Present day

" Did he hate his daughter mummy ?"

" That's enough questions now baby ! I'll continue the story tomorrow" The woman kissed her daughters head and lovingly tucked her into bed !

" Night mummy " she whispered with a yawn

" Night my sunshine" she smiles over her daughter but all too soon her smile was replaced with a frown ! Her daughter is getting more curious by the day ! She likes it but at the same time doesn't.

Past (umbryss)

" Take the child! " Lucifer commands Ursula as the guards wrap the queens body and takes her out of the chambers, Ursula didn't need to be told twice as she runs out of the chambers to hers and cleans the babe with care

" I won't be allowed to tell you about your mother but my little one , know she was the light surrounded by darkness, as I know you will be too , hopefully " a sad smile adorns her lips as a tear falls on the baby's Body , she sucked in a sharp breath and sets the baby on the bed , uses the pillow to surround it and watches as she sleeps peacefully, a child born of night , into night and with the night .

Three years later ....

" Lady Nyx , you need to put on your shoes or your papa will be very upset with you !" This seems to get the little ones attention as she comes to halt , wild dak hair , as dark as the night everywhere on head , she had long rich hair for her age and those eyes as dark as ever , one would have thought the eyes would have changed but they remain the same

" Papa ?" Nyx cocks her head to the side

" Yes your papa Nyx , Ursula squats in front of the little one lifting her dainty feet into her shoes

" Papa always ... Upset" she whispers leaning into Ursula .

" It's alright !" She strokes Her hair in comfort as she carries the child to her chambers. Of course Lucifer is always upset ! At the age of three Nyx was yet to show any signs of her power , bringing devastation up on the king.

Ursula wishes for a peaceful life for Nyx , one were she became herself instead of who others wished her to be but she knew that it was impossible.Soon Nyx will be invited to the inner circle were both Beings from the Light and dark realm conversed and planned ! If by then Nyx hasn't shown any signs of her powers , then she feared for the girl ! She felt sad now but then ... She might lose her smile .

" Papa! Papa ! Look look ... a-a-a " little nyx stutters in excitement showing her papa a book she found

" Spit it out ! Not only are you powerless , you also can't even form a complete sentence you spoiled brat! I went to the inner council meeting today and the light warriors spoke greatly of Aelion's son ! And here you are ... GO ! AND MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL SOMEWHERE ELSE ".

Nyx bows her head her visions blurred , as her eyes sting from unshed tears threatening to fall , she scurries away quickly scared of angering her father the more .

"U-u-rsu" The woman rushes to the little girl and gathers her in her arms

" It's okay little one , it's not your fault " she sniffs burying her head in the crook of Ursula's neck

" I-i jus-t ! Want-e-d t-t-t o show h-im m-my b-ook! , Papa's bad to me "

" I'm afraid that's just your papa being himself ! That's enough tears now Little one, let's get you something to eat .

After some minutes Nyx finally stops crying and finishes her meal , Ursula takes her to the general grounds so she can play , but even then the weight little girl carries is far heavier than her as she plays ... Alone .
