Chapter 9 Let's meet up

Narrators POV

" You really didn't have to drop me off ." Emily said without smiling.

" No big deal ." Gilbert replied .

" You shouldn't have done that back there , you know how much Maggie hates you." Gilbert continued

" It's okay I'm used to it " she said looking out the window.

" Still I could've handled it , my son's engaged to her daughter remember?" He said glancing at her then at the road .

" We were friends once ." She replied laying her head in the head rest. Then a silence ensued between them .

" Hey Emily I hope things don't get awkward between us ." Gabriel said breaking the silence .

" What d'you say that? " Emily asked closing her eyes with her arms crossed.

" You know .. that night at the club house ." He said taking his words slowly . Then she opened her eyes .

" We're both grown adults , it's fine ." She said . It was almost as of this woman had no human expressions. For the rest of the drive they didn't talk again .

" Let's meet later at my place , Eva can tag along ." He said to her as she stepped out to enter into her palace.

" Sure , I'll call the others ." She replied.

Emily , Gilbert , Eduardo , and Monica ( Ana's mum.) were all long time friends they've known each other since they could remember but we're shortly separated when they all married but strangely they reunited agaiywach if them with their children and no spouse, strange right? , but that was how the game worked , you can have but one weakness , your legacies, the one who would take after their might cartel business but they( the children) needed to be strong they needed to know what it meant in a battle ground and how to win a fight against any other cartel against them , so they decided , yes a school just one school to teach them every damn thing they need to know, how to spot fake ammunitions and drugs and at the same go in with their normal school classes it was a perfect to grow their business, trading their hoods through the school but under the perfect cover from the Authorities , with no one knowing what was really going in in the inside , but one thing was off. Emily , she was the only one who drastically changed when she got back , she had been a very beautiful and jovial being when. They were younger , but when she came back with three year old Eva? She became a savage queen .

" Hey mum." Eva said running down the stairs hugging her . The expressionless beautiful face transformed into the smiles of a loving mother .

" Luna ." She said ( full name Evaluna) hugging her back. " School's okay?" She asked , then Eva raised her head up.

" Well there's something I need to talk to you about ."

" Glad you could make it ." Gilbert said pulling Emily along .

" What's up Gills ." Eva said playfully as she gave him their signature handshake , for some reason they both flowed naturally , cause as Gilbert said Eva was the daughter he never had .

" What's up Eves ." He also said accepting the handshake. Gabriel walked lazily behind rubbing his eyes , he still had his bed head with his PJs , Eva couldn't help but stare at him right now , she knew she always had a secret crush on Gabi but that was when they were way younger, she wasn't sure about now , he had grown pretty fast and looked really mature now , with his young muscles standing out and she glanced at his abbs which were currently peeking out of his Pj's shirt which apparently wasn't buttoned well, finally his drowning blue eyes now glanced at her as her half yawned and half smiled , she laughed at how ridiculously cute he looked now .

" Eves why don't you go in with Gabi , your mum and I have a meeting with the rest ."

Eva posted her lips causing Gabriel to look at her with disgust .

" I thought we were gonna have a fun day .'Eva I said

Well Eva and Gilbert usually have this fun day where he'll play all kinds of mafia games with her . It was really fun.

" So sorry little pumpkin, some other day okay? ." He said ruffling her hair.

" Okayyy." Gabriel nudged his head in a let's go manner and Eva followed suit to his room.

EVA POV

" Are well calling the rest ." I asked Gabriel who was resting an elbow at the edge of the bed.

" Shouldn't we , or do you have any naughty plans in mind." He joked drawing closer to me . I laughed and pushed him away , then I paused and looked at him.

" Hey Gabs ."

" Mm?" He replied.

" You really need a shower , you reek bro." I said shrouching up my nose . He pinched the bridge of his nose and ruffled my hair roughly .

" You really are a smart one aren't you." He said sac I raised an eyebrow indicating my confusion.

" We're having a clean up at the sewage ."

" Liar !." I accused narrowing my eye lids .

" See for yourself." He said pointing to the window . I skipped across to his window , and sure enough there were men who were cleaning up.

" Believe me now?." I heard his voice behind me and I felt his hand above my head , I didn't want to turn cause I felt he was really close , it's Gabriel Eva why would you feel uncomfortable, I hyped myself then I turned , sure enough he was close but not only that , the frail buttons had more loose and his shirt was completely not covering his chest , and brooooo he was taller than me .

" Would you mind putting a shirt on?" I asked trying to keep my eyes off his chest.

" Why? Do I make you uncomfortable?" He said with a small smile as he bent his face to my level, his way of joking was dangerous. I tried to distract myself , then I noticed some of his little Beard poking out of his face , I grabbed his chin to his surprise and pulled them closer.

" Wow , look who's sprouting a beard ." I said causing him to roll his eyes and free himself from my grip.

" That was ages ago you dork, imma grown man now." He said proudly as he pulled his hair back to emphasis on his maturity.

" You wish , I said pushing him away , phew! now I could breathe.

" But you're right about one thing though." He said from behind me .

" What's that?"

" I really do need that bath."

I scoffed " You think?" and he walked to the bath room , which was like yards away I. His huge room .

" And one thing, no peeking." He said peeking only his head out from the bathroom.

" I your dreams you hot head."
