Three months passed by so quickly.
Under the dark blue sky with bright stars was a five or six star hotel called "L.H" brightly lit.
Seen inside, behind a desktop, is a brown, haired lady, her fair skin glowing under the room's bright light. Fingers dancing on the keyboards in front of her, with a tight lips, yet smiling face.
"Here you go, Sir," Gigi said, handing a room key to the elderly man in front of her. "Enjoy your stay." She said with a warm smile.
The man nodded and smiled back at her, then let with the hotel assistant to show him his room.
Gigi has been in Abuja for 2 months now. It took her a while to settle down, but it wasn't difficult for her since she had planned ahead.
She got an apartment before she landed, so what was left was to make it to her taste.
Then she went to the chapter she was been posted for missions, familiarized herself with everyone and everything. And luckily, everyone was friendly and accepting, especially the Pastors and media team.
As she was not only a media leader back at her chapter but also the global church media secretary. So she knew the other chapter's leaders and team.
"Hey, tired?" Ben asked.
"Not really. It hasn't even been up to an hour since we started work. Don't tell me you're already tired." Gigi laughed at him.
Ben was the first friend she got to know at the hotel. He was of average height, slim but not too skinny, and dark in complexion, with a bracket smile.
He wasn't handsome or that good-looking. He can't be compared to Michael's appearance.
He was just okay. Not ugly.
"The elevator is giving me crazy headaches, like I feel like throwing up," Ben complained.
"I know, I feel it sometimes. Sorry about that. Just take a deep breath and drink some water. Enough water. I can't afford to carry you if you faint or help you hold your hair and rub your back if you start throwing up." Gigi joked.
"Hmm," he scoffed, "Very funny. I'll do you back."
Just then, the reception door opened, and a short, hairy lady with slightly dark brown skin walked in.
"Wassup, what are you guys talking about?" Jennifer asked as she walked to Gigi's side.
Jennifer and Gigi are the receptionists of this prestigious hotel.
"Gigi is making fun of me," Ben said, pretending to be angry.
Gigi and Jennifer exchanged glances and began to laugh because of the way Ben looked at the moment, like a child being bullied.
"Really? Did she? You mean this Ice Queen showed you her side already?" Jennifer said while trying to hold back her laugh.
"Let him be. He's been lazy lately." Gigi said while looking at some files.
"You two are mean," Ben said as he sat down on the nearby couch.
"Please, cheer up. We have a long night ahead of us. We can't deal with you right now." Gigi said.
Ben snorted and was busy with his phone for a while.
Jennifer nodded her head with a smile and continued her work.
And there was silence in the room.
Gigi works only at night because of her missions. While on missions, she had to have a job or business to sustain her needs. But they can't affect her time and devotions on the mission ground.
Her main priority is the mission and not work or business.
And she was lucky enough to secure this job. Though she only worked at night, the pay was nice. Also, with the little business she established in her second year of school, as a Typist, she was okay financially
