Chapter 4 The Mysterious Message

Zaliyah's heart was racing as she stared at the symbol on the note. She couldn't believe that the DiMarcos would send her a message, especially not one that seemed to be warning her away from them. As she stood there, frozen in uncertainty, Zaliyah's mind was filled with questions. Who had sent the note, and what did they mean? Was it a genuine warning, or was it some kind of trap? She thought back to her encounter with the DiMarcos, to the way they had seemed to be watching her.

Could it be that they were trying to manipulate her, to use her for their own purposes? But as she looked at the note again, Zaliyah saw something that made her heart skip a beat.
