Chapter 3: Family Ties

The next morning, Yamal's father, Marco Franco, summoned him to their family's mansion. Marco's expression was stern, his eyes blazing with anger.

"Yamal, I've received reports that you were seen with Carina Mafia last night," Marco growled. "Do you know what that means?"

Yamal nodded, feeling a knot in his stomach. "It means trouble, Father."

Marco's face turned red with rage. "Trouble? It means war! The Mafia family will stop at nothing to destroy us. You must stay away from Carina, Yamal. Do you understand?"

Yamal nodded, but his heart was already racing with thoughts of Carina. He knew he couldn't stay away from her, no matter the danger.

Marco's expression softened slightly, and he placed a hand on Yamal's shoulder. "I know you're a grown man, Yamal, but you must think of the family. We can't afford to have you getting mixed up with the Mafia."

Yamal felt a pang of guilt, knowing his father was right. But his love for Carina was stronger than his loyalty to his family. He knew he had to find a way to be with her, no matter the cost.

Marco's eyes narrowed, as if sensing Yamal's defiance. "You're playing with fire, Yamal. Don't say I didn't warn you."
