I never expected that it would imply that he was attempting to possess me. I shifted my gaze to Caelum after taking a big breath. As if he wanted my head to catch fire, his frigid blue eyes glared into it. I felt Vincent's hand brush my skin.

What the hell was his issue? "Baby, I apologized many times last night. I'd want to discuss my baby's day rather than my family, so can we move on from this now? I would never let anything happen to you; you are not in any danger. "I guarantee, okay?" He whispered to me, and his fingers gently made my flesh glow with delight. This is the Vincent I loved and longed for.

"Can you just tell me that everything is alright at home? I don't want to cause any problems or make drama for you." Was that man your father? Does he dislike you being with me? Should we end our relationship? "No!"

"No, what? No, he doesn't like it. "No, he isn't your father?"

"Stop!" he commanded, causing me to start.

"I don't like this, Vincent." I rose up abruptly.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"The bathroom, you asshole. Do I need permission now?" My eyes were ablaze with the way he was treating me. I also noticed the tiny grin on Caelum's face.

"No, I'm sorry. " He took a big gulp of his beverage and sat back down. I rolled my eyes and left the table. Vincent's family has not been to my liking thus far, and I am confident that they have not liked me either.
