Chapter 6 You are welcome to stay if you want

Clara was chased by two unknown people. In her attempt to run away from the two strangers, she fell and hit her head against the sidewalk railing causing her to pass out. She woke up in Ragnor's mansion and after a short conversation, she slept off and woke up wearing pyjamas and on a bed.

Clara got down from the bed yawning and stretching. She found a glass of water and medication on the bedside table with clear instructions 'Eat me, 'Drink me'.

Clara took the medication and after studying it for a while she took it and drank the water. She walked to the window and was looking outside. There was a beautiful garden with a swing. A pond not far away from the garden. Clara smiled enjoying the view outside and was excited to see a swing. She had only seen them in pictures and never had the chance to sit on one. Laura also never allowed her to make friends with other people aside from Jessica.

"Do you like what you see?" Ragnor asked leaning against the door frame at the entrance wearing a long black jacket and black trousers. His hair was neat and his face did not have any expression.

"What! o yeah, is beautiful" Clara responded "Can I go there, I like swings but have never got the chance to use one," She said lowering her head.

"Sure, take a shower and let's have breakfast together. We can go into the garden after," He said still with no expression.

Clara smiled and then she remembered the bath with so many knobs.

"Can you help me fill the big bath?" Clara asked before she could hold herself back. "Shit, that is like an open invitation for a man to do what he wants with you," She thought "Never mind, I will manage," She said trying to change her request.

Ragnor smiled for the first time revealing his dimples. He walked toward Clara, kissed her forehead, and left the room after. Clara kept hitting her forehead with her hand after he left. She didn't realize there was someone else in the room with her, who had walked in right after Ragnor exited her room.

"Ma'am I am here to assist you, what would you like me to do," the servant said and bowed her head respectfully.

Clara jumped out of her skin and held the window sill for support with one hand and the other hand rested on her chest.

"Sorry ma'am I didn't mean to scare you" the servant apologized honestly.

"Does okay, just that I didn't know what time you came in" Clara explained "Please help me with the bath."

The servant nodded and soon Clara was done and all dressed up. She wore a simple pink dress. It had a big flare from the waist down and it was up to knee level. It was sleeveless but had a V-neck shape collar.

Clara's hair was left loose and it flowed down her shoulders to her waist with beautiful curls. She descended the stairs and Ragnor was at the end of the stairs waiting for her. He took her hand and walked her to the dining area. They were soon done with breakfast and proceeded into the garden.

The first thing Clara did was run to the swing. She sat on it and felt heavenly. Ragnor helped her swing it by giving her a little push. She was so happy and laughing. When she was done with the swing, she moved toward the pond. It was filled with goldfish. Clara sat there watching the fish. Ragnor walked up to her and offered her his hand.

"Come with me let me show you something," He said with a smile.

Clara took his hand and they walked towards a door in the garden. He typed a code and the door opened. There was an elevator, they got in and went down to the ground floor. Clara's mouth dropped when the elevator door opened. The room was filled with different kinds of flowers, they looked like they were giving off light on their own. There was a huge glass and through the glass, Clara could see a lot of fish of different species and colours.

"Are we inside the ocean or something?" Clara asked bewildered.

"Yes, I like to come here to relax. The ocean is beautiful with all its creatures" He explained.

Clara was wondering how big the place was and if the mansion was sitting on top of an ocean.

"The ocean covers 25% of this property. This underground room was made to create a wall between the land and the ocean purposely for this view you are seeing now." Ragnor explained to her. "If we go out and walk further, it will seem like we are on an Island" he added.

Clara smiled and nodded excitedly. She stood in front of the glass watching the creatures in the ocean. Big and small, and all kinds of creatures. Ragnor stood behind her and watched the view with her.

"This is so beautiful, I wish I could see this every day," Clara said out loud.

"You are welcome to stay if you want. I really don't mind," Ragnor said and held her shoulders and turned her to face him.

He tucked a strand of hair behind her ears and said "I will be happy to see you every day," He said looking into her eyes with his emerald green eyes and alluring smile.

Clara felt a bit uneasy. Wild thoughts ran through her mind which were a bit crazy for her. She was lost in his gaze and for one reason she wanted to kiss him. Her whole body felt weird and she didn't quite understand what was happening.

Ragnor looked at her and smiled revealing his dimples again. Clara almost lost it. Something she couldn't control was drawing her to this man standing in front of her but before she could do anything, Ragnor dropped one of his hands from her shoulder and with the other, he turned her to face the glass with him to watch the creatures in the ocean.

They stayed there for a while. He got her some tea and prepared some food for her. They both ate and sat on the sofa for a while before returning to the mansion.

When they walked into the mansion, Clara saw the clock on the wall and realised she was seriously late. She should be cleaning the club by now and getting it ready to open.

"I have to quickly go back to the club. My madam will kill me if she finds out I didn't get the place ready" She said worriedly.

"Do you really have to go back there and continue doing that? Don't you want to stay here?" Ragnor asked with no expression on his face.

"I like this wonderful place but my friend Jessica, would need me too" Clara explained.

Ragnor called the chauffeur to bring the car around. He walked Clara outside and it was the black limousine. He went inside the car with her. She was a bit surprised he was going with her to the club but ignored her thoughts when she remembered, he also visits the place too.

Soon they arrived at the club and the chauffeur opened the door for them. They both got down and Clara ran through the back to her room and quickly changed from the expensive dress she was wearing to her ordinary clothing and grabbed her cleaning stuff.

Ragnor frowned seeing her run away like that, he walked through the main entrance and found Laura sitting behind the counter. Clara appeared in ordinary clothes a few minutes later and got to cleaning. He frowned looking at what was going on.

Laura not caring about the presence of another person started yelling at Clara. She apologizes as she quickly cleans up the place.

Ragnor's expression became colder and the temperature in the room dropped significantly. Laura out of fear of the loving man who had suddenly turned ice-cold stopped yelling at Clara and left the club hall to one of the private rooms.
