Chapter 7 Battle

"Sy. System?". The boy managed to ask in fear.

Alan's Mana slightly flared out, it's red aura could slightly be seen.

"Don't mind about that". Alan said, his tone cold and dangerous. "You should be thinking about yourself right now".

The boy gaze narrowed around, and eventually landed on Alan's watch.

"Level 10?". The boy asked in fear. "Wait are yo-?".

"Don't mind about that, or the incident at the exam hall. Just think of the beaten you're about to receive for bullying my friend".

Alan said as he Mana began to flared out violently.

"It's just like last time ". The boy said.

Suddenly the system screen popped up

"Just what I wanted". Alan smirk victoriously.

He swiftly sprun towards halv, his Mana still flaring out violently, making halv to froze in fear.

Bang! Alan released an effective punch, directly on halv's abdomen.

"Argg!". Halv groaned in pain as he fell in the ground.

Without having alot of toughness due to lesser training, halv's body was already aching from the blow which was sent to him. "You sure are weak".

Bang! Bang! Whoosh! Bang!

Multiple attacks were sent unto halv, which quickly made his HP to reduce effectively

"You bastard.. ". Halv yelled as he stood up. He stagger backward and then created multiple serpents with his flame ability. Due to the excessive attack, it was barely easy for Alan to dodge all of the attack .

"Great moves". Alan said, his tone more colder.

Alan muttered, then he swiftly dashes towards halv, but this time, he made it slow. Just as he was sighted, halv created a fire serpent which headed towards Alan. Alan then used his speed and agility at once. Which me made him faster and agile.

In a blink of an eye, Alan was already standing a few inches from halv. Cold ran through halv spine as his gaze landed on Alan. 'He's fast '. Halv complimented.

"Insolent".

Paw!! A punch landed, directly on halv's backbone, which made him groan in pain and then collapsed.

'The system called this a hard mission '. Alan thought. 'But it wasn't even hard '.

"Al.. Alan?". Jackson calmly muttered. He was shaking at the spot. He was shocked by Alan's battle against halv. Alan slowly walked towards Alan and then stretched out his hands. As Jackson stood up, his expression was filled with amazement. "That was amazing Alan. Are you hurt or injured?". Jackson asked in a low tone.

Alan then nodded slightly. "Yeah just a minor one. I can deal with the pain, so there's no need to worry about me. Cuz I'll be fine". Alan reassuring words swept away the thought on Jackson's mind in an instant.

Though, Alan was trying to act so tough, but on the inside, the impact of the flame snake was slightly effective.

' That attack was effective. But I can manage '.

"So, what are we gonna do with this guy?". Jackson asked in concern. Alan whose thoughts have already gone wild, quickly regained itself.

"Well! We'll leave him here. Someone would definitely help him". Alan answered. He was afraid being caught or expelled, cause it would definitely be a big mess for him and his family's reputation.

"Are you sure that someone would help him? ". Jackson asked in concern, since he didn't want to be into trouble.

"Sure, I'm really sure that someone would help him. ". Alan answered. "Someone like the guards or maybe his friends". Alan answered in a reassuring tone.

"If that's what you think , then we should start heading to our dorm before the guards spot us". Jackson said. The two started heading to their dorms in a rush.

Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong

The school bell rang continuously, indicating that it was time for the school's dinner. Every student started heading out of their dorm to the school hall, where dinner would be served.

Alan and Jackson, walked hand in hand towards the hall. They entered the line where students would be served. After they've gotten their meal, they then went to an empty desk, which was made specifically for low level students .

Alan felt a surge of hunger, his stomach

was empty, and all he could think of was to start eating immediately . Alan started putting multiple spoons of food in his mouth non stop without calming down

After some minutes, he was already done with his food, then an unexpected notification popped up.

Alan was amazed. It was cool to him, that his HP would just keep increasing if he continued to eat, cause he was afraid what would become of him if his HP dropped to zero. "Jackson! You don't feel hungry. Do you mind, if I take your food?". Alan asked.

"Nah! I don't mind. You can take it". Jackson said and shoved it towards Alan. Alan Started eating in a rush and in no time he was done with it.

"That's great". Alan thought. "I think I'm okay now".

"Hey Jackson! What are you thinking about. Cuz you don't look okay". Alan asked.

Jackson then raised his head upward, his eyes Red as if he was sobbing. "Well! I'm just thinking that I'm too weak". He answered. "Me and you are alike. We've not awakened our ability yet, and we're both at level 1. But you defeated a level 2 as if he was nothing ".

Alan was shocked at Jackson's confession. He understood the feeling of being weak and helpless, cause he once has been in Jackson's shoes.

"I understand what you mean. So you want to get stronger right?". Alan asked, as Jackson then nodded slightly. "That's great. We'll begin your training by tomorrow. Hope no problem?". Alan asked.

"No prob. Thanks. I'm really grateful".
