Chapter 5 OBSESSION

MORRIGAN'S POV

"I am not going to reject you." He growled, sending a shiver down my spine.

"Why? Why not?" I questioned desperately. I needed to get out of here and away from this man.

"Because you're mine."

I opened and shut my mouth trying to think of ways to make him reject me or at least let me out.

"If you do not let me go, I will kill every single person in your pack." I threatened, praying and hoping I looked and sounded threatening enough.

Before I could process what happened I was on my back. Zephyr straddled me, locking both my hands on my sides.

"What are you trying to do! Get off me." I struggled under him trying to get hit off of me.

I panicked and my heart began thumping loudly. Was he going to rape me? I had been in a situation like this one too many times when I was still younger, when I wasn't strong yet but I had always gotten away.

"You will do nothing of that sort. If you try it I will wrap you up in fucking wolfsbane and keep you locked up in here like a fucking doll." He growled.

I let out a loud howl, hoping to get him off of me. The windows vibrated violently,and he let out a sharp hiss but his grip didn't loosen.

"What was that?" He questioned.

My eyes widened in disbelief, It didn't work on him. The disbelief turned into cold hard fear. I hadn't felt this scared in a long time. If my soul howl did not work on him then how was I going to defend myself against him. This room did not have any stones or minerals I could use against him.

The worst part was my body wanted him to get even closer to me, as if he was not already too close. My body and mind were working against each other.

"Let me go." I screamed desperately kicking, hoping to get him away from me. If he decided to force himself on me I could not do anything against him, he was stronger than me by a long shot and he was also bigger than me.

"Calm down, I am not trying to force myself on you. The only time I will touch you is when you want it." He said, as if reading my mind. He got off me and stepped away from the bed.

I sat up and moved to a corner far away from him. I watched him watching me. My breathing was fast and unstable. I did not trust this man, how could I when he had locked me up for days.

"What was that howl you let out? Another power? How many of these abilities do you have?" He asked sternly.

I glared at him. "It is not your business." I snapped back.

"Look sweetheart, no matter what you say you are not going anywhere. You belong to me now and until you accept that you are not leaving this room." He said before walking out.

I was left sitting on the bed, stunned by his words. This guy was crazy, wasn't he. I laid on my back and squeezed my eyes shut.

How was I ever gonna get out of this place?

Should I just use my soul howl on Kierra? What if she's too weak and I end up shattering her mind. I groaned in frustration and rolled over onto my stomach. If I did that and her mind shattered they would never let me live because she was their Beta's mate.Although we were not close she was still nice to me, or maybe she was pretending? But why would she.

I only had three powers, Geokinesis, Blood memory and soul howl. With my geokinesis I could control rocks, minerals and terrains, I could access memories and information in one's blood and with soul howl I could stir emotions, sometimes I mistakenly summoned lost spirits and if someone was weak it could shatter their minds.

I could use my power to cause an earthquake, but this place might crumble and bury me underneath it. So that was not an option, I wanted to escape in one piece with all my limbs still intact.

The longer I stayed here the higher the risk of the curse activating. I could not afford to stay in this pack.

I was frustrated and helpless. I had never felt this way before, I always managed to get out of any situation no matter what but this was different. This was much more serious and dangerous than any situation I had ever been in before, my life was on the line and so was my sanity.

If only I hadn't met those pack wolves who made me lose my food, I would have not been so hungry and chased after a rabbit into that stupid trap. I would have been happily roaming around not caged in a room.

I curled into a ball on the bed as tears rolled down my cheeks. I began violently sobbing.

My freedom was gone and my happiness too. I was caged in a room by a person I never wanted to find.

Was I gonna be trapped here and suffer the same fate as my parents?
