The couple was really afraid that Ethan wouldn't be able to pick up their daughter.
Fortunately, he found her, but Ethan's car had another accident on the road.
Finally, they managed to get home.
As soon as the car pulled up, Megan couldn't wait to rush up to it.
When she saw Bailey walking down from the car unharmed, her hanging heart was slightly put down, her eyes instantly red, a hand will Bailey tightly in her arms, her voice with a trace of choking, "Your brother said that there was a car accident halfway down the road, scared us to death, are you hurt? Are you and your brother okay?"
No one in Harland's house had ever cared about her this much before, and Bailey had a hard time adjusting for a moment, standing in place a bit bewildered yet feeling a tinge of warmth.
Alpha King Richardson cupped Bailey's face with tears in his eyes and asked with concern, "Baby, you're finally back, how have you been all these years at Harland's? Have you been wronged?"
"Pretty good."
A few simple words once again brought tears to Alpha King's eyes; it was good that his baby wasn't out there suffering.
"Mom, let's be happy that our sister is back," said Ethan, who had never spoken.
Megan wiped the tear tracks from the corners of her eyes and said, "Let's go inside so our daughter doesn't get tired of standing."
"Okay, okay, go inside." Megan said removing Bailey's backpack and handing it to Alpha King. ethan followed her inside.
Alpha King felt a pang of sadness as he held the worn out backpack and then looked at the worn out shoes Bailey wore on her feet.
How has his daughter been doing all these years? She's an adult now and doesn't even have a decent pair of shoes, and she can't even get new ones when they're broken, so how do the Harland's treat their baby girl?
Thinking of this Alpha King slowed down his pace, waiting for them to walk far away took out his cell phone and ordered, "Pack the latest style clothes and shoes bags of the season in the luxury store, send them here today, first send five hundred pieces."
"Bailey, this is your home from now on." Megan walked through the villa gates with Bailey on her arm.
Bailey followed her parents into the villa and was instantly struck by the sight before her.
Next to the villa was an ancient castle. What surprised her even more was that there was a private airplane parked not far away and a vast airfield next to it.
Just as he entered the living room, his brother Ethan clapped his hands with a smile on his face, and a dozen servants immediately came in carrying trays.
Alpha King walked over to Bailey, his eyes full of favor, and said gently, "Baby, these are all gifts for you, take your pick, take whatever you like, don't be polite."
Bailey's eyes wandered among the trays, only to see that those trays were filled with all kinds of gifts, ranging from dazzling necklaces, delicate and ornate watches, and limited edition bags, and taking out just any one of them, all of them exuded a dazzling aura of luxury.
There was no shortage of valuable jewelry and limited edition luxury items, and she silently marveled at the wealth of her birth parents' family.
Without a moment's hesitation, Bailey picked out the most understated looking diamond ring from the plethora of gifts.
The diamond ring is small and uncluttered, and looks a little out of place in a pile of lavish gifts.
Alpha King saw his daughter's choice, slightly stunned, then smiled and joked, "Daughter, you're saving father's money, how come you only picked the cheapest of them all, a diamond ring worth only eighty million dollars?"
"It's only worth eighty million ......" Bailey repeats this silently in her mind as she realizes that the power of wealth in her biological parents' family is more powerful than she ever imagined.
Originally thought that the diamond ring was already worth a lot of money, I did not realize that in the father's mouth it was only the "cheapest".
At this point, the servants on the side couldn't help but look at each other.
A young servant curled his lips and thought: Look at this new young lady. She doesn't seem to have seen much of the world. She's been picking and choosing, and she only knows about jewels and diamonds."
Another servant also followed with her eyes echoing, meaning to say, "That's right, the most expensive one here is that vintage oil painting from the British Museum. It's worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I can't believe she didn't choose it."
Bailey guessed what the servants were thinking from the look in their eyes, but she didn't show it.
In fact, although she didn't know the exact price of each gift, she could roughly guess that they were all worth a lot of money.
The vintage oil painting, naturally, she could see that it was extraordinary, except that she felt that she had just returned to her biological family and she didn't want to make too much of a show of it.
Megan seemed to have sensed a hint of discomfort in Bailey, she gave the maids a stern look, then walked over to Bailey and gently held her hand, saying gently, "Don't pay any attention to them, as long as you like it, whatever you choose is fine. You are our precious daughter, your preference is what matters."
After saying that, Alpha King looked at the diamond ring Bailey chose and smiled happily, "This diamond ring is so pretty, it matches you. From now on, ah, whatever you want, we'll give it to you. You deserve the best of everything."
In the spacious and bright living room, the crystal chandelier shed soft light, reflecting the coffee table filled with exquisite desserts and fresh fruits.
Richardson looked at Bailey with favor, his eyes full of love: "Baby, this is your home, don't be formal, these desserts, fruits and coffee, you can eat whatever you like, if you don't have enough, then let the maid prepare."
Bailey nods softly, picking up her coffee cup and taking a sip.
The coffee slides across the tongue and that unique flavor instantly blossoms on the taste buds.
With a keen sense of taste, she was surprised to find that the coffee had a lot going for it - from the Elida estate in Panama - with a captivating aroma of tea, jasmine and berries.
This rare coffee, which is favored even by the Queen of England, fetched $1,003 for a pound at a recent auction!
She raised an eyebrow slightly, a flash of surprise in her eyes, not expecting to taste such precious coffee in her new home.
Megan had been keeping an eye on Bailey's expression, seeing that she seemed to like the coffee, she smiled and pushed the dessert in front of her, "Drink more if you like it, it's all prepared according to your taste." As she said that, her eyes suddenly dimmed, as if she had fallen into memories.
"Baby, there's something Mommy's been wanting to tell you." Megan's voice was a little shaky and her eyes were slightly red, "You know, when you were 2 years old, mommy took you to a dance. There were a lot of people at the dance, and when mommy wasn't paying attention, you disappeared ......"
At that, her voice choked up and tears slid down her cheeks. "Over the years, mom and dad searched for you for a long, long time, almost everywhere possible. We even thought ...... thought you would never come back ......"
Richardson also came over and sat down next to Bailey, looking grave and full of self-reproach, "All these years, we never gave up looking for you, and kept posting messages, just hoping that someday we would hear from you. Until the Moonlight Pack police called, we didn't know you were alive, and we also realized that you are our real daughter, and Ruby ......."
Bailey listened quietly with mixed feelings in her heart. She could imagine her parents' pain and suffering over the years, and felt heartbroken at what they were going through.
Megan wiped her tears and then said, "Ruby's life is also hard, her birth mother died in a war, and her birth father's whereabouts are still unknown. We've raised her for nineteen years, and we've long since grown attached. So, we would like to ask you what you think, let her continue to stay at home, and you will be the elder sister from now on, do you think it's okay?"
Bailey looks pale and after a moment's reflection, she says softly, "I respect your decision, Mom and Dad. After all, she's been in this family for so long, too."
Megan was so relieved when she heard that, and a relieved smile appeared on her face as she held Bailey's hand tightly, "Baby, you're so kind! Mommy knew you'd understand us."
Richardson also smiled and nodded, "Our daughter just understands things. From now on, let's live a good life as a family."
