Chapter 5 Save me Leo

"Wait......wait.....am i dreaming? Mila.....mila...." Ella said putting her hands on her chest as she staggered backwards.

"That bitch! More promiscuous than i thought! Who ever thought she will able to get through Leonard thick skin? I wonder what he saw in her that i don't have ten times more." Mila said softly rubbing her ample curves.

"I think we underestimated Leonard......... "I think he isn't really interested in ample curves" the staffs whispered.

Meanwhile in elevator, kaina was trying to get her breath because she literally ran as he dragged her. "Leonard! What's all this? Did you want to get me in trouble?"

She yelled at him wide eyed still trying to catch her breath and swallowing hard. He chucked "can you keep it hidden forever? Its just a matter of time before it gets out" he said wrapping his arms around her shoulder and drew her closer to himself.

"You jerk!......you're so shameless!" She said pushing him from her and hitting him with her handbag. The elevator pinged and opened, he dragged her out "Leo.....Leo did you see me in your dreams?

"Why did you choose to go after me this morning?" She said trying to free herself. His gripped tightened instead and he dragged her into her office. He pinned her to the wall "now its time to settle our score last night..." He said bringing his face close to hers.

"Hey.... hey......what are you doing? Are you out of your senses?" Kaina said sifting backwards but she was stopped by the wall. "What do you think am doing? Settling the score from last night......with a kiss"

he said in a hoarse voice she had never heard before. She quaked "a kiss?" Oh no! The morning report!" She thought and used her head to hit his lips. "Owwwww" he shouted in pain as his lips bleed. "Sorry Leo!" She shouted as she ran to Ryan's office.

As Ryan was going through the report with utmost concentration, she couldn't help but admire him, after all its free right? She couldn't help appreciate his handsome face and long lashes like a girl. Her mind drifted to Leo

"although he isn't as handsome as Ryan, at least he treats me well and makes me happy" she thought clutching at her skirt. Her thoughts and Ryan concentration was broken by Leonard who barged into the office.

Kaina heart skipped. she has broken his lips with her head this morning, was he going to report her? She panicked. "Hey yo! Good morning to the house!" He shouted to the amusement of Ryan and kaina.

"Buddy! You look like you slept in the attic! You look weary" he said in fake sympathy like a caring wife to Ryan.

"Stop pretending you care! But i think you were the one who slept in the wrong place. Why is your lips broken?" Ryan asked. "Oh it was my girlfriend that did it to me when we were in the process......" Leonard said and winked at kaina.

"You have a girlfriend?" Ryan's eyes widened in pure surprise. Leonard nodded still shining his teeth looking at her. But he didn't say a word and sat on his seat.

"So tell me about your girlfriend. What attracted you to her?" he said showing all his teeth. "Uh i liked her from the day i set my eyes on her......she is pretty so innocent and sweet" Leonard said with sparkling eyes.

Kaina unknowingly began to blush. What Ryan said next almost made her faint "what if you find out your girlfriend is married?" He asked with an expressionless face.

Leonard too was taken aback "married? No she isn't" he said looking at kaina as if trying to seek reassurance. She shook her head softly, she turned and quickly turned and walked away. Resounding laughter soon filled the room, kaina walked back to her office in a trance.

"Ryan almost revealed they were married.......what is he thinking? Preventing her from finding love when he doesn't love her?" She thought her fists clenching in anger. But she didn't know he doesn't know she's his girlfriend.

Soon it was evening, she put her things together and headed to the toilet to free herself. As she was urinating, she heard the door lock click from outside. "Who's there? Someone is in here" she said but she heard snickers and the footsteps hurried away.

As she stood up to leave, to her horror the door had been jammed tightly. The window shifted slightly and fire extinguisher began to rain on her

"what the hell is your deal?" She screamed but there was no reply. By the time the fire extinguisher stopped, she was weak from inhaling it and could only talk weakly.

Leonard who was heading to the elevator heard a weak voice calling for help from the toilet. He stopped in his tracks, and Cautiously walked there because it could be a trap.

"Who's in there?" He asked feeling something off. "Leo? Leo is that you? I......" She was about to talk but was completely drained of strength and fainted.

That was when he saw the white fumes coming out from under the door "someone is trapped in there and poured with extinguisher?" He thought and hit the door with all his might. It fell open

"Kaina! Kaina.........who did this to you?" He asked scooping her in his arms and running for the elevator.

She opened her eyes small but her vision was blurry "Leo? Why are you still at the company?" She asked. "Silly! If i had left, you would have stayed there till morning"

he said dropping her carefully in his car. "Should i take you home?" He asked. Kaina eyes flew open, she panicked "i feel soooo weak....can you take care of me a bit first?" She said pretending to be very weak.

"Sure, then lets head to my house" he said trying to hide the happiness in his voice. Kaina sighed in relief and reclined back on the chair closing her eyes.

When they got to his estate, the servants offered to carry her in as she was sleeping. But he refused to let anyone touch her and carried her upstairs himself which made all the female servants jealous. "I wonder if he is not a man........ "

He doesn't seem interested in women, this is the first he has carried" the servants gossiped as they watched him go upstairs with kaina nestled in his arms

The moment Leonard laid Kaina gently on his bed, he couldn't help but feel a rush of protectiveness over her. He wanted to make sure she was comfortable and safe after the traumatic experience.

He sat by her side as she slept, watching over her like a guardian angel. In that quiet moment, he realized just how much he cared for this woman who had entered his life so unexpectedly.

He couldn't shake the feeling of responsibility for Kaina's safety. As he sat there, contemplating his feelings, a plan began to form in his mind.

He would find out who was responsible for trapping her in the bathroom and make sure they faced consequences. No one messes with someone he cares about without facing his wrath.

As Kaina stirred awake, she found herself enveloped in warmth and comfort. Looking up, she saw Leonard gazing at her with concern etched into his features.

His voice was gentle as he said, "You're safe now." It took a moment for reality to sink in - he had come to rescue her without hesitation or second thoughts.

Kaina felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards him but also confusion about their relationship status after their shared experiences over these past few days.

Then her head clicked! Ryan.....!!! She's in big trouble. She didn't spend the night at home and didnt tell him.
