Chapter 2 The Plan

I woke up with a devious plan in mind, I had never felt so in control of my life as I was feeling at the moment. It was time that I proved to my father I was more than what he saw me for.

He didn't think I was capable, he thought me weak. Well, things were about to change.

I did my business, got dressed in comfortable clothes, and went down for breakfast, you can't possibly expect a girl to carry out her devious plan on an empty stomach do ya?

I love food sue me. As I went into the kitchen I saw the maid Martha setting the table. I greeted her and got busy with my food.

As I just finished my food I saw the first focus of my first plan coming towards the kitchen.

Gabriel.

He is my father's most trusted and without him out of the way I can't achieve anything I have in mind.

Let's get some action started, shall we? Hm"Hey Gabriel," I said as he came into the kitchen grabbing a mug for his coffee. "Cara". That was his simple response. Oh, I think we didn't do a proper introduction, I'm Cara Elena Santiago, yeah that's me, let's leave the rest for another time.

Back to business. I had devised a plan that would make Gabriel take a drink with me. Knowing him, I'm not going to ask him now because he'll ask why I'm so interested in drinking early this morning, besides it is too risky to have him missing this morning.

As for now, I'll act like a damn princess they think me to be.

"Gabriel," I called he turned to look at me like it was a sin to have his name from my mouth. Let's just let that slide, no snarky remarks as of now, and besides Gabriel has been my favorite amongst all other of my dad's men and I almost feel bad for what I have planned for him. keyword, almost. nothing is stopping my plan.

Coming back to the present.

"Gab I'm so bored, no one has my time in this mansion I'm all alone." He looked at me like I had suddenly grown two horns muttering ..

"how does that have anything to do with me?". I got down from the stool I was sitting to have breakfast and walked up to him putting my most innocent face and a charming puppy dog eye.

" Gabriel you know you are the only one my dad lets me talk to or even look at, don't look at me like I want to confess feeling for you I'm not. I'm just trying to negotiate here," I told him as he had that look like he was about to run if a made any confession.

Basically, everyone was scared of even looking at me. The mafia Don's daughter.

Only Gabriel has some basic privileges. He's still looking at me weirdly.

"Gabriel please can you have a drink with me later, besides you all are going to leave me here later all by myself. Alone and bored. So at least you should give me this little attention I'm seeking. It's not like I ask you to have drinks with me every day."

"I can't I have things to do," he replied.

"Things like what?" I had to ask and show my curious face acting all innocent. Can't let him know I know the "things" he was referring to.

I blink my eyes putting my puppy dog's eyes on, he can't refuse me with this look.

" You are one living distraction, not like I can refuse you anything"...he said.

" Just one drink and you're on your own."

I couldn't control my excitement as he chuckled at me and left the kitchen.

If only he knew what my excitement was all about. He'd seize that chuckle of his.

Hmm, I can't wait.
