Chapter 6 Six

Billy did not really think much about Gu Min's threat to him and Xiao Xie, even though Ray called his attention to it. Since her aunt Tiau Zi is still in prison and he believes there is no way she will get out of prison, he thinks Gu Min's threat was just an empty threat.

After Xiao Xie's parents and her friends finish having fun and shopping a lot for her, the driver drops Fu Bin and Wu Chin at the hostel.

"We will meet with you early tomorrow at the airport," Fu Bin said to Xiao Xie before they go into their hostel.

"Alright," Xiao Xie waves to them, and the driver drives back to Billy's place with her parents. Billy has asked them to sleep at his place since they will have to go with them to the airport tomorrow to say their final goodbyes.

Fin Bin and Wu Chin were surprised when they get to the hostel and realized that Xiao Xie's things have been packed from her space.

"Wu Chin, Xiao Xie is really leaving us," Fin Bin cried to Wu Chin.

"Yes," Wu Chin replies, trying not to cry. They both hug themselves, sniffing.

"I don't want another roommate," Wu Chin cries out.

"Me too," Fin Bin adds, as they continue to cry.

Xiao Xie herself didn't know that Billy already sent someone to get her things from the hostel when they went out.

When the driver takes Xiao Xie and her parents back to Billy's place, Billy was already waiting for them because they took much time to come back. The guest room was already arranged for Xiao Xie's parents. They all had lunch and went to their rooms to sleep since they will have to wake up early tomorrow because Billy and Xiao Xie's flight is booked for early morning.

"I can't wait for us to be together alone," Billy tells Xiao Xie as they retire to bed.

"Are you that excited?" Xiao Xie asks, smiling.

"Yes, I'm so excited to live with you, just the two of us alone," Billy replies, looking into Xiao Xie's eyes.

"Me too," Xiao Xie said slowly.

"But why am I feeling reluctant to leave China?" Xiao Xie's face falls.

Billy knows that she must be skeptical about leaving, so he pulls her to himself.

"You must be feeling reluctant because it's your first time leaving the country. And your parents and friends are in China. But we are going together, you will not be alone there, so you don't have to feel reluctant," Billy tells her.

Xiao Xie looks into his eyes as if searching for something. She could see that Billy really cares for her.

"I promise you, I will make sure you enjoy your stay abroad," Billy adds.

Xiao Xie smiles and hugs him to herself.

"So tell me what I should expect?" Xiao Xie wants to take her mind off her worries, so she asks. She believes listening to Billy telling her about things to expect abroad will get her excited.

"Humm..." Billy wants to make it fun in explaining things to her, so he thinks of what to say.

"Since you live almost all your life abroad, you should know how it is there," Xiao Xie adds, excited to hear from Billy.

Actually, Billy lived most of his life abroad, but he did not like it there. He actually loves being in China, his home country, more than abroad. It was not his will to stay abroad, but because of his grandfather, he had to leave his parents at a young age to stay abroad alone with his nanny and would only come home at Christmas and Chinese New Year.

He actually enjoyed his stay in China after he came back more than when he was abroad, but it was because of Xiao Xie. If he thinks about his family dramas and the pressure from his grandfather, who died, he will prefer abroad, but because of Xiao Xie, he gets to fall in love with China.

He wants to move back abroad now after getting together with Xiao Xie because he wants to avoid anything from his family. And also try to escape from his responsibility in the company. From the beginning of his life, he has been bombarded with responsibilities to take over Tiaz Group and take it higher.

It was something he never wanted, but since he was born into such responsibility, he has no choice. And there is her aunt, Tiau Zi, who always opposes her father and compares herself to her father.

He had thought that when he got into university, he would be able to break free from the responsibilities on him, but his parents died suddenly, which means he has to take all responsibilities. With the death of his grandfather, he has no choice but to keep going.

It was Xiao Xie's company that kept him going without breaking down with everything that his aunt Tiau Zi did with Gu Min, her daughter. He wouldn't have returned abroad and stayed in China with Xiao Xie happily. But he knows that if he decides to stay in China, he will not enjoy the life he wanted. He wanted to be an artist, which he has never disclosed to anyone, and decides to pursue on his own.

He wants to leave all the responsibility of the Tiaz Group to Ray, since he knows that Ray is capable of handling everything on his behalf. Then he will be able to live with Xiao Xie abroad and focus on his dream of becoming an artist and making his family happy.

"Abroad is totally different from China. They speak English language mostly," Billy tells Xiao Xie.

"Really!" Xiao Xie replies, looking at him curiously.

"You know a bit of that. But don't worry, your husband can speak all English language," Billy said jokingly.

Xiao Xie giggles.

"That means you will be teaching me English language. I really love to learn new language," Xiao Xie tells him, seeming excited about it.

"Yes, it's a pleasure to be your teacher," Billy said to her, smiling.

"What other things are there?" Xiao Xie looks more curious.

"The food there is different from that of China, but there are Chinese foods and restaurants available. You don't have to worry," Billy tells her.

"Oh! Mom brought many things," Xiao Xie feels a little disappointed but still excited to know more.

When Billy sees that Xiao Xie is curious to know more, he goes on.

"The people there are a little whiter. That is why they call them white people. They are a little different from us," Billy tells her.

Xiao Xie looks at him and sighs.

"Not that, I am not from a local place. I have seen people from abroad online and see that they are a little different from us," she said, forming anger.

"Am so sorry," Billy quickly said, not wanting to piss her off.

"Everything is good there, and it's a lot of fun. You will enjoy everything, especially since I will be there with you," Billy doesn't know what else to tell her anymore.

Xiao Xie sighs, looking at him with side eyes.

"We should sleep early, don't you think? Our flight is early morning tomorrow," Billy pulls her to himself, cuddling her, so that she will ask no more questions.

They later fall asleep, cuddling.

The next morning, they wake up early with Xiao Xie's parents and her friends to accompany them to the airport, with Billy's maternal grandfather and Ray too.

Xiao Xie's parents could not bear to depart from her, and her friends too. Fu Bin and Wu Chin even cried as they hug Xiao Xie goodbye, which makes her also feel reluctant to leave.

She wanted to go abroad to study, but she didn't know it would be this difficult to leave the people close to her.

Billy just smiles as Xiao Xie's friends cry, hugging her goodbye.

"Make sure to take care of my daughter," Xiao Xie's mother tells Billy secretly.

"I will make sure to take care of her very well, mother-in-law," Billy said to Xiao Xie's mother.

"Thank you," Xiao Xie's mother said to Billy and hugged him too.

"Grandfather, aren't you going back to Korea?" Billy asks his maternal grandfather.

"I want to see you leave first. I still have some things to do here in China," Billy's maternal grandfather said to him.

Billy looks at him and wonders what his grandfather wants to do in China.

"Alright, make sure to take care of yourself," Billy tells his grandfather.

Billy's grandfather then goes to Xiao Xie, who has little tears in her eyes.

"Did you remember your promise to me?" he asks.

Xiao Xie smiles softly and nods.

"Make sure to keep the promise quickly," Billy's grandfather tells her.

"Alright, grandfather," she replies, smiling.

Billy turns to Ray, who also feels reluctant to let Billy leave. He did not show it, but was already missing Billy.

"Take care of the company and take care of yourself too," Billy tells him.

"Alright, young master," Ray replies.

"Then let me know everything about Gu Min," he adds.

"Alright, young master," Ray replies slowly.

Billy and Xiao Xie leave while the others wave them goodbye as they leave.

After the others see that they could not see them again, they also leave the airport.

After they all leave, Gu Min, who has been watching them all, comes out and smirks.

"Billy, it is good for you to leave like this. I will make sure you will never come back the same," Gu Min thinks and smirks wickedly.

Then she brings out her phone and dials an international number.

"I have news for you," she said to the other person on the other side of the phone.

"Billy is coming," she adds and ends the call.
