Chapter 5 Remove The Face Mask

CALISTA'S POV

I watch as he makes his way to the wardrobe and he hangs his clothes on it. He walked over to the socket and he was about to switch the light on but as if he had a second thought he paused and stared back at me and I was lucky to have quickly closed my eyes before he catches me. He didn't switch the light on instead, he opened the curtains on the window, to allow a bit of moonlight to enter the room. He dropped his phone on the table and he stared at an empty bottle of champagne.

"She must have been bored to have drank a whole bottle of Champagne on her own." I heard him say to himself. For the first time to hear him speak, my heart broke a bit. I don't know if it's because of fear or something else that I can't fathom.

Quietly, I watched as the man changed into loose trousers. Seeing him walk towards the bed, he started to walk towards the bed and my heart beat increased as my instinct kicked in and I started to move backward on the bed in so much fear. I thought I was prepared for this but turns out I wasn't.

I thought my heart was strong enough but not in a situation like this.

"Who are you?" I asked with so much dizziness in my eyes. as I struggled to fight the sleep that still raged through my eyes. I shook my head, trying to push off the dizziness that was starting to seep through me. A tall figure walked through me, and despite my dizziness, I could see the figure of the man.

His physique holds so much authority.

The sharp moonlight passed through the window, and the breeze blew the curtains away, letting the sharp light fall on his face. Thick black and silver hair, curly, pink luscious lips, and eyes that seemed to hold so much authority and power in them. He was shirtless, and my eyes roamed through them in fear. My eyes moved down to his torso and seeing that he was still clothed down there, I sighed in relief. I noticed the thick bulge that lay beneath the pants and instantly I knew I was in trouble.

Was he supposed to be this big? Even down there.

I gulped hard as I knew not what sex was like, and that if my first time with a man was going to be this huge, it would be extremely painful. I shifted farther into the bed as he climbed into the bed, his huge figure dominating everywhere and sending heat to my body.

"Stay...away...from...me," I said and struggled to close my skin that seemed exposed but he was quick to behold the exposed skin and I could see his eyes glittering with so much admiration as he focused his attention on me.

Just the two of us alone in this room made my heart beat faster than expected. I could literally hear the loud pounding of my heartbeat that wasn't slow or steady, rather it seemed as if I just ran a hundred meters race.

I look frightened like a little girl watching a horror movie.

"What are you doing?" I heard his thick but sultry voice, and in horror, I knew that I was before the Alpha king himself. I gulped, as I realized that we had been lied to and that the man who would test if my sister was still clean was no ordinary slave, cook, or gardener, but Alpha Greyson himself. I gulped as I remembered how I got here in the first place as a substitute for my sister.

This must not go wrong. I remember my mum and sister's warning.

"I see that you are awake." He said and I froze. That voice. I recognized that voice from the TV. He stepped into the light and my fears were confirmed. It was indeed Alpha Greyson. It was no ordinary slave or gardener, it was the Alpha himself. But of course, he was the one who was doing the marrying, so it made total sense that he was the one doing the checking.

"Alpha Greyson," I muttered and he raised his eyebrows. He was extremely handsome in real life. He moved even closer to bed and I shifted back in fear. Should he find out that I was not Bella, there would be hell to pay.

"What are you doing? Are you not aware of the reason for which you are here?" He said and sat on the bed. I sat straight and curled my legs.

"I...I....am... But I am a virgin and the thought of all of this is what scares me." I said and Greyson gave me an evil smirk that sent more fear to my spine.

My voice wasn't supposed to sound this weak and pathetic but I can't hide my emotions.

"You have nothing to fear. I am the man who would be marrying you. Think of this as our marriage consummation." He said and my eyes brimmed with tears.

If only you knew that I am not the woman you would be marrying. I am simply her substitute. I thought to myself. Greyson reached out to my legs and dragged his fingers on them, and pulled me by the legs to himself. He frowned when he saw that I still wore a nose mask and suspicion took over him.

Oh no hope it is not what I am thinking. Literally anyone could hear the sound of my heart beat and see the fear through me.

"Remove your face Mask, Bella. There is no need to hide your face from me." He said and I shook my head. Greyson tilted his Head, and his eyes became cold as if he was giving me a last warning to follow his command.

"Remove the face mask, Isabella Walters." He said Authoritatively and I gasped. This was trouble.
