Chapter 2 First kiss

Kael's POV

As I walk into the strip club, the first thing that hits me is the dim, sultry lighting that casts a warm glow over everything. The thumping bass of the music vibrates through my body, pulling me deeper inside. The air is thick with a mix of perfume and the faint scent of alcohol, creating an intoxicating atmosphere.

I glance around and see plush, dark leather booths lining the walls, filled with people laughing and chatting. The stage at the center is illuminated, showcasing dancers who moves with confidence and grace, captivating everyone's attention. The flickering lights dance across the room, highlighting the excitement and energy that fills the space.

I can feel the buzz of anticipation as I settle in, taking in the scene-the blend of laughter, music, and the thrill of the night, all coming together in this vibrant, electric environment. It's a place where reality fades away, and for a moment, everything feels possible.

After taking in the scene for a moment, he turned to Orion and said, "Let's grab some drinks." They made their way to the bar stand, weaving through the crowd. The bar was bustling, with a mix of patrons ordering everything from cocktails to shots.

He scanned the drink menu, finally settling on something refreshing. Orion did the same, and soon they were handed their drinks, the glasses clinking together as they toasted to the night ahead.

With drinks in hand, they navigated back through the lively atmosphere, finding a cozy spot near the stage. They settled into their seats, the music pulsating around them, ready to enjoy the show while sipping on their drinks. It felt like the perfect start to an unforgettable night.

The host introduced someone and the whole crowd roared, it seemed like they've been waiting for the next act.

"What's going on?" He asked

"It's Jade. She's up next" Orion answered, knowing from multiple visits to the club.

"Who's that?" He asked

"She's basically the stripper star, she's the whole reason why people come here" He said and he replied with an 'oh'.

Kael's POV

I took a sip of my drink and watched as 'Jade ' walked to the stage. And I must say, for a stripper, she walks with so much confidence and elegance. She danced gracefully yet slutty, her outfit was perfect on her, like a second skin. I couldn't see her face because of the mask she was wearing but I could see her lips and eyes, her brown hazel eyes. Eyes that held secrets, eyes that drew me in. I stared at her so much, I started smiling like a fool. And just then, we made eye contact, she seemed taking aback at first but she refused to be distracted. Jade's POV

His facial features were striking, with a strong jawline that accentuated his masculine charm. I was stunned when my gaze met his, but I quicky concentrated, less on the dancing and more on him. His deep-set, emerald green eyes sparkled with mischief, drawing me in with their intensity. A hint of stubble framed his face, adding a ruggedness that perfectly contrasted his warm, inviting yet mischievous grin. I couldn't help but get captivated by his beauty. His features are so alluring, with a mischievous glint in his eyes that hinted at a world of secrets. Everytime he smiled, it felt like the room lit up with his charm, I couldn't help but smile back. He had a way of exuding confidence and mystery that drew me in, leaving me wanting to unravel the enigma that was him. And just then, I watched him walk towards the host who was standing at the side of the stage. I watched them talk for a while and the face of the host lit up. I could tell she was happy, but why?. She went to the changing room and came out with Maddie, who, in no time, came to the stage

"You've been booked, I was asked to fill in for you." came Maddie's whispers. I replied her with an 'okay' and left. I left the stage and Maddie finally got her time to shine. Lila, the host, took me to a private room where I saw him, my hot and mysterious stranger, sitting on one of the sofas.

"Enjoy yourself" the host, Lila said before she walked away, leaving just me and the man alone.

It wasn't professional of me to make chit chat with a customer, so I started giving him what he paid for. I started by sitting on his lap in an attempt to give him a lap dance but he stopped me.

"I didn't pay to have you ride on me" He said, his voice, deep, gentle and clear. This man was making me fall In love with everything about him.

"Then what did you pay for?" I asked, still on his lap

"To have a conversation with you" He said and I quickly got up from his lap and stood still.

"It's not allowed, sir" I said

"To have a conversation?" he asked and I just stared at the ground

"Take of your mask" He commanded, his voice getting deeper

"That's not allowed either" I said, staring at him now. He stood up and stood in front of me. His already stretched hand started caressing my cheek. Just a single touch from him did strange things to my body, things I couldn't explain.

"Let me see you" He said in almost a whisper

"I'm sorry sir, but you can't " I said in attempt to make him understand but I was failing

"You're Jade, right?" He asked

"yes, Sir" I said

"Call me Kael" he said

"Okay, Kael" I said

"what's your last name" He asked still caressing my cheek

"What part of 'that's not allowed' do you not under..." Before I could finish my sentence, he took my lips in his and kissed me passionately like I was his lover. He ravaged my mouth and sucked it until I was out of air and I pulled back.

I was speechless, I didn't know what to say

"Take off your mask Jade" He said

"I-I'm ii--it's" I stammered. He stretched his hand to my face and took of the mask. I still couldn't move, I was still stunned, still shocked. When the mask was off, he looked at me with a shocked expression. He started acting strange, It looked like he was fighting a battle in his head.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"I have to go" he said and with that he dashed out of the room, leaving me glued to the spot.
