Chapter 2 THEIR FIGHT BEGINS

Their hate begins

Rei sat down in the audience area watching her client Brian Riku Sakamoto as he was practicing his skating skills in the rink. Flying sit spin, tackle jump, double shallow, double jump, triple axle, forward roll,a guy was seen performing beautifully on the staking rink while other stand close by admiring his moves, Brian Riku Sakamoto is a half American , half Japanese,age 26 ,was known as one of the best figure skater from Japan to perform 2 to 3 tricks at once in his competition making him win various medals and competitions. He was formally based in the US where he was a double figure skater(two skaters who skate together) who was starting to get popular , but an accident happened which affected his partner who was currently in coma. Because of this,he moved to Japan to start all over again but this time as a single figure skater,he had to skate alone because he didn't want any partner again and nobody wanted to skate with him because of his rude and unfriending personality. A rumor is said that Brian might be involved in the accident of his partner, since his partner does better than him.

As he grows into a popular single figure skater in Japan,many Japanese skaters hated him because he came from nowhere to steal their spot and fame, because of this he draws many people away from him. Only Mr Dari his coach could tolerate his rude and proud behavior, he started coaching him when Brian came to Japan and after many coaches abandoned him. Even with his behavior, Brian is very serious with his practice and skating, one thing he finds joy at doing. "Okay", Mr Dari clapped his hand signaling Brian to take some rest from his practice. Brian just huffed and continues with his practice not minding Mr Dari. Rei could not tolerate his actions and shouted at him :" he was talking to you, dumbass,get your filthy legs off the rink before I come there to break it up myself", Brian just scoffed and said:" you don't tell me what to do you old lady ". "You seem you have not learned your lesson dutch bag" ,Rei said raising a fist at Brian, Brian recalled what she did to him earlier,so he just skated off the rink towards them then sat down, picked up a bottle of water and started drinking it. Dari was happy seeing how Brian obeyed Rei and said to her: "I think you are fit to handle Brian". Rei scoffed and looked at the staking rink where other skaters are saying:" I have handled worse characters like him,he will not be hard for me, by the way what happened to his previous bodyguard?" ,Dari signed and said:"since he came to Japan and won different awards,he has many enemies because they are afraid he will take the title Japan Best Figure Skater and if he does,he will have to compete in the Olympic which is the dream of every skaters.So they are looking for any means to take him down".

"Killing him might put them in trouble, don't you think so?" Rei asked looking at Dari,Dari asked:"Do you know the greatest fear of any skater?" ,Rei nodded No . "It is to have injuries in their body, once they have tension break, stroke,pain or ankle strain, it might make them to go for a hiatus for months which will hinder their progress or even stop them in becoming a skater forever,they will have to resign. So they don't have to kill him just an accident can end up his career " . Rei said :"So his former bodyguard -", "he was injured from a stage camera as he pulled Brian away to avoid him getting hit causing a glass stab in his abdomen,he is fine now but still recovering from his wound". Rei looked at Brian who was pacing out looking at the staking rink, she turned back to Dari and said:"don't worry, no harm will come his way surely as I am here,he will be safe". Dari nodded his head happily.

Some minutes later,a lady wearing medicated glasses was seen running in towards Dari and Rei, when she came closer,Dari hold her urging her to cool down while the lady breathed heavily, she bought out a paper showing some writing in it, she said breathing heavily:" I have been able to add Brian to the All-Japans Ice Skating Competition that is taking place next month","well that is good news, you have done a lot for Brian" Mr Dari said. The lady stands straight after getting her normal breathing back and waves at Rei smiling:"hello",Rei smiled back. Dari cut in saying:" oh, this is Reize Ray also known as Rei , Brian new assigned bodyguard,while Rei this is Miss Shinkai Makoto she is the manager overseas everything about Brian". "Nice to meet you,I didn't see you there, you can call me Kai in short", Miss Kai shake hands with Rei and Rei replied:" nice to meet you miss Kai , how are you coping with that dutchbag? I know he works you out all the time" . Kai just smiled at Rei for she was a bit afraid of Brian . "You know I can hear you old lady" Brian said as he walked back to the skating rink,Rei just scoffed at him.

"Oh will you look at the time,Kai you can help Rei with her accommodation later and send Brian home after he is done with his practice,I need to check on my other skaters" ,Mr Dari said. "Yes sir" Kai said and Mr Dari smiled leaving both Kai and Rei to watch over Brian. When Dari is gone, Brian skated to Rei and Kai direction,he started talking rudely to Kai asking if she arranged his stuff, commercial and other things. Rei could not bear the way Brian was talking to Kai,she pulled Brian ear making Brian wink in pain while Kai looks at them in surprise,Rei said to Brian :" she have been working non stop to care for you and you are not even appreciative, she just got back from getting you in the competition you want to participate and I didn't not hear a single thing you from that disgusting mouth of your", Brian remove her hand from his ear , holding it in pain saying:" what I or she does is none of your fucking business, your job is to protect me,so you go sit down old lady" .

Rei was so rage with anger that she pulled Brian forcefully close to her making Brian to hit his body on the side of the skating rink,she placed her hand on his shoulder and pressed it hard telling Brian to apologize to Kai , Brian got his knee down to support himself as he couldn't remove Rei hand from his shoulder which was causing pains for Brian, he kept hitting Rei saying in pains:"it hurts, it hurts". Kai on the other hand was trying to separate Rei from Brian, she started noticing people were taking pictures,so she pleased with Rei and Rei finally removed her hand looking at Brian very fiercely . Brian just sat down on the rink and said:"what kind of strong woman are you?,Are you also trying to end my life too?"

Rei who walking away suddenly turned around and walked back to Brian angrily saying:" I will make sure to do it today before someone else does it" , Brian hurrying get up and skate away before Rei could get to where he was while Kai stop Rei from making any movement. Kai urged Rei to cool down and wait for them , while Brian was showing Rei his middle finger. If Rei tries to walk into Brian direction, Brian will stake off . Kai just smiled at what she was seeing feeling safe around Rei from Brian.

After Brian was done with his practice,Rei made Brian arrange his stuff, Brian walked faster leaving the skating rink trying to avoid contact with Rei, walking to where his mini bus use for celebrity was parked while Kai and Rei holding her suitcase followed him from behind. Brian got on the back roll seat on the bus folding his hand and looking at the window while Rei sat on the middle row after dropping her suitcase in the booth of the bus. Kai drive the bus at of the scene.
