Chapter 5 Painful Revelation

"Hold on a minute...? My parents? "You're not_" at this point, she couldn't take it any longer. The truth was better than the lie. Her knees felt weak as she fell, using the wall as support.

Agatha looked at her, "Yes. Nuella... "I'm not related to you. "I'm just following your father's last wish to keep you safe from everyone," she stated.

Short of words to say, her eyes went bloodshot red, as tears pricked her eyes, so her whole life was a lie?

"Yes, Nuella. You were born with that syndrome. You have the ability to heal and control another werewolf power. "You are more powerful than you think and that is why I kept you hidden from the world. "If your enemies knew you were alive, you would have died a long time ago," Agatha explained.

Nuella wiped the tears that streamed down her eyes,

"So you're trying to tell me that I am cursed?" she asked. "You hid me from the world. "I lived like a loner just for my own selfish interests!" She fired back,

"What? "No, no, Nuella.... "I did everything to keep her safe. "You do not know what is waiting out there and trust me, you are not yet strong enough to face them all." She tried to come closer to her. Nuella took three steps backwards,

"Don't come close to me." She said with a lot of hate in her voice. "You lied to me." She said she just couldn't stand her, so she turned to leave.

"Nuella please, don't go anywhere...you can't be spotted by the Red Moon Pack!" Nuella halted in her tracks,

"Do I look like I care? "My life is pretty much useless anyway." She scoffed, walking out the door, running off with tears in her eyes. This was the worst birthday anyone could ever have.

"Nuella!!" Agatha called as she fell down in tears.

On the other side of the Winter woods, it lies deep in the forest just across the river that divides the packs from each other.

It was a pack that everyone knew. Their history, together with the Dark Moon pack, was a dirty one, and they were known for their brutality and love of intimation of other packs.

It was laid by the half-brother of Roland, Alpha Luca, who, in his ruthlessness, looked for a way to bring his brother down once and for all, but all his plans were all futile since there was nothing to pin him down with.

Seated in his chambers, he sat there after the army had just returned from the attack of yesterday. The Dark Moon pack was one of the packs that stood strong and shielded all other packs. Taking them down was like controlling the entire winter wood.

Jasper walked in his armor, which was covered in dust, from the encounter on the battlefield.

"Your majesty, the Shadowwood pack has fallen. "Our armies have marched into the Pack, gaining full control over the pack," he added, as he bowed on one knee.

"And what about Alpha Haden?" He asked with an evil smile,

"He is outside bound in chains," he added softly.

Luca stood up for his Majesty. He was a man with ruthless determination, his eyes like poison to those eyes met with.

He was just like Roland but not like Roland. Hile had a muscular build, which should possess power and charm. Aside from his traits of wickedness, he had a very nice smile which could melt a heart, but when that smile of his was turned into an evil smirk, it was more than deadly.

He and his brother both stayed at the Dark Moon Pack at the time his father was alive, and Luca, being the illegitimate child, had no place in being an Alpha, so he left the night. Roland was announced as the new Alpha of the Dark Wood pack, but it did not last for long as he killed the reigning Alpha of the Stonewood pack, casting a spell on everyone who took him as the next Alpha. With this new power, he fought hard against his own brother. Even though their father tried to make them come to good terms, it was just not possible.

And now he would take him down, just then the spy rushed in, falling to the ground.

"Your majesty, I come with good news. "We have found her." Luca automatically stood up from his chair in shock.

"Have you found her?" He asked again to be sure.

"Yes, your majesty," he added, "She lives deep in the woods with her adoptive mother, Agatha." He added, the name sounded familiar to him.

"Agatha?"

"Yes, Your Highness." Luca turned to Jasper,

"Is this the same Agatha we know?" Jasper nodded.

"What insolence!" He clenched his fist. He served as the last Alpha of the Alpha of the Stonewood pack, and escaped when he took over the pack, threatening to return with his worst nightmare.

"So she was my worst nightmare." he muttered to himself as he turned to Jasper,

"We need to find her before Roland gets to her first," he said, as the frown on his face deepened.

He knew the girl born in the blood moon had immense powers he could use against Roland, and he carved that power.

The night of the blood moon, he was just seven years old then when he overheard his father sending orders to eliminate the daughter, but after that he knew she wasn't dead, and took it upon himself to search for her, and now, he had found her.

"I want you to find her and bring her to me at once." He added, with a frown,

"Yes, Your Highness." The man said as he stood up and left with Jasper.

Luca walked down the throne, as he looked out the window,

"You just wait, Roland. "You wouldn't know what hit you," he said as he let out an evil smile.
