Everything got over, and Isabella and Raechal became good friends by now, and Martina was regretting her decision of coming here because her evening got wasted. If she spent her time at home, she would have done some productive things by now, like dancing her heart out in her room all alone, according to her.
Right now she was standing with her mother, who didn't leave her hand, and her father, who was busy talking with some of his clients, and Martina wanted to scratch his face now because whenever they tried to leave, someone just spawned up to meet her father.
Martina
"We will take our leave now," Dad spoke, and I mentally danced because finally now we can go. We started going towards the entrance because we were on opposite sides of it. Finally I can go and will watch some cartoons--oh no!! I have an assignment to complete. How can I forget? I slapped myself mentally. 'God please now let us reach before anyone can interrupt us from going home-'
"Mr. Brown," a deep and a little familiar voice spoke as the hairs on my nape arose and my anxiety increased. The voice came from behind, and as we turned around, I got to see my parents' backs because I was walking ahead of them.
"Hello Mr. Fernando," my dad spoke as I tilted my head a little to look over my father's shoulder. 'Oh no' I widened my eyes as I looked at the person. I couldn't believe my eyes. He was the same idiot I was glaring at, and moreover, he caught me. 'Godddd why am I soo dumb??'
"She is my wife Isabella, and dear, he is Pedro Fernando." A shiver ran down my spine as I heard his name. I don't know much about him, but all I know is that he is dangerous and not the type of person one can mess with. Then why is Dad talking to him?
"Hello, Mr. Fernando," my mother's voice echoed. He didn't noticed me till now but if dad introduced her to him, then he will also introduce me to-- "Here she is my daughter Martina." I felt exposed as Dad moved away, leaving me in front of his grayish eyes. He again raised his eyebrows amusingly as his lips curved into a sly smile as I nervously smiled before muttering.
"H-Hii" I spoke nervously, and I was embarrassed because of what I had done at the speech. "Hello, Martina," my name slipped out from his mouth, making me visibly shiver as I thought, 'Why am I shivering? its not even that cold. His lips tugged upward, making me annoyed, but before we could say anything further, my dad spoke.
"Ok, Mr. Fernando, we will discuss everything further whenever you want; now I gotta go." I took a sigh of relief. "Bye--" I frowned at why he was talking slowly. "Martina." A wave of sudden rush passed through me as I gulped the lump that formed in my throat as we parted our ways, and I was more than happy because we were going home, and I was saved from the embarrassment in front of the most feared man.

Pedro smirked evilly as he noticed his effect on her. Her naive mind was not in that state to notice his intentions towards her. She was finding herself at the place of fault because of their last encounter, and it has become one of the most interesting parts of his life.
As they walked out of the hotel, Martina felt a shiver run down her spine. She couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched, like unseen eyes were trained on her.
She glanced over her shoulder, scanning the crowd, but saw nothing out of the ordinary. Still, the sensation lingered, making her skin crawl.
Martina's mind screamed at her to tell her parents, but she hesitated, fearing they would scold her for not mentioning it before.
So she stayed silent, trying to convince herself it was just her imagination playing tricks on her. But the feeling of being watched didn't fade away, haunting her like a shadow.
As they walked further away from the hotel, Martina couldn't resist sneaking another glance over her shoulder. And that's when she felt it again – a chill, a shiver, a sense of being watched.
They settled inside the car, and Martina's face paled. But her inner self spoke. 'You did great today. See you face many new faces without even doing anything awkward.' She took a pause of her vulnerability and thought of it, which made her smile a little.
'Yes,' she replied and got a little distracted from her feelings and Pedro. Still, her naive mind thinks that she was feeling this way because of the embarrassing encounter with Pedro and what he was thinking of her.
Being a daughter of the most successful lawyer in New York, she had to maintain his respect and dignity, but after meeting Pedro Fernando, her overthinking got generated, and she was thinking rubbish all the time.
'See, now you don't have to meet him again, so there will be no chance of any embarrassment,' she said to herself and convince herself and completely forgot about the irrational thought she was getting about Pedro and the feeling of being watched.
Little did the poor girl know that from this event her life was taking a 360-degree turn. "Pedro Fernando is my current and most important client, and he is well for good and evil for bad people," her father spoke in the most innocent way he could describe because he knows his wrath.
As Martina was present, he doesn't want her to get scared as she listened to their conversation quietly from the back seat. She felt relieved. 'He is not that bad,' her mind thought. 'It was my fault; I talked to him rudely and didn't even apologise.' Sadness filled her eyes.
'I will apologise to him for my behaviour.' Innocently, she made a note to herself and thought that everything would be fine.

He is my father's most important client and after my clumsiness he still didn't broke the contract with my father. He is kind but looked scary. Now I get it from his face and body everyone thinks that he is bad. But he is kind he didn't mention me disrespecting him and act like we met for the first time. He saved me.
