Chapter 5 A New Place

Lucia's pov

How can I be sold to Alpha Delano by my father? This cannot be. No no

Alpha Delano is rumored to be a cursed alpha, and his previous wives died immediately after two weeks of staying with him.

I hope I am not dreaming right now. This is so unbelievable. I am in pain already; this is just like living my last two weeks on earth.

Mummy!!! I miss you.

I wish you and Dad were alive, I wouldn't have been going through all this. At least, you both would have protected me, even if you weren't in high positions in the pack but there would have been a little difference.

All these were my thoughts inside the carriage of Alpha Delano as they rode me to his pack.

He sat close to me with a very dangerous and hardened face. His head would be stuck out of the window for some time,and then, they would turn to me.

What have I ever done wrong to deserve all of these?

I know he saved me from Alpha Ethan and his stupid sense of reasoning, wanting me to strip in front of his friends, but I am now in a worse scenario than his.

I am now in a place where I wouldn't see the next season after now.

In one month, I would have been dead and buried and that's how everyone would forget about me.

But who has cared about me before? No one has. No one will.

I have been ridiculed and betrayed, shattered, and taken as a piece of trash everywhere I go yo. Whenever people see me, they see dirt, and stains all over.

I was taken as a scrub to clean messy places. Beaten and humiliated without any mercy or concern. Maybe the moon goddess wants me to die and rest at once.

Maybe she has finally heard my prayers and given me to Aloha Delano so I would see my death less painfully.

We reached his back and he ordered me into his room.

The room is filled with beautiful landscape designs on the wall. Enlarged portrait of two different women one of them has my eyes, nose, and shape of lips, her cheeks also, was puffy and wide but mine wasn't as puffy as hers. Mine was slim.

She was more beautiful than the first.

My eyes darted to his bed, from the headboard down to the end. There was a small table on which a lamp sat and on that table, there was another picture, not so enlarged like the one on the wall.

She was the one in that same picture. Her smiles were so bright and beautiful.

I wonder why he didn't put the other one on the table.

Suddenly, he pushed me to the wall.

"Do you think you can replace her?" He said, his hands pointing at the picture on the small chair close to the bed.

I became confused and scared. Replace who? What was he talking about?

However, I know that these women were his previous mates which the cursed worked on and mine would be next.

I looked at him, "Alpha-"

"Silent!" He ordered and I flinced.

My hands started shaking and my feet trembling uncontrollably. I was trying so hard to hold my breath so they wouldn't get him more pissed off.

And before I knew it, his hand was on my chin, cupping it up and lifting it to his mouth.

My heart started thumping loudly in my chest and I believe he could hear it. What was he trying to do?

Fuck me? No! This cannot be happening. I am planning on doing this with my mate, the one the moon goddess has assigned to me, not a stranger.

I begged under my breath, hoping he could hear me from within but suddenly, he dropped off my chin to the ground.

"Mate?"

He spat and started moving backward.

My eyes widened in shock, Mate? No. Not with this man. I can never be his mate.

He too couldn't believe his eyes. His facial expressions were shocked and confused at the same time.

"What did you do to me?" He barked at me.

I took a good around me to see who he was talking to. I was the only one and how could he accuse me of doing something to him?

I do not want him either. It's just that I cannot say this to him because he would kill me at once.

"I said, what did you do to me?" He roared again, making me regain my consciousness.

"I-I didn't do anything Alpha." I stutter as I retort.

I cannot stand here and watch him accuse me wrongly too when he was the one who forcefully brought me to this place.

"You did. How did my wolf start liking you now even when I do not?"

Huh? You do not?

So why did you bring me here at first? Are you serious right now? I look at him.

Well, he has already told me I am going to be his pet slave which I do not even know what he means by that. But I know anything pet requires closeness.

So now he is saying this, I do not understand him again?

I looked at him with widened eyes filled with disgust as he tried blaming me, "Alpha Delano, please I did nothing do-"

"Silent!" He barked back at me.

He started moving closer to me with an evil smirk on his cheeks, I retraced my steps backward at every move he made.

He did the same till my back hit against the wall, there, he yanked me up and threw me on the bed with a loud thud.
