Chapter 5 My daughter, Who Will Not Be Wronged

"Well, it's getting late, baby, mommy will show you your room." With a gentle smile on her face, Megan gently pulled Bailey's hand up, the warmth of her palm conveying a strong motherly love as she led her slowly towards the second floor.

Arriving at the door, Megan gently opened it with a gleam of anticipation in her eyes and joy in her voice, "Let's see, do you like this room?"

In the room, bright light shone unreservedly through the floor-to-ceiling windows and sprinkled wantonly in every corner. The European style decoration was delicate and elegant, exuding an air of luxury. At the end of the bed on the carpet, a variety of lovely dolls were neatly placed. Soft curtains hung around the bed, gently fluttering in the breeze.

Bailey could tell right away that her parents had put a lot of thought into preparing the room.

"If you don't like it, don't force yourself oh, your dad and I can still prepare other styles of rooms for you." Megan raised her hand and gently touched Bailey's head, her movements intimate and gentle, then said, "Baby, if you like old castles, Mommy and Daddy will just give you one!"

Bailey hurriedly shook her head back and forth, her sincere tone, "No, mom, this room is just fine, I'm really very happy with it."

Megan nodded slightly. Ruby has just heard from the housekeeper that as soon as Bailey came back, her father gave her a diamond ring worth eighty million dollars and gave her all the goodies in the house to use, and she is very jealous.

Bailey, with a mirror in her heart, knew exactly what Ruby was thinking and just looked at her quietly, not saying a word.

At that moment, Ms. Georgia, the housekeeper, came running over with hurried steps and a few tensions on her face. "Ms. Ruby, there's something I need to talk to you about."

But this was the first time that someone cared so much if she would be aggravated.

The tip of her heart surged with a warm current, as if it was the first time she truly felt that her family was a kind of existence, and that feeling of being protected and cared for made Bailey's eyes slightly hot.

A short while later, Alpha King heard a knock on the door and the male soldier outside walked in and said respectfully towards Alpha King : "King, the doorman called to say that there is a visitor claiming to be Harland's family, Ms. Victoria."

Harland's family?Didn't Bailey just get picked up from Harland's family? Why are they coming after us again?

She'd noticed earlier that Bailey had entered without her luggage.
