The next day, Lexi arrived at Julian's mother's house, eager to see the garden. Julian greeted her, looking relaxed in a casual shirt and jeans.

As they walked through the overgrown garden, Lexi's eyes widened with excitement. "This is beautiful! It just needs some TLC."

Julian smiled. "I was hoping you'd see the potential. My mother loved this garden, but she's been too ill to tend to it."

Lexi's heart went out to Julian's mother. She began envisioning the possibilities – pruning, planting, and restoring the garden to its former glory.

As they worked, Lexi and Julian chatted easily, their conversation flowing like old times. Lexi felt a sense of comfort around Julian she hadn't experienced in a long time.
