Chapter 7 Alex and Eve's fourth encounter in a row

In order to get far away from that place, Eve ran away until she reached the kitchen lounge of the pub. She finally stopped on her track and leaned herself on the wall to rest. She was panting hard because of running.

The scene she was at awhile ago made her cheeks flushed along with her wild heartbeat recalling how that man kissed her intensely. Her heart almost leaped out from her ribcage and the feeling was unexplainable. The anger and contempt she had to that guy even diminished just in a few minutes.

" What's happening to me? Ahh what am i thinking " she patted her forehead in annoyance.

" He's a bad guy. He took advantage of you so he's an enemy and you hated him! Stop thinking stupid things "

She scolded herself like crazy but more on convincing herself to shake off those crazy thoughts she have. It was so disgusting.

She made her way to the restroom and washed her face and mouth many times to get rid of that man's scent and touch. When she already felt that she was cleaned thoroughly, she tidied up herself back then took a deep breath and got out of the restroom.

Kelly found her outside.

" Hey are you okay? You looked tensed " Kelly asked after seeing her.

" I'm alright! Just that my stomach hurts a bit " she lied and touched her belly.

" You're on your period right? That happens to me a lot too "

" Yeah but i'm fine now " she responded and squeezed out a smile.

" Are you sure? How about i make you

a ginger tea. It will ease the pain "

Kelly offered sincerely. She didn't have the heart to refuse her kindness so she agreed.

" Let's go to the kitchen "

They went to the kitchen together and Kelly made her a cup of tea. After she finished it there was another order from a private box.

" Room service for room 605 "

The head chef came in with a cart full of different delicacies and two bottles of expensive champagne.

" Who was in there Chef? " Kelly asked.

" Mr. Dalton " the chef answered.

Both of their faces grimaced. Almost all of the Crew on the pub knew that the old Mr Dalton have his eyes on Eve.

" Let me take it to him " Kelly presented.

" Mr Dalton specified that only Eve can bring his order to the room. We can't say no because he's our VIP customer here " the chef explained to them.

" Have you all gone crazy? Did you already forgot the last time he harassed her!? Hold on let me talk to uncle " Kelly defended her and decided to talk to the manager.

It's true that she was almost harassed by that old man but he was drunk that time and was not on his consciousness. And he apologized to her right away after the incident. So she forgotten it already.

" He will never do that again i think. Besides he got company this time so it will be fine. Eve will just to serve them the food and wine " the chef said briefly.

" It's okay Kelly. I can handle it " she said and stood up.

" What about your stomachache? "

Kelly was truly worriedly of her to have an interaction with that old pig!

" I'm fine now. Thanks to your tea " she assured her and took the cart from the chef.

" Be careful will you ? " Kelly reminded her.

" Of course " she replied and turned her back to them.

Meanwhile on the private box...

" I'm very delighted that Mr. Harris finally agreed to my business proposal " said by the old man with a beer belly while grinning from ear to ear.

" You should have known that my time is more precious than your life so you better not waste it " Alex coldly replied.

The old man shamelessly laughed on his statement. He really despised this kind of person. Such a greedy pig!

If not only for the good benefits he can get from his business proposal he would surely kick him out of his sight.

" Certainly! I know how valuable Mr Harris's time is. I guarantee you will get the most benefits of our deal "

The old man appeased him grinning like a mad dog. He just looked at him coldly and scoffed. Then there was a knock outside the door.

" Oh well i guess the food has arrived! Come on in " the old man shouted.

The door opened wide and a woman entered with the trolley of different dishes. Then again he was startled for a second and so was she when their eyes met.

He can sense even from afar that she became uneasy upon meeting him again after their little scene lately. His cheek was still burning lightly from her slap.

How he wished he could strangle this lady to death! Yet whenever he caught her bright and mesmerizing almond shaped eyes, he was completely drawn to it everytime and the thought of the passionate kiss they have shared awhile ago made him to refrain from his impulsiveness. This sudden changes of feelings was driving him really mad with his own self.

He's still very clueless why he was feeling a strong desire for a woman this time. It was very strange to him as he was alone all his life. But things changed quickly after meeting this woman today and his mind along with his body started to act weird. Maybe he was bewitched by her or something!

" Well well, the food is here! Come on dear. It's nice to see you again "

The old man gestured her to serve the dishes on the table infront of them.

" It's good to see you too Mr Dalton "

She responded meekly without casting a single glance at him. Then she started to place the dishes on the table.

He was calmly seated on the couch with his legs crossed and carefully observing her every move. But out of the corner of his eyes, he caught the old dog was eyeing keenly at her with lustful eyes.

She was wearing a waitress tight skirt that only reached above her knees and had a small slit around the left area of her thigh. She was not wearing any stockings so her smooth and fair long legs was very exposed.

And top of that, she didn't only have a very beautiful face but also the curves of her body is very enticing. She is truly very attractive that even a celibate man like him captured his attention .

He's having a headache again! He would tell Earl later to change the staff's uniforms into a decent one as there were so many mad dogs scattered everywhere.

Wait.. why does he mind about it so much? What does it have to do with him anyway?!
