Chapter 4 The Moon goddess pleading

They finally reached stoping in a very big restaurant.It was so fine , neatly made and well decorated.Mira was still admiring the restaurant as prince Dylan hold her hand leading the way.When they entered the restaurant it was just two of them with petals and red roses on the floor.Everywhere was so beautiful .She was still looking everywhere admiring how beautiful it was set for her.

She was so happy,when a worker handed her a bouquet of flowers.She inhaled the scent ,it was so lovely,she was still buried in the scent of the flower, when she turned and saw the prince kneeling down asking her one question "Will you marry me"? You have brought so much love that even a parents cannot give me.Mira immediately answered yes as she jumped up smiling.when the prince had worn the ring,he stood up and kissed Mira on the head.

That night,they ate discussing everything.Then they finished as they held their hands intertwined in each other with mira's head on the chest of Dylan.The prince then opened the door for Mira to enter the car as he entered and Mira laid her head on his chest drawing circles in it.Mira,Dylan called as Mira looked into his blue eyes,an eyes that has become her addiction.Yes my love,what is it?There is a place I want to take you to ."In one night,"okay let's go.

The prince then gave the driver a direction to go to.They finally reached a place and the prince took Mira down a path.It was bright but ad they went down,it became more darker and darker with tiny noises heard .Mira was very uncomfortable.She wondered where they were,she was not at peace and her heart were pounding and each step she took made her more uneasy but the prince consoled her.As they reached a place,the prince told her to close her eyes.She argued at first but after much persuasion,she closes her eyes as her mouth trembled as she said I have done it.The prince then pushed her as a hole opened and Mira fell down straight.As she fell,she remembered her sister's warning,her daddy's plea and how she was begged.Before she recover from her thought,she was in hell as the demons who were bigger than her killed her as the devil carried the last of his dagger sticking it directly to her heart as Mira died with tears from her eyes as she called one last name Dylan.

Dylan on the other hand stayed there for hours thinking of what to do to cover his lies as an idea popped in his head .He used the stones there to wound himself seriously because this is the only way his lies will be accepted as the truth.He then started crying for hours so that his face and eyes will be a bit swollen.

He then went back crying to the driver till they got home.The driver tried to ask him but he did not respond instead he kept shedding his crocodile tears.By the time he got home, Aphrodite was beign attended by a doctor with people gathered around her.Dylan got there as the attention shifted from Aphrodite to him by the sound of his tears.He kept crying as they asked him until he finally says that Mira is dead.

Prince Mason then finally understood why Aphrodite was the way she was.They were talking the casually as Aphrodite kept going about complaining about how uneasy she felt about Mira's date.I tried re-assuring her that it was alright when she started shouting holding her chest as she winced in pain and fainted.He guesses that's what Aphrodite felt and fainted.

They were still talking when thunder s,with loud earthquake as the heavens opened with Thaddeus looking at them,his face contorted showing anger as tears dripped from his eyes but they were unable to see him like before.His voice so loud that the trees,water and buildings trembled as he said because of love,my daughter is dead,his voice cracking ,one could feel the bitterness and the tears beign held back by his voice.So therefore,he says .His voice like 10 thunders string at once . Every one who becomes a royalty must see how it is to lose a loved one.As he said ,a force of wind came carrying Aphrodite up as the heavens closed back.

Dylan immediately sneaked out of the palace going to the demons as he came to finish his bargain.So where is her power,you said you will give me a little bit of her power to make me stronger than my brother.Instead of an answer ,he got a loud hysterical laugh as the devil said finish him.That day the heavens were in turmoil every gods and goddesses running around to see if Aphrodite can wake up but she deteriorated the more and died.Thaddeus never cried but he never laughed.From that day,he became another thing,he never talked except in the God's meeting, everyone dread what will happen even till this day because it is certain that Thaddeus is still grieving.

Dylan and prince are brothers from the same mother and father .It was always a rule that between these brothers,they will have to fight for anyone to be the king.Dylan has always wanted to be king but he knew it was not possible because. mason was more stronger, respected and loved by the people.His parents never failed to correct him using mason as an example.

He was one day going for a walk all by himself when he met a man who walked up to him and said I will help you get the throne.He was afraid at first, wondering who this person was.Hoe did you know as he stopped half way.The man then told him the powers he can give him only if he does one thing which is to bring Mira or Aphrodite.After thinking about it for quite a long time,he finally said yes ! But why Mira,he said you will know in due time.Dylan was so greedy for power and with all the powers that were going to be given to him, giving out one person was not a big deal.So,when the gods and goddesses came to beg Mira and Aphrodite.He finally understood why the demon wanted Mira or Aphrodite.He knew that the only way to get Mira was to make her fall in love with him but one thing he did not know is that the devil never keeps his promise.

As the moon goddess nods her head at that tragedy of a story,she knew the werewolves deserved it but they were suffering from something they knew nothing about.Even though their ancestors did a wrong thing,Mira on the other hand also made a mistake.Just as she looked at the werewolves again.The king's mate killed herself with a silver knife as her blood on the floor pumping out from her body like a tap.Before the guards could come,she had breathed her last and gave up.Just immediately Gaius came in looking at the moon goddess who was still buried in the mirror she was looking. Do you want to be late ?Gaius asked her as the rushed wore her clothes and left with Gaius to the meeting.

When the moon goddess and Gaius reached,the meeting were about to start.The Moon goddess listened as everyone laid out their complaint and as discussions were beign made as she rehearsed her speech over and over again in her head as she kept telling herself a thousand times I can do it.Any other thing? Thaddeus asked with his stern face as usual.Yes,Moon goddess said as she knelt down ,please these people have suffered for long, it's been years ,my Remember they are not the ones that did it.Thaddeus did not even look at him Instead he hissed and said,this is just the beginning and walk out .

The moon goddess knelt there imagining how the werewolves will go into extinction,lost in her thought that she did not know when she started crying.For once in her life,she felt helpless,unable to think,unable to know what to do next.So,I am to fold my hands and watch this people die,she could not hold it as she cried loudly.
