"Listen. You will go to your boss and tell him that Sylvester killed all your men, but you activated your trump card just in time, and burnt him to ashes." Sylvester uttered.
The red-roped man nodded and bowed. Somewhere in his body, his true self knew the truth but there was something blocking him from speaking.
There was also the strange sense of death if he decided to go through that blockage.
"Good. You may leave, and take the body of your men with you." With that out of the way, Sylvester walked back into the home, and he started thinking.
The cultivation world was really scary. Despite the fact of trying not to attract any attention, someone had still found him out.
Right before he could go deeper, the doorbell rang, and he went to answer it.
"Good day Master. It is I, your beloved disciple." The person behind the door was a young man, and in his hand was a small box.
Judging from the aura leaking from the box, it had to be something different.
"Gerald. Who told you I was here?" Sylvester raised his brow, this was what he had always wanted to avoid but with this talkative of his student coming here, it was rather inevitable.
"Master! It really is you." Geral didn't wait for an invitation before stepping into the house.
"I can't even sense your level, Master General. It must be because of my very low level. I lack the ability to even comprehend your strength." Gerald continued, ignoring the fact that Sylvester looked rather pissed.
"You didn't answer my question or you want me to find out for myself?" Sylvester pinched the skin between his brows.
Gerald smiled, awkwardly dropping the box, "Hozert alerted the secret group chat." He blurted out, causing Sylvester to roll his eyes.
He should have known that Hozert wouldn't let the matter die down.
"Thank you for your gift, Gerald. I'd take time to truly enjoy it." Sylvester smiled, "I remember you own a Housing company right?" He asked, his mind thinking about how he would inform Emily of the new change.
"It's only because of your wise words and help, Master. I wouldn't have broken through the Grand Warrior stage, and now I can fight and do a lot of things to support myself." Gerald was ever ready to fulfill Sylvester's wish.
"Do you need anything? Master Wright? As long as it involves a home, I can get you anything you want." Gerald said quickly, bringing out his phone. There was no one who would miss a chance to fulfill the wishes of the Great Grandmaster of the Continental War 1.
"I need a secluded place, to hide me from some sight until I am ready to present myself to the world, and also..."
Before Sylvester could finish his words, Gerald shoved his phone into his face.
"I have the right place; a small cottage where you can get everything you need, from foodstuffs to transportation." Gerald was all talks but as soon Sylvester raised his hand, he kept quiet.
Sylvester took the phone, and slowly scrolled and in the next minute, he found what he wanted.
Just as he was about to hand over the phone to Gerald, the doorbell rang.
"It's my wife." Sylvester gasped, and he looked back but it seemed like the red-roped man had truly carried all his partners, he never expected her to come in so early so he was quite surprised.
"You do not know me!" Sylvester turned to Gerald with a stern look, and the only way he could get the man to listen was to release a bit of his aura.
The door knob twisted, and Emily made her way into the house, she was about to say something when she realized that Sylvester wasn't alone.
"What's going on?" Her voice came out in a breathy whisper as she looked from her husband to the stranger in her house.
Sylvester instantly took the initiative, knowing that if Emily got a whiff of what was going on, he would never be able to truly protect her.
"Welcome home, dear. This man said, he was interested in your company and would like to offer a partnership to it and it comes with a house and a good car." Sylvester smiled, looking pointedly at Gerald who simply nodded. He could never defy his boss.
"Oh wow." Emily was surprised. Ever since Sylvester got his legs back, there had been various kinds of good news and there were unexpected.
"I don't know how to say this but I'd like us to discuss this further and I'd like to know if you are interested in what I am offering you." Gerald took the hint, and handed his business care to Emily.
Sylvester nodded, acknowledging the smartness of his student. Everything was going as planned. He would do his best to convince Emily, while he would also be able to achieve his own goals.
Emily escorted Gerald out and she came back with a letter in her hands.
"I saw this in the mailbox. Grandmother is inviting us for a party? And on behalf of Cullen? Did Cullen win the bet?"
Sylvester frowned when he heard the question. There was no way that loser would win the bet, unless he is on to something devious.
