Chapter 3 Slave in the Stones Empire

Ralph, do you think Alonso had any idea that I was coming?"

"I don't think so boss, Why don't we try asking his daughter maybe we missed something."

"That's amazing! Why didn't I think of it, thanks bro."

"You're always welcome. Now, let's go over to see her, so we'll know the next step to take."

"That'll be later tomorrow, I need to rest right now."

"No problem, boss."

"Please check what Jenny's up to, I'm not ready for her trouble. And inform the guys, there'll be a brief meeting tomorrow morning."

"Done boss, anything else?"

"Not at all, you can go take your rest too, goodnight."

"Goodnight boss."

I wonder what Jenny's up to, she better not get the boss angry, cause she takes things out of proportion at times.

Here's what I was just saying, see Jenny hitting the ladies boss brought home.

"Jenny, what's wrong with you, what is this?" I asked, dragging her away from them.

"What does it look like I'm doing, didn't you hear what the boss said?"

"I did, but did he say anything about you touching them, he asked me to come check you cause he knew you'd do something stupid, and of course, he was right."

Hey you will not call me stupid, she said screaming at the top of her voice.

"Just get out of here before I report you to the boss, you keep doing things abnormally."

Jenny finally left, but not without glaring at the ladies in the room, like they were the cause of her misery.

"Sorry ladies, do not mind her. You can return to bed, it's really late."

"Alright, thank you" Cassie finally spoke since they got to the empire.

"You talk?" Ralph asked looking shocked

"Of course, what makes you think I don't?"

"Well since you got here, and I brought you to this room, I didn't hear any word from you, all you did was gaze around."

"Well, as you can see, I do talk," she replied sassily.

"Yes yes ! goodnight ladies" Ralph called out heading to his room

The ladies could barely sleep a wink, they were buried in their different thoughts, none knew what was going to happen in the morning.

Trevor rarely slept at night, so he uses the opportunity to check his unfinished business and make plans.

He was eagerly waiting for the morning, he needed to unleash a bit of his anger.

He's not interested in punishing the innocent, but they were there at the wrong time.

They shouldn't have been home then, I would have found a way to deal with the issue.

They'd be here till I come up with another plan for Alonso, he needs to feel the pain of finding a child.

It was as if the universe was against the ladies, the morning came so fast, and now, here's Trevor in front of them with a frowny expression on.

"Rise and shine ladies, you are not in your father's house" Trevor said, waking the ladies with a clap of hand.

"Who's this, and why are you here to wake us up?"

"Well sorry to burst your bubbles, sharp mouth you are not in your father's house so stand up!"

"You need to come start your work, the empire needs special cleaning."

"Why do we have to clean it ,don't you have maids or something?"

"Do I answer to you?"

"I'm not cleaning anything. Heck, I don't even know how to clean. Cassie says something," Sabrina said, nudging Cassie.

"We're sorry sir, but we don't know how to clean, we've never done it before."

"Don't worry, there's always a first time for everything. Now, I don't have the time to wait here doing nothing all day."

"Always grumpy" Sabrina murmured standing from the bed.

"Did you say something?" Trevor asked with raised eyebrows.

"I was just asking for your name, and I said I like your second better."

"Good for you, now move!"

He was about to give the ladies a tour round the empire, so they wouldn't attract his punishment when he saw one of his men loitering around.

"Hey Jack, come over here," he beckoned on the guy.

Running hastily to where the boss was, bowing his head, "Yes boss."

"Take these ladies round the empire, let them know everything about it, they are our new slaves."

"Alright boss, I'll do just that."

"If anything goes wrong, you know it's coming back on you, right?"

"Sure boss, I do."

"Now, move on."

"You ladies should go with him, then report back to me, I'd then tell you where to start."

"But what's all this, you've refused to tell us why we are here, and now you're making us your slave."

"Do you want to question me right now, well, you're here suffering for your father's crime, and until I am able to figure out how to get to him, you'll remain here."

"My father? Then please let my friend go, she doesn't have anyone, and she has her life to live."

Giving it a thought, "well, that'll depend on what your friend wants. So let's ask her. Do you wish to stay or leave?"

"I'll stay, I can't leave my friend here alone, I don't know what you guys have in mind."

"If you say so then, just know that there wouldn't be any special treatment for you."

"I don't want any special treatment, I'll take any treatment you give to my friend."

"That's settled, Jack them round and bring them to the room after."

"Alright boss, let's go ladies."

Jack was just like Ralph, very calm. He took his time to show the ladies each segment of the empire.

He also informed them of how things are done in the empire, the people to avoid, the people who they could mingle with and all.

After the tour, they all started heading back to the room where Trevor told them to meet him.

"Thank you so much Jack, you made this day a bit more bearable for me," Sabrina said.

"Yes true, thanks Jack, I hope we'll be seeing more of you?" Cassie questioned.

"Ahhh...ah, I'm not sure, I'm not always here, I just come over once a while when I'm not busy."

"Oh God, so we won't be seeing you often?"

"I'm afraid so."

"I hope we survive here," Sabrina said, raising her hands high in the sky.

"Here we are, ladies."

Getting to the boss's room, Jack placed a knock on the door twice and waited for a response.

"Come on in, the door isn't locked."

"We are here boss, I've shown them around the empire, and let them in on all that they need to know."

"That's good Jack you call it leave, But before that, call the guys together, and be ready in the next 10 minutes."

"Alright boss." Jack bowed leaving the room.
