Chapter 5 OMEGA'S POV

I sat on the cold floor of my small apartment, my body leaning against the wooden wall,.Lost in thought, thinking about what transpired between Princess Alaana and I. Although I enjoyed the sex, knowing fully well that I was going to be in trouble and I would surely be punished.I couldn't control myself the Mate bond was too strong. Then I heard heavy footsteps and it was Rylan. Anger was written all over his face.

Fear gripped me.

"You made a huge mistake, do you think sleeping with Alaana will make you the next Alpha King?Do you think you can challenge me and go with it?"

I looked up and glared at Rylan." I'm not challenging you, Rylan. The bond between us isn't something I chose. It is the will of the moon goddess and it is something you cannot break,no matter how hard you try." I said, with fear written all over my face.

Rylan grabbed my collar and pulled me close to him. His voice dropped to a dangerous whisper. "You're wrong. I can break it. I'll see you ruined, Williams. And once I'm done, you'll be kicked out of this Pack and Alaana will have no choice but to forget about you."

My wolf growled inside me, but I controlled myself, not wanting to give Rylan the

satisfaction of appearing scared. "You can threaten me with anything you want, but that bond is not something you can break. Alaana and I are connected, no matter what you do."

Rylan pushed me back with a growl, his eyes burning with frustration and anger. "Let's see how long you last, William. I'll make sure of it." Rylan said and left.

My heart was beating like drums in my chest. Fear surrounded me like a snake, growing with each passing second. I knew the risks. I already knew the consequences. But how could i deny the Mate bond? she's my Mate.

My fingers trembled as they ran through my unkempt hair. I could still feel her touch, still hear the whispered words we had both shared. Alpha Draven will never

agree to our bond. To him, I'm nothing.

I heard the sound of heavy footsteps in the halfway. A few moments after Rylan left, suddenly my door was opened, and two of Alpha Draven servants appeared, their eyes cold and unforgiving.

"Alpha Draven needs your attention now!," one of them said, taking my hand.

I didn't resist. It doesn't matter. My fate has already been decided.

On getting to Alpha Draven chambers.his gaze was fixed on me, everywhere was eerily quiet, like the silence that carried the weight of an impending storm. I stood before Alpha Draven, my heart pounding like a war drum. Here I was in front of the powerful wolf of the pack-Alaana's father.

At the side of him was Rylan, his arms crossed, a satisfied smile playing on his lips. He had won-or so he thought.

"You have been Mated to my daughter, the next Luna of this pack. It is a bond chosen by the Moon Goddess. Yes I know, his expression was full of furry and hate. "But I will not allow it."Said Alpha Draven.

A cold fear gripped my chest, though I had expected it. However, hearing the words from Alpha Draven himself made the weight of it unbearable.

"You have to reject Alaana. You are a weak, Omega slave, unworthy to lead this Pack."

Unworthy?. I held my chest in pain as my Wolf growled inside me.

"You are an Omega servant of this Pack. Alpha Draven said. "Alaana's future doesn't belong to her, it belongs to this Pack, her people. She must marry Rylan, the Beta son.its a union that will ensure strength and stability for this Pack."

I had always known my place -deep down I wished I was never Mated to Alaana, under the weight of the Alphas and Betas, who always saw me as a shadow in the background. But I dared to hope, to believe that the Moon Goddess had chosen me for something greater.

Now, that hope has been dashed under Alpha Draven orders.

Fingers curled around my thighs,my nails digging into my skin as frustration boiled within me. Was it really my fault that I was born as an Omega?Fate has bound me to Alaana, but was destined only to tear us apart? My heart ached, my Wolf unperturbed, it ached. The connection between me and Alaana wasn't just a mistake, it was real, something that kept me alive.

I clenched my hands tightly close to my side, my Wolf howling in defiance. "She's my Mate," I said, my voice steady but full of emotion. "You can't just erase that."

Alpha Draven eyes darkened."I can. I will." He came close to me towering over me. "You will reject Alaana and you're doing it before the Pack. You will sever the Mate bond and leave, but if you do not..." he let the threat hang in the air...the unspoken words were clear.

Rylan chuckled under his breath, savoring every second of my misery.

My breathing was shallow. Rejecting my mate? The very thought filled me with unbearable pain.i have felt her warmth, taste the fire of her touch. How could I willingly sever a bond that was created by the moon goddess?

But still, what choice did I have? If I go against Alpha Draven, the punishment won't be for me alone, it might affect Alaana as well.

Alpha Draven stared at me for a long moment before he dropped the final blow. "You must Reject Alaana, Williams, or I will ensure you're killed and no one will question me, you're just a servant of this Pack. So you have only one option left. You either Reject her or you'll be killed."

I'm just a...servant

A weak, powerless Omega who would never amount to anything.

No matter how much Alaana wanted me and no matter how much I loved her. I wasn't Beta's son. I was not someone Alpha Draven will ever trust to lead the Pack.

A lump formed in my throat as i fought the emotion that threatened to well up. I never wanted power, I never cared about titles or authority. All I wanted was a simple life.

But that dream was gone before it began.

I sighed, staring at the floor, feeling even more trapped than before. I had received an order to Reject her or i will be killed.

But how was i supposed to Reject the only thing that had ever made me whole.

I looked up to meet Alpha Draven, my entire world was collapsing around me. I only have one choice and it's to Reject her! Or Die.
