Chapter 4 When Jealously Awakens The Heart

Matteo, Emilia's friend, covered her with his umbrella and together they ran off under the rain.

Ricco went back to his car and was angry at what had happened.

He did not understand the reason why his heart was beating almost fast, he then went home disappointedly.

The next morning, Emilia decided to go to work early to make some corrections to a sales document before sending it to the director. On her way, Mr. Ricco met her and volunteered to drive her to work; she hesitated for a while, but seeing that she had to wait for a while before getting a cab, she accepted.

Am Ricco. He said. He didn't want to mention his Surname to her so that she would not know him as The CEO of Leo's group but rather as a friend.

Am Emilia Bruno. You are that guy that I bumped into when I was in a rush to enter the elevator, right?

Oh my God! Am so sorry for that, I was in a hurry to attend a meeting. "Do you work there"?

Yeah, I work there, Mr. Ricco answered.

Ok, I will stop here, thanks for the ride, see you bye.

Mr. Ricco was joyous and happy. He happened to see her small teddy bear in the seat of his car when he reached work. The teddy bear looked familiar to him, but he couldn't remember where or when he had seen it. He wanted to call her but remembered that he didn't get her number from her.

After work, Mr. Ricco drove to Emillia's workplace and waited for her outside so as not to attract people.

Emilia came out looking stunning as always and saw Mr. Ricco.

"Ricco right?" Emilia asked. Yes, he replied.

You left this in my car in the morning, so I think I should bring it back to you.

Thanks. This is one of the birthday gifts my mom got for me before she died, and I have cherished this one cause it reminds me of someone. Emilia said.

Ok, can you get in the car since we are going the same way? Ricco asked.

She got into the car, and they chatted freely about their work, but Mr. Ricco made sure that he wouldn't say things about him being the CEO of Leo's group.

And from their discussions, he gets to know that she is a fashion designer also.

When she reached her destination, he got her contact from her, and she came down from the car.

Mr Ricco saw Matteo, the guy who covered Emilia with an umbrella, waiting for her at her door, and was a little angry and left. The hug and smile Emilia gave to Matteo tightened his heart. He vowed to himself that if fate brings them together, she will always be his and nobody else would take his woman.

Matteo is Emillia's best friend, but Matteo has been asking to date her, but she refuses, stating that she will cherish it if they are only friends because she doesn't have any feelings for him but sees him as a friend and brother she didn't have.

But Emilia doesn't know what kind of feelings she has developed for Ricco just these few days they have met. Ever since Ricco got her contact from her, she has been waiting for his call, glancing through her phone at every ring to see if it was him.

Her phone rang and she glanced at it, saw that it was a number she hadn't received any calls from and thinking that it was Ricco she answered it.
