Karla got in after gaining clearance from the men at the security.
She noticed the way they were staring at her. She was oblivious to why they were looking at her in that manner.
One had even gone further to tell her that she was a very pretty woman but she took it as a compliment
Karla thanked him gratefully. She had no idea that he was lusting after her looks.
Karla had curves that could kill, and an innocent face that could make any man sin. Despite the fact that she wore one of the most decent clothes that they had ever seen, it still didn't hide her curves that were underneath.
Her face radiates innocence and she had blue eyes that had a pure glow in them when she had pink lips. Her fair skin accentuated her red blonde hair which was packed up in a neat messy bun.
Karla walked up to the porch that separated the main house from the servants quarters. The security men had directed her towards this area.
"Hello", the lady greeted with a placating smile. "How can I help you?" She asked scanning Karla from head to toe, wondering what she was doing here.
"My name is Karla Mathews and I'm the new housekeeper that was assigned here" she explained before showing the papers to the older lady.
Regina took the papers from her hand and stared at it a little longer.
"Ah... you're the one sent to replace Maya", she proclaimed. "You're welcome. Come inside and I'll show you to your room" she stepped aside allowing Karla to enter.
"Thank you" Karla chirped before walking inside after the woman.
"Bryan has gone for work" Regina explained. "But you'll meet him later. I'll show you around the house so you'll get used to your area"
Karla smiled at the woman's kindness.
She wasn't expecting her to be this nice. It was great having someone here to look after her.
The hours that followed were spent with Regina's help, she would've been lost by now. The house was so enormous that it scared her to death. How is it possible that only the owner lives here all alone?
"What about his wife and children?" Karla had asked at one point during their tour but Regina's face fell immediately. Karla was confused as to her sudden reaction but still looked at her expectantly.
"He's not married. He doesn't have kids either. He despises both the female gender and kids and wants absolutely nothing to do with them." Regina conceded with pain filled eyes.
Her boss was a very wicked mafia who only preferred to bed women rather than house them.
"What's there to despite?" Karla asked innocently
"Women are who God sent as a companion to men, and also children are blessings from above. Back home we were taught that children and God's fifty to mankind. They are the product of the love a husband and wife share."
Regina looked at Karla as she spoke. She was quite fascinated by how she viewed the world. It was obvious that she was properly brought up, and not from around here.
For her age she was quite intelligent and pretty smart too.
"So... what brings you to Scotland?" Regina asked when the tour of the house was over. She noticed how Karla flushed to that question.
"I came here to go to college" she replied truthfully "I grew up in a convent back at home. My family and I were going on vacation when we had an accident. My father died, my mom just died recently and my sister is still in a coma. I was then picked-up by the sisters of the convent and I was raised up there." Her eyes were gloomy and a drop of tear escaped her eyes, which she quickly cleaned.
Regina was happy that the girl could open up to her but, she also felt sad because of what Karla passed through. Regina didn't also fail to realize the glominess in her expression. She then quickly tried to change the topic to avoid her being depressed. "Sorry about that Karla. So... how was your life in the convent?"
"Life in the convent was good, but I wanted to achieve something for myself. I finished high school over there and I wanted to go to college and for that to happen, I needed a job and that's how I got this one." She explained and her eyes lit up, making the glominess in those blue hypnotizing eyes to disappear.
"It's always good to dream Karla and I am glad that you are."
"Thank you so much ma'am Regina. You're very nice."she commented, causing the older lady to chuckle.
"Let's get you settled before we start preparations for dinner." Regina suggested, leading the way towards the servant quarters with Karla trailing behind.
"How many servants are in this house?"
Regina furrowed her eyebrows in deep thought. "More than ten I can assure you,but we handle the kitchen work. The rest do other jobs around. Bryan has trust issues so he doesn't accommodate too many people.
"Oh" Karla muttered in surprise before exiting the big mansion.

"Who the fuck sent you?" Bryan questioned angrily as he punched Xander for the umpteenth time.
Xander was so reluctant to give any of his boss' details to anyone. "I'm not telling you anything"
"If that's the case, then say goodbye to your wife and kid" Bryan said with a playful smirk on his lips.
Xander trembled at the mention of the only family he had. He knew he was not supposed to betray his boss but for the sake of his family he had to. "My boss is one of the most dangerous bosses you can ever imagine. He is your worst enemy"
Bryan knew he had a lot of business rivals, but he really mixes business with his dirty work."What does your boss want from me?"
Xander sighed, he hated the idea of betraying his boss but he had to. "My boss has a plan of torturing your sister to death"
'Who the fuck is this man?" Bryan yelled at Xander.
