Chapter 3 Flee

Chapter 3

SASHA'S POV

My eyes flipped open, and I was met with a wave of panic as I realized I was in an unfamiliar room. A hand was wrapped around me, and I quickly shook it off, sitting up on the bed.

"This is definitely not my house," I voiced out, my heart racing as I glanced around the room.

I raised the duvet and gasped as I realized I was totally naked. I rushed out of bed, my face flush with embarrassment.

"Who the hell did I sleep with?" I asked myself, my mind racing with thoughts of the previous night.

I slowly moved towards the sleeping figure, my eyes fixed on his face. My eyes widened in disbelief as I took in his features. This man I had a night with was no other than Alpha Ryan, the most ruthless alpha ever, feared by everyone.

"Oh my goodness, it's Alpha Ryan," the words rang out of my mouth as I stared at his sleeping form. "Oh no, I'm doomed," I whispered, my heart filled with fear.

I couldn't let him see me, I thought, my mind racing with panic. Without hesitation, I started searching for my clothes on the floor, my hands shaking as I dressed.

I left the room, my head still racing with thoughts of the night before. Once I was outside, I realized it was still dark, and a wave of relief washed over me.

I transformed into my wolf form and raced into the woods, my heart pounding in my chest. In no time, I was home, my paws pounding on the door.

The door swung open, revealing my mum, who stood there with worries showing in her eyes. "Where have you been?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.

I couldn't meet her gaze, my eyes cast downward in shame.

"Sasha, where have you been? I have been looking everywhere for you," my mom asked, I managed to look at her, and all I could see was her concerns for me.

I couldn't respond, my mind racing with fear and panic. I knew what was at stake if I remained in the pack until morning, so I forced myself to move.

I rushed into my bedroom and started packing my bags, my hands shaking as I pack my bags.

"Sasha, what's going on?" Mum asked, her voice filled with concern, as she stared at me in confusion.

I stopped and faced her, my eyes welling up with tears.

"Mum, I'm doomed," I voiced out, not wanting to keep her in the dark anymore.

She stared at me in confusion, her eyes searching for answers.

"What do you mean by that?" she asked, her voice gentle but laced with concern. I took a deep breath before speaking.

"Mum, I was drunk last night, and I ended up spending the night with Alpha Ryan," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

She gasped, and stared right at me.

"What!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with disbelief.

"You mean you had a night with Alpha Ryan, the Alpha of the Silver moon pack?" she asked, still finding it hard to believe what I just said.

I nodded, feeling a wave of shame wash over me. "Yes, Mum, I'm in a big mess right now, and I have to leave before he realizes I'm gone," I told her.

"But how did that happen? Why were you drunk?" she asked, trying to understand me better.

But I was in a hurry to leave, my mind was filled with fears, and I wasn't even comfortable even for one bit. I just wanted to leave the pack as soon as possible..

"I'll explain everything to you over the phone, but for now, I have to go. Remember, he's the Alpha here, and would easily find me here," I told her, trying to sound calm, but deep down in my heart, I knew they was a great war.

"Oh okay, but where will you go now?" she asked, as she joined me in packing my bags.

"I don't really know yet, but I just have to leave," I said, standing up and grabbing my bags.

"Be safe, and remember to reach me once you've found somewhere to settle," Mum said.

I nodded, promising to do exactly what she said. She walked me to the door, and without thinking twice, I ran into the woods, hoping to escape before dawn.

I was grateful that I had woken up early enough to do the needful. I didn't know how I would have faced my fate if he had woken up to see an outcast like me beside him.

FIVE YEARS LATER.

"Mummy, what are we going to have for breakfast?" Ava asked me, her big brown eyes sparkling with excitement, as I helped her get ready for school.

She was a handful, and I loved every moment of it. Her energy was infectious, and I couldn't help but smile as I gazed at her.

"Mummy, you aren't responding to me," she shook my hand, snapping me out of my thoughts. I chuckled and focused on her again.

"Come on Ava, you shouldn't be thinking about breakfast right now, you need to get ready for school," I said, trying to hide my amusement.

She pouted, and I couldn't resist her adorable face. "You are dressing me up already, so what's left to do?" She asked.

I sighed softly, realizing she was right.

"I still have to prepare your brothers for school too, so be patient okay, we will all have breakfast together," I told her, trying to sound firm.

She faked a frown, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay," she bit her lower lip, making my smile deepen as I continue dressing her up. I finished dressing her up, and she looked up at me with those big brown eyes.

"Go ahead and have a sit, I need to attend to your brothers," I said, and she nodded, quickly running off to the dining room.

Next, Adrian came to me, and I didn't hesitate to take him to the bathroom where I bathed him and dressed him too.

He giggled and played in the water, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for these moments.

After a while, we were all seated in the dining room to have breakfast. The room was filled with the sound of chatter and laughter, and I felt a sense of contentment wash over me.

"Mum, I have a question for you," Andy spoke up, making me sigh softly as I faced him.

I couldn't help but wonder what question he was going to ask me now.

"Andy, can't that question of yours wait until you get back from school, because you are running late already," I told him, hoping he could reconsider, and not ask me this question in his little brother.

He shook his head negatively, his face set to achieve what he wanted

"It can't wait, Mum," he said, his voice firm, and I couldn't help but smile at his persistence.

"Okay, go ahead and ask me," I told him, trying to sound calm, while he smiled at me with an innocence that tugged at my heartstrings.

"Mummy, when are we going to meet Daddy?" Andy asked me, his voice showing his seriousness, making me widen my eyes in disbelief.

I felt a knot form in my stomach as I tried to process the question. What answer was I going to give to them now? These thoughts rang in my head, as I stared at him.
