Henry didn't remember when he fell asleep last night. He groaned as he woke up with a headache, like a dull throb behind his eyes. But the headache didn't stop him, he had to fly on the earliest plane back to Lindholm.
He then spreaded his arm to press a button and the curtain opened automatically. As the sunlight entered the suite room, he swiftly went to the bathroom to take a hot shower. His mind flashback to last night. Andrea ended his call. He tried to call her again and again, but Andrea turned her phone off.
He felt so much anger last night. He had given so much effort in this relationship, and Andrea still doubted his love for her.
Henry just finished getting ready when the door bell rang. He opened the door, and as expected it was Tom standing in front of the door. Tom walked inside carefully. Tom has been working as Henry's assistant for years, and by the look in Henry's face, Tom knew very well that his boss was not in a good mood.
"Mr. Allen, this is the new phone you requested." Tom handed Henry a new phone, all set to be the same as the previous one. Henry didn't say anything and then gave his broken phone to Tom. It's still intact but the screen cracked when Henry slammed it to the floor last night.
"The car and jet are ready. Do you wish to depart now, Mr. Allen?" Tom said still very carefully. Henry did not speak a word, but he walked out from the hotel room. Tom trailed behind him and carried Henry's luggage. Henry suddenly stopped his step and turned around. "Tom, I need you to make an appointment for me. It has to be today. I'll send you the details."
"Yes, Sir." Tom said.
Andrea blankly stared to the sketch in her computer. She hasn't turned her phone back on. She just could not keep up with Henry's nonsense. How much longer will she became the secret girlfriend. Her mother repeatedly tried to match her with several men. Yet she always made excuses about that. Her friends and colleagues always regarded her as someone who's workaholic and had no time to find a life partner. But the truth? She's been someone's secret girlfriend for five years. Five years is a long time, right?
Andrea's deep thought was suddenly interrupted when her secretary knocked her door several times. "Ms. Evans, your 4 o'clock appointment is here."
"Do I have a 4 o'clock appointment?" Andrea cheked her schedule in her notebook, she believed that she's free all afternoon.
"Ms. Evans, uhm, actually this morning someone called to make appointment with you. But I thought it was a prank call." Sharon's face filled with worries.
"And why is that?" Andrea asked her. "Be-because he said he's calling for He-Henry Allen, and he specifically asked for you to design his new house." Sharon stammered.
"You said Henry Allen?" Andrea stood up from her chair, surprised of the name she recognized very well.
"Ye-Yes, Ms. Evans. I thought it was a prank until I saw Mr. Allen himself waiting downstairs. Should I send him here?" Sharon asked carefully.
"No need. I'm here already." suddenly Andrea's door swung open. Henry and Tom were just outside the door.
"Henry-, I- I mean Mr. Allen." Andrea could not believe her eyes. Five years of relationship, and not even once Henry step his feet in Andrea's office. Not until now.
"So, can I come in?" Henry said, as Andrea and Sharon were still deeply in shock. Sharon usually watched Henry on TV, or saw him in the front page of newspaper, and now he's really here.
"Of- of course, Sir." Sharon instantly moved herself from the doorway, letting Henry to step inside Andrea's office.
"Thank you and please keep this confidential. I don't want people to know where I design my new house." Henry shut the door, leaving Tom & Sharon outside.
Andrea was still standing by her desk, stunned of what she's seeing. "So, this is your office. Hmmm, quite nice." Henry mentioned as he's walking around Andrea's office. He traced every inch of the office, looking at the furniture, seeing the pictures on the wall. Some awards, some photos of Andrea with important clients.
"Henry, are you serious? Which house need to be designed?" Andrea finally asked. It felt a little awkward seeing him in her office, in public.
"You can choose one, any house would do." Henry said so lightly.
"Mr. Allen, I'm being serious right now. You cannot mess with my workplace." Andrea tried to hold her composure. Her office was partly glass walled, so her colleagues could somehow see the inside.
Henry finally sit across where Andrea's standing. Andrea grabbed her chair dan sit too. They were sitting facing each other with Andrea's desk in between. "What do you want, Henry?" Andrea said almost whispering.
"Isn't this what you want, Andrea? Not being hidden. You want to be seen in public with me, right?" Henry teased her.
"Not funny." Andrea scoffed.
"Because Andrea, if you still doubt my love for you, I can kiss you right here right now." Henry moved his face forward merely few inches from Andrea's, his eyes were looking sharp as if he wanted to prey her.
