Chapter 6 The Ruthless Alpha hidden luna

Emily POV

I kept on running into the woods not knowing where I was going. All I wanted was to get away from the beast that just killed my parents... my heart racing, legs shaky, I could feel my legs getting weak, I clipped on a tree branch and stumbled on the floor.

I crawled in front of a tree hiding, hoping this beast would not find me. Moments later I saw a man standing behind me, I could feel a mate pull, something I haven't felt in my entire life.

Mate!

Mate!!!

My wolf growled within me.

For the first time I felt my wolf within me,but it didn't last long.

The man behind me darted towards me.

He had Dark irresistible eyes, a handsome face, chiseled chin, and long brown hair. Tall and muscular body.

"Who are you?" I said with a shaky voice.

Looking behind me in shock as to where the ruthless beast had gone too.

"You..you are human?" He said in a bit of a surprised tone.

I stared at him with conflicted eyes..

"It's....it's you, you are my mate" the man said with a bit of excitement.

"You feel it too right?The mate pull?" he uttered and I glanced at him

"Who are you?" I asked.

"I am known by many names".

"most people call me THE RUTHLESS ALPHA"

"Most people call me THE BLACK DEMON" He said with confidence.

"I am Damian Parker, Alpha of the crescent moon pack," he said.

"You must be Emily?" he asked.

"Yes, Emily...Emily von heist" I said with my face down.

He cupped my chin, his gaze sent shivers down my spine,my pheromones rising, his touch igniting my soul, my heart ached for more of his touch.

Waking up in the morning, I was unfamiliar with the environment.

Soft light crept across unfamiliar wallpaper, casting shadows that didn't belong to my memory. The sheets smelled of detergent I didn't recognize. I blinked at the ceiling plain, white. The air felt still, like the room was holding its breath, waiting for me to remember where I was.

"Where I'm i" I muttered.

My bare feet brushed against the cool floor as I drifted toward the window. With a gentle pull, the curtains parted, and I could see the beauty of this mansion.

For a moment, the silence hummed with beauty too perfect to name.

"Good morning Emily" I heard a voice behind me, voice sounding familiar.

I turned, it was Damian, the alpha.

"Where I'm i"? I asked.

"You are in crescent moon pack Emily" he smiled.

In a flash I remembered how the beast killed my parents last night.

"My parents were killed last night by a werewolf, its eyes were red and scary and...." I said with tears threatening to fall from my eyes.

Damian took me into his embrace and cheered me up. I felt safe in his arms,.I could feel how perfectly built he was.

"It's not your fault" he said with sadness in his voice.

In my old life, I wasn't close to my mother nor my father, but at least they were alive. I was naive and weak in trusting my sister Vivian, alongside the person she claims to be her mate.

How do I stop my sister and her so-called mate if my wolf won't even obey me? I said with sadness.

BZZZ, BZZZZ, BZZZZ

I heard a buzzing sound, and it was the sound of my phone vibrating. Damian released me from his embrace. He looked like he was about to say something but he straightened up and acted normal.

I picked up the phone, it was Amy, my best friend calling

"Hello Emily" Amy's voice was heard on the phone.

"Hi Amy, how are you?" I replied.

"I'm so sorry Emily, I heard about your parents, it's all over the news, where are you?"

"Thank you Amy, but I'm fine"

"I am with the alpha of the crescent moon pack," I said with blush.

"What"! Amy asked in surprise.

"How?"

"Well it turns out I have found my mate Amy" I said with a smile.

"The Alpha of the crescent moon pack is your mate?" Amy said with joy in her voice.

"Yes, fortunately he is," I chuckled.

The moon goddess was merciful enough to give me a mate this time, in my old life I had no mate and I never got to feel my wolf.

"I'll be back at the nightfall pack later Amy, how are things going there"?

"Well, your sister Vivian is doing most of the work as nightfall pack has no one to lead them". Amy said.

"Alright Amy thank you, take care of yourself and keep an eye on Vivian" I said and hung up.

"Nightfall pack has no leader," Damian said while caressing his chin.

"I'll arrange a meeting with the council for a new leader," Damian said.

Damian arranged a meeting and members of the nightfall pack were present, including Vivian, Jimmy sat beside Vivian, he had an evil grin on his face.

"Thank you all for being present today in this meeting," Damian said.

"We mourn the loss of the alpha of the nightfall pack alongside his Luna, leaving nightfall pack without a leader to lead them"

"Given the circumstances of the situation at hand, we will have to appoint a successor to lead the nightfall pack".

"Nightfall pack will be led by Alpha Richard rightful and only legitimate daughter" Damian said with authority.

I got a glance at Vivian, she looked at me with hatred like she knew what was coming next, my heart pounding to what Damian was about to do.

"Emily von heist" Damian gestured his hand to me to come up the stage.

Walking to the stage I could sense all eyes on me, some were muttering words to each other.

"Emily von Heist will be the successor to Alpha Richard, given that she is the only rightful daughter".

The crowd started muttering words, I looked at Damian in disbelief as to what he has done, "I can't lead I pack" I said to myself

"She has no wolf!!!!," someone from the crowd said.

"She's weak!!, "she can't even defend herself, how will she defend the pack?

SILENCE!! Damian yelled.

The crowd went silent as Damian yelled.
